Fantastic location

Such a beautiful property in the perfect location! We had a wonderful week in Narbonne and being able to stroll round the historic centre with such ease was a treat. Our host Denis and concierge Antonio were always on hand to help us with anything we needed and having the pool was blissful. Thank you!

Great Place in Under Rated City

Absolutely great place to stay, comfortable and spacious and the host Denis is an absolute gentleman. Took the trains to Bezier, Carcasonne, Toulouse and Aix-en-Provence. Liked them all but still prefer Narbonne for the laid back atmosphere. Definitely be back.

Fantastic central Narbonne stay

The communication from Denis, our host, was great. The historic property had a large open plan reception room leading to the kitchen. Four bedrooms all with shower or bath. Two bedrooms had a WC and the other two share a toilet on the ground floor.The property was quirky and charming with a narrow staircase to the first floor. The central courtyard with pool was stunning. Under cover table tennis and table football too. On site parking.Two minutes walk from the centre of Narbonne with boulangeries and cafés just around the corner. We loved every minute and would recommend this unique property. We hope to return.

2023 French Sojourn

We are 2 couples, one from Australia the other from Canada. Denis met us at exit 37 Narbonne, and guided us to the house. The house was everything as displayed on VRBO website. It was clean, comfortable & well equipped with all necessities provided. In the heart of Narbonne, easy to walk to all attractions. The pool was very inviting, temps in mid 30’s for October unusually high. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. Denis was a great host, easy to communicate with via Google translate( he doesn’t speak English & I don’t speak French). The parking was a little tight for a larger car but doable and we were grateful for the use of the garage. A wonderful week was had by all. Merci Denis. We had

Fitted our needs perfectly

We intended to spend a week in Narbonne, using it as a base. Our goal was to find a property that was very comfortable, had good cooking facilities and which was in easy reach of the town centre. The property met all these, in addition to having a pool and dining outside. The downstairs floor is large and like someone's home. Everything you need - very generous. We used the downstairs bedroom and didn't have to go upstairs. The downstairs bathroom is modern; the toilet though is along a passage way. Upstairs, however, is somewhat problematic, with three bedrooms and an assortment of bathroom and toilet options. The internal stairwell is narrow and steep but our friends coped fine with it. The parking is a challenge. There are a couple of other apartments in the complex but we felt we had the place to ourselves. The photos on the website are quite accurate. The owner provided quick responses to our questions. The apartment is easily large enough for two or more couples. Narbonne itself is great. The market is sensational. Within a couple of minutes of closing the door to the street you can be out in the main square or walking under the avenue of plane trees. If you want an example of quintessential southern France accommodation right in the middle of a lovely town, this might well be it.

Wir (Familie mit zwei Jugendlichen 17 und 15) haben trotz grĂ¶ĂŸter Hitze einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist großartig, extrem viel Platz, der Pool ist ein Knaller, um immer mal wieder eine kleine Erfrischung zu genießen. Sehr gut hat uns auch die Ausstattung der KĂŒche gefallen, von PĂŒrierstab ĂŒber Zitronenpresse bis zu Handmixer war alles vorhanden. Wer gerne kocht, hat hier ein tolles BetĂ€tigungsfeld. Hinzu kommt die unschlagbare Lage des Hauses direkt im Zentrum von Narbonne, 3 Minuten zur Kathedrale, 5 Minuten zur Markthalle, wo man wunderbar einkaufen kann. Obwohl so zentral gelegen, hatte man im Haus selbst aber nicht das GefĂŒhl, mitten in der Stadt zu sein. Denis war ein zudem ein Ă€ußerst zuvorkommender Gastgeber, alle Anfragen wurden immer umgehend beantwortet. Wir können die Unterkunft in jeder Hinsicht unbedingt empfehlen

Große Empfehlung/ superbe appartement

Nous avons passĂ© deux semaines formidables avec deux familles (4 adultes, trois enfants) dans l'appartement de Denis. L'appartement est grand (2 Ă©tages), magnifiquement amĂ©nagĂ© et situĂ© en plein centre-ville. Les restaurants, les bars, les marchĂ©s, la cathĂ©drale et les musĂ©es sont Ă  proximitĂ© immĂ©diate. La belle piscine nous a sauvĂ©s pendant quelques jours extrĂȘmement chauds. Denis Ă©tait un hĂŽte trĂšs sympathique et serviable. Nous y retournerions Ă  tout moment. Wir haben mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, drei Kinder) zwei tolle Wochen im Appartement von Denis verbracht. Die Wohnung ist groß (2 Etagen), wunderschön eingerichtet und liegt mitten in der Stadt, dennoch haben wir vom Trubel draußen oft nichts mitbekommen. Restaurants, Bars, MĂ€rkte, Kathedrale und Museen sind in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Der schöne Pool hat uns wĂ€hrend einiger extrem heißer Tage gerettet. Denis war ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das Objekt liegt mitten in der Altstadt ist jedoch trotzdem sehr Ruhig im Innenhof. Mit ein bisschen Geschick geht es auch mit der engen Einfahrt in die Garage ;-) falls Ihr wie wir viel kocht rate ich eigene scharfe Messer mitzunehmen, ansonsten war die Unterkunft sehr mondĂ€n und großzĂŒgig. FĂŒr uns genau das richtige und sehr zum empfehlen.

Exceeding all expectations

We stayed for two weeks at this very special location with two families, each consisting of two parents and a young adult. It was like staying in the house of friends: very well decorated with a personal touch with plenty of room for each. The kitchen is well equiped for serious cooking, but we barbecued as well. Bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Of course the pool is literally the centre of the house. All in all, this house feels like a home away from home. I'm sure we will come back to enjoy this city palace and everything Narbonne have to offer.

Traumwohnung

Wenn man rustikales wohnrn mag ist man hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist sehr gerĂ€umig, mit allem ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefĂŒhlt. Sie liegt mitten im Stadtkern und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Man kanm alles sehr bequem fußlĂ€ufig erreichen und wunderbar am privaten Pool entspannen. Denis hat uns sehr freundlich mit Gastgeschenken empfangen, die wunderbar geschmeckt haben. Wer mit dem Auto anreist sollte dies nicht mit einem zu großen Wagen tun. Die Zufahrt ist eher fĂŒr kleinere Fahrzeuge. Mit meinem Skoda Kodiac war es als geĂŒbter Fahrer aber zu meistern. Wir wĂŒrden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Beautiful property in the historic centre

A beautiful property in the heart of the medieval city just 100m from the main square, cathedral, restaurants and canal. The property is beautiful with fantastic high ceilings and comfortable beds, sofas, swimming pool furniture. Well equipped. This is not chic (the photographs give a realistic picture), but a real pleasure to stay in such a beautiful building, so perfectly placed. We went sightseeing around the region and beaches every day, enjoyed the refreshing pool on our return and found some excellent restaurants in Narbonne or bought from the closed food market (delicious). The staircase to get upstairs is very precarious and despite 3 bathrooms upstairs there is only one loo in one of the bedrooms. A warm welcome reserved from the host. We certainly recommend.

Un maison pleine de charme et désuÚte

PropriĂ©tĂ© idĂ©alement situĂ©e pour dĂ©couvrir Narbonne Ă  pieds. Quelques bons restaurants sont situĂ©s dans un petit pĂ©rimĂštre. L'accĂšs aux chambres se pratique par un escalier authentique...Donc peu pratique! Mais un autre escalier situĂ© en dehors de l 'appartement permet de rejoindre le 1er plus facilement. Le propriĂ©taire est charmant, facilement atteignable et Ă  l'Ă©coute de nos dĂ©sirs. Un point toutefois Ă  travailler: L'accĂšs Ă  la propriĂ©tĂ© par les rues Ă©troites doit ĂȘtre mieux indiquĂ©, afin d'Ă©viter que le GPS nous envoie dans des endroits impossibles! Dans le mĂȘme ordre d'idĂ©e, il conviendrait de signaler que l'entrĂ©e dans le parking n'est pas trĂšs aisĂ©e.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub in diesem herrlichen Refugium mitten in Narbonne (NÀhe Kanal, NÀhe Kathedrale, NÀhe Bahnhof, NÀhe Bushaltestelle Richtung Narbonne Plage, NÀhe Supermarkt). Toller Pool, mÀrchenhafte Zimmer, Top Ausstattung: man wollte das Domizil oft gar nicht verlassen.

Lieu idyllique qui ne l est pas !

Pas de parkings pour les grosses voitures, rues trop Ă©troites pour manoeuvres impossibles ! Il y a les trois autos de la famille du propriĂ©taire !! Eau de la piscine en plein mois d aoĂ»t trĂšs froide et cour peu ensoleillĂ©e ! Pour arriver aux chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage, un escalier de nonnes !! Pas praticable par femmes enceintes, petits enfants, personnes ĂągĂ©es et handicapĂ©s ! La propretĂ© des lieux est trĂšs relative avec moisissures, salpĂȘtre sur les murs et petites bĂȘtes noires au bas des fenĂȘtres cuisine et salon ! Reste une chaleur Ă©touffante partout mais bonne literie et le patio trĂšs beau qui laisse des espĂ©rances bien déçues je signale que mon mari est architecte longtemps associĂ© Ă  l architecte en chef des bĂątiments de France de Toulouse

Excellent séjour en famille

Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour dans cette propriĂ©tĂ©. Tout y est, tout commence par un accueil du propriĂ©taire est cordial et chaleureux, la location est extraordinairement bien placĂ©e, en plein centre historique de Narbonne. Les journĂ©es s’y dĂ©roulent dans le calme, bercĂ©es par les cloches de la cathĂ©drale Saint Just. Un seul petit bĂ©mol, la fraĂźcheur relative de l’eau de la piscine... Ă  louer sans hĂ©siter!

Une expĂ©rience extraordinaire au cƓur de Narbonne...

VoilĂ  une trĂšs belle façon de dĂ©couvrir le cƓur de Narbonne ... Prenez le temps de vivre dans un hĂŽtel particulier Ă  50 m de la cathĂ©drale Saint-Just ,avec une piscine ,un magnifique palmier .Prendre le temps de vivre au rythme d'une ville du sud,faire ses courses aux Halles et dĂ©couvrir le cƓur historique et le tout Ă  pied. A faire ,Ă  refaire et sans modĂ©ration.

Wunderschöne Wohnung im Herzen Narbonnes

Sehr gerĂ€umige Wohnung mit sehr Zentraler Lage. Die Aufnahme durch Denis ist herzlich und informativ abgelaufen. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, top Ausstattung! Und wenn mal was kaputt geht kĂŒmmert sich Denis direkt darum. Ein Traum ist der Pool direkt neben der Wohnung, der AbkĂŒhlung verschafft. Die Einfahrt in den Hof , stellt sich anfangs als etwas schwierig dar, ist jedoch machbar. Alles in Allem ein toller Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Besuche der Okzitanischen StĂ€dte und StrĂ€nde. Wir hatten das GlĂŒck, dass zu unserer Aufenthaltszeit Konzerte (Festival) in der Stadt stattfanden!
