Wonderful house for a large group to share family time together

The house itself is wonderful and has lots of space for both adults and kids to play and relax without feeling on top of each other, the space works really well and is well equipped. The owner made us feel very welcome and helped with suggestions of what to do in the area, would certainly recommend this property and would stay again.

Amazing family GĂźte

We were a small family group (as we had a couple who couldn’t come) so we didn’t really do justice to the amazing facilities at the property. Everything was there to make it the most perfect poolside holiday - we had a couple of touristy trips out but spent most of our time at the güte. The host, Philippe, who lives next door was amazing with recommendations and help whenever needed. We would highly recommend the Güte de Chabannes to anyone looking for a large fully equipped property for a big family or couple of families.

Un week end en terre du milieu

Une parenthĂšse enchantĂ©e en terre du milieu chez Philippe. De l’accueil, assurĂ© avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et de sympathie par Dominique au dimanche tout a Ă©tĂ© simplement parfait. L’adresse est notĂ©e ! Impossible de passer un mauvais moment au gĂźte de Chabanne.

un endroit magique pour des vacances de rĂȘve. Jardin, maison et piscine ont Ă©tĂ© super bien pensĂ©s : plein d'endroits oĂč se tenir avec la possibilitĂ© de s'isoler, trĂšs jolie dĂ©co, jolie cuisine , jolies chambres, joli " tout"! De part et d'autre de la piscine, une immense table pour les repas et un patio pour l'apĂ©ro ! Toutes les activitĂ©s indiquĂ©es sont prĂ©sentes et cerise sur le gĂąteau, un jacuzzi et hammam Ă  mis hauteur du sĂ©jour. Le lac de St Pardoux Ă  proximitĂ© permet toutes activitĂ©s nautiques. Et un grand merci Ă  Philippe et son Ă©pouse de leur accueil chaleureux.

Des petits-enfants aux grands-parents, nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© ,dans cette belle et spacieuse demeure, la convivialitĂ© et des activitĂ©s variĂ©es adaptĂ©es Ă  chacun(piscine, jacuzzi,sauna,billard,ping pong, etc...) Wonderful stay! An amazing property with superb facilities and outstanding comfort. Fantastic !!!

The gite is really well located- in a calm and lovely village but nearby the motorway and a small town with all stores needed. There are plenty of fun things to do in this beautiful country side. The gite offers also plenty of activities and the owners provide many items that made our stay easy and enjoyable. They are also present in the village and take really good care of their guests. They gave us some great tips about things to visit and to do, including suggesting some typical and good restaurants with great prices. The weather was beautiful with some high temperatures and the pool and the gazebo were used intensively. The farm is very well isolated so it was quite cool inside when the heat reached some peak temperatures. The lake St Pardoux is only 5 minutes away and has tons of great activities for adults and kids, including sailing, fishing, windsurfing, but also a huge aqua center with water slides and a very nice beach with games for the children and adults, including a zip line park in the trees and over the lake... different levels of difficulty are available... great fun! Our two weeks went so fast ! We did not find time to do it all so... we will definitively come back! This place is well worth it and we highly recommend groups and families to experience this great location. The farm id really large and even with 14 persons in our family, we were never on top of each other... This is the nicest holiday home we have ever seen !... Great value!

3 jours inoubliables !

Cher Philippe, MERCI pour ce séjour inoubliable. Notre grande famille a passé un merveilleux weekend dans votre gßte chaleureux et si bien équipé. Pendant ces trois jours, notre vie a été une succession de parties de babyfoot enflammées, de moments de relaxation dans le jacuzzi ou le sauna, de balades en vélo, de parties de billard ou encore de courses d'orientation autour du lac de St Pardoux. Nous reviendrons avec beaucoup plaisir !

Le gĂźte parfait pour un grand weekend entre amis!

Le gßte est superbe avec de grands volumes et trÚs bien agencé pour passer de bons moments en groupe. Il est trÚs bien équipé et offre tout le confort nécessaire. Philippe, le propriétaire est trÚs gentil, à l'écoute et de bons conseils sur les environs. Nous avons vraiment passé un trÚs bon week-end et ne manquerons pas de revenir à d'autres occasions.

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil mit gehobener Ausstattung

5 Sterne fĂŒr das Anwesen. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und ideal zum erholen mit vielen Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten (toller Badesee, Ruinenbesichtigung, Schlösser, Eselwanderung, Schöne Altstadt Limoges, Kletterpark, Zoo...). Der Hausbesitzer Philippe war sehr nett und bemĂŒht unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir und vor allem unsere Kinder wĂŒrden jederzeit unseren Urlaub dort wiederholen. Fazit: Eindeutig weiterzuempfehlen!

Wow, what a fantastic place!

Gite de Chabanne is fantastic. A tasteful and sympathetic barn conversion that combines the history and charm of the original features with every mod con & luxury you could require. Beautiful, exposed original beams sit high above spacious open plan living with two mezzanine floors as well; one containing the hot tub and sauna, the other the pool table. Four comfortable and spacious double bedrooms and a great top floor space with 6 single beds means we all had plenty of space and privacy. The outdoor space was also great with a good size swimming pool, comfortable loungers, covered seating area, bbq and table tennis table. The small town of Ambazac is just a 10 minute drive away where you can find a good SuperU supermarket along with a great bakery and a couple of small bar / restaurants. The bigger town of Limoges is just a short drive down the A20 where you’ll find multiple great bars, restaurants and shopping. Philippe and Jeanne are great hosts and were always available for any advice and recommendations. We had a great time here and I’m sure you will too!

Wonderful gite for large family gatherings

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Gite de Chabanne. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was well equipped for us all. It was perfect for our family of 13. The children especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.Difficult to get them out.! Our hosts Phillippe and Jeanne were very welcoming and helpful - they even did our shopping for us for when we arrived on a Sunday evening. I would recommend it to anyone.

Super séjour pour le Nouvel an entre amis

Nous avons passés 3 jours entre amis pour le nouvel an au sein de la magnifique maison de Philippe, une ancienne ferme superbement rénové! Super agencement entre le salon au coin du feu en contre haut de la cuisine ouverte, la mezzanine avec le billard au dessus et le coin mezzanine sauna/babyfoot/Jacuzzi. Nous avons mangé tous ensemble dans la grande salle à manger. Les chambres lits doubles ou simple, et le dortoir sont pleins de charmes et trÚs confortable pour passer une belle nuit à la campagne. J'y retournerai dÚs que possible, Encore merci Philippe pour l'accueil et les conseils, A bientÎt.

Week-end de rĂȘve!!!

Nous n'avons pu profitĂ© de ce gite que lors d'un weekend (en amoureux) mais ce fut inoubliable. Les prestations offertes surplace sont de grandes qualitĂ© et l'accueil est trĂšs chaleureux. Il ne manque absolument rien dans les Ă©quipements du gĂźte et l'espace remise en forme est plus que satisfaisant. La rĂ©gion est sympa mĂȘme si Ă  cause du mauvais temps nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Je conseille vivement d'aller faire un tour Ă  Chabanne, ça en vaut vraiment la peine. MĂȘme les animaux s'y plaisent... Nous y retourneront Ă  coup sĂ»r! Merci encore pour ce weekend. RĂ©mi Lara et Machin
