Hurley, Wis./ Ironwood Mi. på den vackra 3300 hektar Gile Flowage. Lugn och ro är bara avbryts av enstaka rop en Loon eller Eagle. Wildlife vimlar! Ett bra ställe för familjer och de tysta sport.
Byggd av Amish hantverkare, men med alla moderna bekvämligheter.
3 sovrum incuding ett stort loft, sover 12 (avgifter baserade på 6 personer) 2 badrum. Barn under 5 år är gratis!
Mysig Gasspis värme för de kvällar tittar på snöfall. Plus separata regionkod värme och A / C för din komfort i varje rum! Takfläktar också.
Stort kök: Kyl, diskmaskin, ugn och mikrovågsugn. Outdoor Gas Grill.
Satellit-TV med DVD / Blue Ray-spelare!

Hel källare med tvättstuga. Separat källaren värmekälla för att torka och hänga våta kläder och stövlar. Utomhus dusch för att få bort dammet efter ridning på ATV spår.

Den Gile Flowage är en del av Montreal River systemet, som faktiskt flyter norrut till Lake Superior.
År sedan var Flowage bildas av Excel Energy företaget Hydroelectric Dam i centrala Gile.

Eftersom energibolaget äger faktiskt strandlinje, inga permanenta strukturer tillåts på stranden, vilket ger Gile Flowage sin naturskönhet. Många jämför det med Kanada eller Boundary Waters för sina vackra öar, skogar och klippformationer. Däremot kan vattennivåer fluktuera säsongsvis, men det finns alltid mycket vatten för att återskapa den. Faktum är att denna vattendrivning tenderar att hålla Gile Flowage attraktivt för sin lugn och "tyst" vattensporter.

ANMÄRKNING: Eftersom vår fjärde säsong av hyra vår nya stuga är avveckling, har vi lärt oss mycket och har granskat våra hyreskostnader jämfört med hyresintäkter. Vi kommer ångrigt att behöva höja våra priser något 2019. Satsen kommer att ha säsongsjusteringar enligt följande: Vår / Sommar / Höst: $ 225 / natt för 3 nätters vistelse, $ 200 / natt för en vecka vistelse.
Vinter: $ 250 / natt för 3 nätters vistelse och $ 225 / natt för en vecka vistelse.
Barn under 5 år är gratis!

Wonderful Place with great view

The property was more than our group expected. It had a beautiful view off the back deck looking over the water. The cabin was clean and ready to go. Tom was great with every step of the process and made sure that everything was good after we arrived. Would stay here again hands down.

Great Weekend!

A group of friends stayed here for a long weekend to hit the UTV trails. Overall, it was a great weekend. The cabin was awesome, perfect spot on the lake, along with it being right off the trails. The communication leading up to our stay was great, and Tom even checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going okay. I would definitely stay here again if we went back to that area and would recommend it to anyone! Thanks!

Short getaway

Myself, my significant other, and 2 of our dear friends wanted to be up north for a few days and we could not have found a better place to stay. The cabin and location were beyond what we thought and it was so wonderful to wake up in the morning with the sun rising over the water in the back yard of the cabin. Everytbing was wonderful with our stay and we hope to be back again!

Beautiful and Restful

We had a marvelous time at this cabin! The cove off Giles Flowage was so peaceful and quiet, our kids had the ability to just be without worrying about boat traffic. We brought our own stand-up paddle boards which we used constantly but also used their rowboat for fishing. The fishing here is great with walleye, perch, panfish, musky, etc. With all the kids piled in the loft for sleeping, we couldn’t use the living room at night to chill, but that was easily made up for by enjoying the screened in porch off the back of the house. Even though the house is remote and quiet, we were still close enough to town to seamlessly grab food supplies and bait as needed instead of packing everything we needed at home. Working with Tom was so easy, and he is a fountain of knowledge for the entire area! We’d highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Absolute wonderful find!

The owner was so helpful and quick responding with every question we had about everything from fishing spots to places to eat. The property and cabin was absolutely beautiful! It was fully stocked with everything you need except food, which made the stay so much nicer and easier! Would definitely recommend!!!

Perfect for our Family!

As a family of 5 it is hard to find a place within our budget that has enough bedrooms. We have an adult daughter and 2 teen boys so 3 separate sleeping spaces are a must! The loft was perfect for our boys and our daughter was able to have her own room as well as my husband and I. So nice being right on the flowage with all the comforts of home but the cabin is still very cabiny, if you know what I mean. The boys were especially fond of it at first site! Toma was very helpful, responded quickly and even called when it was too hard to just text! He tried troubleshooting our boat motor troubles with my hubby over the phone but to no avail. At least it worked up until the last 2 days of the trip. We love cooking over the open fire and there was pleanty of wood to do so several days in a row. The beds were really comfy and we loved having lots of extra blankets. We love curling up in a blanket for a good movie! We had great weather but the fishing wasn't great. Caught a few each day but we did not fish early morning or after dark. There was also a mayfly hatch Wed/Thurs. Went to Saxon Harbor and swam in the warmest Lake Superior water I have ever been in and it was clear to see your toes! Had fun collecting rocks there. Little Girl Island Park was another highlight. Rough water but tons of fun and unique rocks to collect. Soaked up a lot of sun at each beach also. My husband and I loved having coffee on the vack porch every morning. The bugs weren't bad until pm.

Perfect Cabin

We stayed for 5 days during February to enjoy all northern WI has to offer. We skied at Whitecap, snowmobiled the Iron County trails and ice fished the Gile. The location of the cabin was absolutely perfect for all of the activities we did! There were 8 of us staying and the amount of space was perfect! The kids loved the loft for sleeping!! The basement was perfect for drying out our wet gear and we enjoyed having a bonfire outside in the evening. Tom is a wonderful host that provided us with great information about the area and all the activities we did. We will definitely be back!

Warm and cozy cabin for a fun skiing weekend!

This cabin is a gorgeous winter getaway! We brought our family up for a ski trip and loved the quaint, peaceful cabin that we came back to each night. Communication with the owner Tom was great and very helpful. We had everything we needed in the stocked kitchen and bathrooms and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Thanks for an awesome weekend!

Great ski trip

We had a great time. This rental was fully loaded from the kitchen to the outdoor activities. It also had plenty of blankets and pillows. Our family took full advantage of the chest of board games. We skied at White Cap Mt and Big Powderhorn. Both were close to this rental. We loved our trip and plan to return.

Getaway week.

Hands down the best experience I’ve had with staying somewhere. The pictures and description does not do the place justice! Everything about the place was perfect. It started with the booking process then the communication with Tom leading up to arrival, checking in and throughout the stay to make sure everything was going well at the house. Will definitely be a repeat visitor.

Serene getaway with amazing views and scenery

All ten of us had a great time. There were times that two baths weren't enough (that was a timing thing); but, we all made it work. Home was easy to maintain while we were there. Nobody got in anyone's way. Living room was large enough for all of us to sit around and play games in the evening.

Picturesque scenery

Walking in, you get a 90 degree view of the water. It’s beautiful. There was an active beaver damn at the end of the inlet. We saw a deer in the morning in the backyard. Quiet getaway with plenty of seclusion and nice rowboat and kayaks for more access to the water for fishing and sightseeing.

Lovely place with comfy beds, soft sheets and such great amenities. The screened porch, deck, boats and fire pit were the best "extras". Great location and super fun for our crew.

Fun in the Northwoods

What a wonderful setting and excellent ownership. We will definitely give this a look again if we are every back in the area. The general consensus among our family members would be to come back and spend some time every year. This property was well stocked with everything you would need to have a pleasant stay and was at a very accessible secluded lakeside location. There were many day trips available for lots of family fun. They only thing that could have made it any better was if the fish would have been a little more cooperative or perhaps the fishermen were a little smarter than the fish. A great time was had by all.

Great place, nice location

The property was really nice and the location was great. The lake was frozen over when we stayed, but I'm sure it's very nice during the spring/summer. I'll definitely consider staying there again next time I'm up that way.

Wonderful cabin!

This was a great cabin to stay at. It was fully furnished and stocked. The owners were a pleasure to talk with and extremely helpful in making our stay comfortable and convenient and helped us get our bearings in the surrounding area. We will be back.
