Summer retreat

We stayed Sunday through Wednesday. The home was clean and well-equiped. We enjoyed the view of the lake. We played pool and ping pong. We had plenty of room to sleep and play. There are 3 A/C units so we all slept perfectly comfortable. There were 2 bicycles that we didn't get to use, but we had a blast with the kayaks. We loved that thebkitchen had room for our food in the large empty pantry. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Birthday Trip to CC Lake

We booked this lake house for my sons 16th birthday with 6 of his buddies as well as my daughter and her friend. The property manager Morgan was friendly and easy to communicate with. The house was the perfect size for our group and the boys LOVED the play room with the pool and ping pong table! We also met the owner, Lance who has a small cottage next door - great guy! He actually owns a boat rental company on the lake. We brought our own boat and lo and behold it broke down on the first day. Not only did he give me a discount on a next day boat rental, he also let me use a jet ski to tow my boat to the trailer. We will definitely book again!!

2024 Family Lake Retreat

Every year our entire family gets together for a Summer Retreat on a Lake. This Lake Home was the right choice. All of our comfort and recreational needs were available. Everyone wants to return. Thank you Morgan and Lance.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Mabank, Tx. The house is well equipped for cooking, relaxing, and having fun! We enjoyed all of the available seating in multiple outdoor areas on the property, fishing from the dock, watching the sunsets, playing pool, and floating and kayaking in the lake. Thanks for a great, laid back vacation.

Great vacation home

This ended up being one of the best VRBO rentals I have ever booked. Communication with the owner/management was great and the free guided fishing trip was an added bonus. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental on Cedar Creek!

Peaceful and fun!

Our family of 4 stayed at this lovely property. The communication with Morgan, the property manager, was awesome. She was quick to answer any questions we had and then very helpful when snafus arose. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing (even though the weather was not perfect fishing weather, we still caught a few fish)! We especially enjoyed playing pool in the evening. We have stayed in a lot of places on Cedar Creek and this was one of the first properties where we could go on nice walks around the neighborhood.

The location on the lake is nice. The house itself is good for a group of adults & kids. The parking is limited for that size of house. The property manager was very good and helped us find a place for our boat & trailer.

Located directly on the lake, with upgraded appliances throughout, and there are thoughtful touches as well: extra throw blankets, candles in bathrooms, extra (and plush) towels and high-quality bedding, and a very responsive host.

Perfect Thanksgiving holiday with our family

We fished, walked around the neighborhood, cooked a full Thanksgiving meal in the great kitchen, watched movies and played lots of pool! It was a wonderful family vacation.

Overall nice property had plenty of accommodations. The parking situation was the only concern there’s not a lot but overall it was a good time and a nice place. The property manager was great to work with, and she worked with us to help accommodate everything we needed.

Wonderful Vacation and Great Communication

Had a wonderful stay that was perfect for our family. Owner Lance/Morgan was wonderful to work with and great communication on the property. Went above and beyond in making our stay great! We take a week long lake trip every year and this was our favorite property so far! Will definitely book again when coming to Cedar Creek! Cannot say enough about how enjoyable the time with family was!

Wonderful location, wonderful house and great lake dock!

An awesome house on the lake in a great location just inside a cove! Has a great view and an awesome 2-story dock that made it perfect for our large family - 17 in all. If you are looking for a great stay - this is the house for you!

Way expensive, not worth for the cost.

Good location, it is closure to lake is great. We had below problems: 1. Its very very costly for that size of the house. We paid $3,000 for three nights. 2. Listing syas that 16 can sleep but its not enought, only three bedrooms. They charged extra for more than 10 guest, theyn why listing that 16 can sleep. 3. Garage is converted into bedrooms and play area combined together. Which is not good at all. As its very disutrbing for people who like to sleep can not sleep because other people playing in the same area. 3. We expect some refund but that did not happen 4. WiFi was horrible, almost like it is not there.

Beautiful house and amazing location

We had a wonderful stay at the house! We had a large group and we had plenty of space and everyone had a bed. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The communication throughout the stay was quick and helpful! Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing lake weekend.

We have a private boat launch in the neighborhood less than 5 minutes from the house. The Key to the launch is provided in the house. Onsite boat rental at very reasonable rates is available.
