We spent our 33rd anniversary here. Had the best time. Very clean and plenty of room. Couple of friends came up for 3 nights and used the downstairs area and loved it felt like their own space. In to town is close and lots was going on. We brought our boat and launch was super simple and also within a mile or two. Highly recommend! Hosts were very nice and available if needed. Thank you for sharing your place.

Very clean. All of the amenities were as advertised. The view was amazing. It was like living in the trees. The steps were a must needed challenge my cadiologist must have ordered. Lol. Sunrises are a premium. Plenty of room for five, Highly reccomend.

Family get-a-way

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property; such a great place to stay. We greatly appreciate the fully stocked kitchen and love the updates to the main floor bathroom!

Great stay

House was cleaned well and had everything we needed for the stay. The owner was very accommodating and responded quickly when I had questions. The lake it is located on is nice and the fishing is good. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and it was a nice getaway.

Hayward Fun

Smaller than some of the cabins we have rented but it was clean, nice beds and beautiful view of the lake. The stairs to the lake and back were good exercise. Was a great vacation.

Perfect getaway

Great Stay

If you love the feeling of being near a northwoods lake, then this is the location. Boating, fishing, and wildlife. A one week stay isn't long enough, we wish we could have stayed for two weeks. Our host Andrea was fantastic. Very accommodating, easy to communicate with and friendly. Thanks for the great stay!

Great stay!!

Loved this stay so much, and will definitely be back! Location is incredible! It's close enough to town while feeling tucked away and private. We were scheduled to check in in the midst of a huge storm, and the host was so gracious and generous with helping us navigate that. He was on top of shoveling, salting, etc. and was great about checking in!

Great stay

We had a wonderful time. We always enjoy being on Nelson Lake and the fishing. The house was well stocked, clean and perfect. The owners were very helpful and so nice and came and helped us clean up after a bear got into the garbage outside. We had a great time, beautiful weather and will definitely be back.

Family Vacation

The property was as described. Being able to use our boat that we brought along was very easy and the lake was very nice. The only drawback for us was not having a table that seats 6 for meals together or playing games.

Great location and fun times!

We spent a week here in August- Swam off end of dock-tied 2 boats and a jet ski to the dock easily. There were stairs to water but that was listed ahead and our crew was able to manage without a problem. We used the bunkhouse and appreciated it! Kitchen was well stocked and it even had a crockpot! Hosts were responsive and even called before the week to give info and help prepare! Great value for a great stay!

We had the best time!! Very very clean and has everything you’d ever need!! I’ve seen comments regarding the stairs, however my husband has bad knees and did not have any issues with them at all. Host and hostess were so nice and accommodating and available. Highly recommend. If i could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you for everything!
