Huset vetter mot söder och är därför skyddad från starka nordliga vindar på sommaren.
Apanema villa är en gammal "canava". En liten familj ägs vinpress anor från tidigt 1900-tal. Det ligger i den mycket begärt och tyst Perivola distrikt, en fem minuters promenad från centrum av Oia byn, ett område som ligger nära de största attraktionerna ännu lugn och avslappnad. Villa ligger också mycket nära till huvudvägen och parkering vilket gör det lättillgängligt för gästerna.

Den rymliga villa har en 50m2 privat veranda med utsikt över kalderan med tydliga fri utsikt över vulkanen och Egeiska havet. Det finns också en utomhusjacuzzi.

Placeringen av fastigheten erbjuder invånarna hisnande fri utsikt över kalderan och Oia by i absolut avskildhet, en särskilt sällsynt lyx med tanke på den arkitektoniska strukturen i Oia.

Huset är 80m2 och kan bekvämt rymma 5/6 gäster. Den består av två sovrum, ett fullt utrustat kök och matplats med bekväma sittplatser och ett badrum. (Den har 1 queen size dubbelsäng och 2 vanliga dubbelsängar varav den ena ligger i matsalen / lounge.

Vardags matsalen är ansluten till sovrummen genom en hall, som rymmer en imponerande (ur drift) inbyggnadsugn med anor när huset användes som en familj vinpress på 1930-talet. I köket kan gästerna se glaset funktionen visar gammalt vin reserven i golvet där de pressade druvorna förvarades.

Map of listing somewhat inaccurate...but overall enjoyed the property!

When I made contact with the host with some initial questions after booking, it took 2 weeks to get a response. Luckily we booked several months in advance, but as our travel date grew closer I was concerned this would be an ongoing issue...which it was. I was attempting to arrange a transfer for myself and my friends to get to the villa from the airport, as is standard with Santorini. The DAY I was scheduled to land, I finally got a confirmation from the host. I had arranged alternate transfer as I worried I would not get a response in time. I booked this property because on the map view it appeared to be near where my friends were staying and we all wanted to be close by. Come to find out, this property is on the OPPOSITE side of Oia. The property is about a 4 min walk once the marble walkway ends. You have to walk along the road, which is pretty safe as long as you pay attention to the traffic. It is an easy walk, but we were disappointed when we realized our friends were about a 25-min walk. Overall the property was very clean. They stocked the place with food and drinks for us. The view is incredible. It is very quiet. The pool was heated which was a nice touch in cool September. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bedding was high quality and soft. I would still stay here again, and I would recommend it to people who want to stay a little ways out of town for more privacy. I was given 3 people's contact information should we need any assistance. The "owner" who was supposed to be our primary contact NEVER responded to ANY of my text messages. Response time was slow from the others and caused some undue stress. Luckily I have been to Oia before and knew how to get things done and get to places without their assistance. And just so anyone knows who reads this, one bed is in the kitchen, the other is in the "living" space. There is really only one bedroom in the far back. The shower was nice. There is no washer/dryer.

Impressive location, views and service

The villa is located is the best part of Oía, away from traffic and noice but only 5 minute walk to town. The attention to detail and assistance that the property owner provided took the experience to the next level. We are very thankful to Nick and his staff.

Breathtaking

This property was the icing on our trip. Property owner was very attentive. Arranged transfer to port and made us dinner reservations prior to our arrival for a perfect sunset view. This property was incredible.

Stunning views and Great location!

The Villa is absolutely amazing. It has jaw-dropping views from high up on the cliff overlooking the caldera. We had seen pictures of the place when we booked it, but there is really no way to describe the stunning views when we first arrived. It is really an awesome view – we spent a lot of time on the terrace just enjoying the view. The villa is in a quiet part of the town on the southern edge of Oia, so it is quite peaceful – and just a 5-minute walk brings you into the center of the shopping and restaurant areas. The villa was large enough for our group of 4 – including our 2 grown children. The kitchen area was great – stocked with all the necessities we needed including a coffee maker – it was great to have a morning cup as we looked out to the sea and watched the sailboats and catamarans. We didn’t do any cooking in the villa as we had all of our meals out except for breakfast. The owners had graciously stocked the villa with some essentials to get us started. And there is a great market about a 1-minute walk from the villa to buy food and drinks – including a nice wine selection. The hot tub is great – after some hot afternoons it was great place to relax. We didn’t pick the villa because of the hot tub, but it turned out to be a really nice treat for us and something we think is a very nice addition to an already beautiful place. Anna, Nick and the team were tremendous in handling all of our questions before our arrival and took care of organizing transfers from the ferry port and to the airport while there. They even helped with a trip to Fira while we were there. We have traveled all over the world during our vacations, but the initial look upon arriving at the villa and looking out from terrace to the sea is one of the most memorable experiences of our travels. This villa is an absolutely great place to spend your Santorini vacation. We can’t recommend it enough!!

Amazing property!

Beautiful Villa with everything you need, best of all the large patio with stunning views of the Caldera. Probably one of the most private patios in the area! Close to everything. Nick and his Staff were all wonderful and extremely helpful in every way. Would stay there again!
