The host was extremely welcoming, showed us around and answered all our questions. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and super relaxing. The garden and pool are gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

An unforgettable stay in a delightful property. The grounds were so tranquil, and the pool area was loved by the children. The host stayed in close contact, and was always available for any queries.We were fortunate enough to see Etna erupting near the end of our stay. There are wonderful views of Etna from the front of the property.

Perfect for the real Sicily

We could not fault this stay. Michele our host was welcoming and helpful. The villa was perfect for our needs. Spacious and accommodating. Gave us the privacy needed but close to all amenities. With restaurants within walking distance. The ‘lungomare’ was so beautiful to walk along. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing

Beautiful house, beautiful garden We have just had 2 wonderful weeks in this house. Thank you Mikele, there was everything there that we needed, very clean and well maintained garden and pool. We found some lovely restaurants very close by, and found getting around quite easy with the sat nav.

Great property

We had a lovely week in Michele's beautiful house and gardens. It was necessary to have a car but there were also amenities close by as well as the sea, all in walking distance. From the house we could also see Etna's daily changes. Michele was easy to contact and helpful with information.

Beautiful house, friendly host.

The house is wonderful. The sleeping rooms are in the basement, which is perfect for hot days. All electric devices functioned. The garden is lovely with charming details. Very well maintained. We didn't find the private walk down to the water, but there is no need for that. There is a calm street down. The host offered us a warm welcome. English speaking, very reliable and helpful with insider tipps for trips in the area.

Great and calm spot

The house and the fully private premises is huge and as most Italian houses quite dark on the inside; however the outside area is splendid for a calm and anonym stay with your family; playing football on the very nice grass, swim in the pool, everything calm and outstandingly well maintained...the sleeping rooms are in the cellar, sometimes lacking a bit fresh air but if your priority is time spent on the outside is a priority, a perfect spot!!! The sea is near but does not have a beach, for seaside activities you need to take the bike or car...

2023 Sicily visit.

Michele was an excellent host. He was waiting at the villa when we arrived and he spent some time with us showing us around the garden and pool then the inside of the villa. Everywhere was very clean and well looked after. He suggested places to visit and local close-by restaurants. We found the fridge-freezer had stopped working one morning so I Whatsapped Michele who replaced it by lunch time. For our first few days the weather was cloudy and rainy but afterwards it was clear and sunny and that was when we got our great first view of Etna. Great base for driving to see the sights, you will need a car. Thank you Michele for looking after us on our Sicily visit.

Perfect house for holiday in Catania area

We enjoyed two weeks holiday in this beautiful house. The house is in perfect condition and very well equipped and furnished, everything was very clean and nothing was missing. The layout of the house is very well thought out, the bedrooms are in the cooler basement, but the rooms are still very bright thanks to the windows. If that's not enough in summer, there are also well-functioning air conditioning units installed. We immediately felt at home. The large garden is also fantastic, and thanks to the pool and the games (e.g. basketball) there was never a dull moment. Of course there was a barbecue, which was also very clean. Communication with Michele was always absolutely smooth and he also gave us lots of tips for excursions. The location is ideal for excursions to the north (Taormina, Messina) but day trips to Syracuse and the South are also possible thanks to the good connections. There are long beaches with fine pebbles in the immediate vicinity (5-10 minutes by car). You have to travel further by car to reach sandy beaches in this area. The only drawback we found was sometimes the noise of the road, which passes about 30 - 40 metres from the house. All in all, Michele's house is highly recommended for holidays in Sicily.

The best house we've rented

We visited Sicily in late summer and decided on renting this house. Although we arrived late in the night, the owner, Michele, waited for us with wine and cookies. He had also prepared a set of maps and showed what should be visited and took the time to answer all our questions despite the late hour. It was not entirely clear to us how the house was organized from the pictures, so let me clarify this a bit. The house has two levels: one at ground level and one partially underground. The level that is partially underground contains the two bedrooms and a bathroom. All of these receive plenty of light during the day due to the orientation of the house. Being underground has a very important advantage: it keeps the rooms cool during the scorching sicillian days, so we had no trouble sleeping. Speaking of which, one of the bedrooms has a twin bed, the other has two separate single beds that can be joined. The upper level of the house has the kitchen (fully equiped), a second bathroom and the dining room. It also has a patio where you can eat and spend evenings. The property contains has the main house built in the middle of a garden. This isolates the house a bit from the noise of the nearby main road. Besides the main house, there is also an open area where kids can play and a covered area where you can park the car (and you should most definitely rent a small car if you want to visit). The house was very clean and well equipped. I'm not sure if it's shown in the pictures, but there is a washing machine for clothes and an outside barbeque area. Both the bathrooms were fully equipped as well. Besides the bedrooms, an extra person can fit on the couch in the living room (which I don't know if it's extensible or not). Regarding the location itself, the house is part of a quiet little town, with a few good restaurants. It is close to the water and you can go for a swim, but there are no sandy beaches close by (hence the need for a car). You can get to the sandy beaches of Giardini Naxos in about a 30min drive, or settle for a pebbles beach at a mere 10min drive. Throughout our stay we had the whole property to ourselves and Michele did not intrude in any way (we did, however, bother him with questions which he cleared up for us). Overall we had a great holiday and would return gladly. Michele was a great host and very helpful. I highly recommend this property and its owner.

Litet paradis bland frukttrÀden

En liten pĂ€rla med bra avstĂ„nd om du vill besöka Taormina, Etna, Siracusa osv. Kan rekommendera en utflykt till Cava grande dell Cassibile om man gillar lite Ă€ventyr, ravin med hĂ€ftigt bad i botten. Mysigt hus i Italiensk stil med en jĂ€ttefin trĂ€dgĂ„rd som var perfekt för barn att springa runt och leka pĂ„. HĂ€ftigt för barnen att plocka egna apelsiner och se Etna torna upp sig med rinnande lava i bakgrunden! Finare trĂ€dgĂ„rd Ă€n pĂ„ bild med perfekt pool till barnen och mysigt omrĂ„de med grillplats i skugga i anslutning för tex lunch. Tomten har grind till gatan vilket ocksĂ„ var skönt sĂ„ man behövde inte oroa sig för barnen och bilar. Skönt m svala sovrum en trappa ned. Enklare kök men det mesta fanns tillgĂ€ngligt förutom en kaffekokare:) Michele Ă€r en vĂ€ldigt trevlig vĂ€rd och man kunde lĂ€tt hĂ„lla kontakt och stĂ€lla frĂ„gor genom whatsApp. Rekommenderar⭐

Zauberhaftes und sehr gepflegtes Anwesen

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Objekt war nicht nur extrem gut ausgestattet, sondern auch picobello sauber. Im Garten gibt es einen Grill mit sĂ€mtlichem Zubehör. Im Haus fanden wir Kaffee, GewĂŒrze, Öl, HandtĂŒcher, GeschirrspĂŒltĂŒcher und ausreichend Toilettenpapier vor. LĂ€ngst keine ĂŒbliche Ausstattung mehr in einem Ferienhaus. Paradies zum Wiederkommen

Wir waren bereits schon vor zwei Jahren zu Gast in Micheles wunderbarem Ferienhaus. Wie schon in unserer letzten Bewertung ausgefĂŒhrt ĂŒbertreffen das Haus, der tropische Garten und der Pool die Erwartungen. Alles ist top gepflegt und es wurde einiges wie zum Beispiel in neue Matratzen und Möbel investiert ohne das stilvolle Ambiente zu beeintrĂ€chtigen. Michele hat uns herzlich gegrĂŒĂŸt, war immer per Messenger erreichbar und hat auftretende Probleme prompt beseitigt. Außerdem sind seine Tipps wirklich zu gebrauchen. Nochmals vielen Dank fĂŒr den Tipp mit der Cantina Nicosia. Das Essen mit Weinprobe war super. Noch kurz zur Umgebung. Riposto und Torre Archirafi sowie das Meer sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Etliche SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten wie der Ätna und Taormina bequem mit dem Auto. Es war ein herrlicher erholsamer Urlaub. Danke Michele

Einfach toll

Der Aufenthalt in Riposto war traumhaft. Die Unterkunft von Michele war wirklich wunderschön. Das Haus sowie das großzĂŒgige GrundstĂŒck waren ein wundervoller RĂŒckzugs- und Erholungsort nach unseren TagesausflĂŒgen. Die Kommunikation war super. Die Unterkunft war eine glatte 10 von 10. Maison avec tres beau jardin

Maison avec tout le confort necessaire , bien equipee, piscine agreable et magnifique jardin. Le seul inconvenient est que la maison est au bord d'une route passante et donc bruyante la nuit. L'hote Michele etait tres a l'Ă©coute et repondait Ă  nos delandes rapidement.

wunderschönes ferienhaus

wir haben den aufenthalt sehr genossen, das ferienhaus ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, es gibst eine außenkĂŒche und diverse sitzgelegenheiten im großen, wunderschön angelegten garten, den pool haben wir jeden tag genutzt ebenso den kleinen basketballplatz, der vermieter ist sehr freundlich, wir haben ausflĂŒge nach syrakus und zum Ă€tna gemacht und viel selbst gekocht. ich glaube es war unser bislang schönstes ferienhaus

Toller Familienurlaub

Wir waren im Juni fĂŒr eine Woche in diesem tollen Ferienhaus! Die Bilder entsprechen genau der Wirklichkeit. Michelle ist unglaublich nett und hat uns alles sehr gut erklĂ€rt. Toller Gastgeber! Die Außenanlage und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das einzige negative ist die Umgebung. Dreckig und nicht so schön. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen. Viele tolle Ausflugsziele in 1- 1 1/2h zu erreichen. Auch fĂŒr unseren 2 jĂ€hrigen Sohn wurde ein Reisebett zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt.

Schönes Anwesen

wir verbrachten ein Woche mit zwei großen Jungs auf dem Anwesen. Der Empfang, wie auch die gesamte Kommunikation vor, wĂ€hrend und nach dem Aufenthalt mit Michele waren durchweg super. Er war immer erreichbar, stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ganz herzlichen Dank auch fĂŒr den Imbiss am ersten Tag, den er uns fĂŒr kleines Geld gerichtet hat. Das Haus selbst bietet alles was das Herz begehrt, der Garten ist großartig und sehr gepflegt. Die zahlreichen FischlĂ€den und einige Restaurants sind fusslĂ€ufig erreichbar. Was leider nicht geht ist im Meer baden in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. DafĂŒr ist der Pool perfekt, der auch regelmĂ€ĂŸig gewartet wird. Die Lage ist fĂŒr AusflĂŒge gut geeignet. Bei uns auf dem Programm standen natĂŒrlich der Etna, aber auch Taormina, Noto (unbedingt machen) und Syrakus. FĂŒr uns das Highlight war das große Anwesen (mitsamt der frischen Zitronen fĂŒr unsere GetrĂ€nke) und die Tatsache, dass wir alleine da wĂ€re.

Wir haben die Zeit in Micheles Haus sehr genossen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht oder brauchen könnte. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und der Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit. V.a. die Vielfalt im Garten hat uns sehr gefallen.
