Delighful familjeägt, klass II stuga, 3 sovrum - 7 sovplatser

Mill House är en byggnad med klass II av historiskt intresse. Rum på bottenvåningen har takbjälkar och alla rum har utsikt över Mill Pool.

Stugan ligger precis vid Mill Pool, en icke tidvattenbäck utanför River Dart mynning.

Du kommer in i huset genom en stenveranda, som leder in i vardagsrummet med köket till höger.

Det finns en liten trädgård på baksidan och en stenlagd terrass på framsidan där du kan se världen gå förbi samt alla aktiviteter på Mill Pool.

Stugan är, även om den är väldigt bekväm och perfekt för en avkopplande semester, väl lämpad för promenader, fiske eller seglingsemester och det finns stränder, kust- och flodpromenader och Dartmoor i närheten.

Crabbing vid kanten av poolen är en speciell favorit.

The Mill House

Our family of 5 had a wonderful short break at the Mill house. I can't fault it. It was clean and welcoming and had all that was needed for our stay. It's situated in a beautiful part of devon and wish we had the weather to enjoy the coastline, unfortunately it rained right through. We will definitely be returning in the summer.

Summer Getaway

From the booking to arrival, stay and departure were easy and straight forward. It is in a nice quite location with all the equipment needed. We had a relaxing stay with friends / family who all said they thoroughly enjoyed it and felt completely refreshed.

Lovely house, great place to stay. Newly fitted bathrooms. Kitchen a little cramped for 7. Location is great, especially if you have kids that enjoy crabbing! Two restaurants and two pubs within easy walking distance.

Super cottage in beautiful location

A very relaxing atmosphere in an excellent location.

The property was clean, tidy and very well presented with all the equipment and inventory required for a relaxing stay. It suited us so much we even booked our next visit before completing this one.

Beautiful house, in a beautiful setting. A real hidden gem is how I would describe stoke gabriel. The mill house positioning couldn’t be better. Everything you want and expect of a chocolate box holiday cottage.

Annual get away

The property was well presented and inviting. We enjoyed the relaxing quiet atmosphere and its location enables you to either relax next to Mill Pond or travel further afield to one of the local seaside towns.

Cottage was nicely appointed , clean and comfortable but the major selling point is it's location. Stoke Gabriel is a beautiful hidden gem, providing the perfect quiet village for a traditional holiday.

Fabulous old cottage, fantastic location

My family and I had a lovely stay in Mill Cottage with great views of the mill pond and very close to the River Shack where we enjoyed meals and drinks. Stoke Gabriel is an idyllic Devonshire village and a must to go and visit! We had great weather which made the holiday even more enjoyable. Will definitely visit again!

We had a” lovely week in Mill House, it’s a very handy place to stay for the Mill pond and estuary , especially if you like paddle boarding or canoeing. House ideal for us as a family with dogs. Great stay.

Comfortable, well equipped ( could do with a couple sun loungers! ) super clean ... great location.

We had a self catering holiday to visit family. We used the cottage as a launch pad for days out to the beach and walks. We enjoyed walks around the village to the pub, the church and the shack. I would definitely visit again.
