Perfect family getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cottage as a family of three, plus our golden retriever. Beautiful scenic view of the lake and very relaxing! We will definitely be visiting again!

Snow globe

We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat.

A Relaxing Weekend Away

We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. The cottage was excellent and very tastefully renovated. Theresa was extremely on top of communication and was great! Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway!!

My husband and I had a relaxing time at the lake cottage. It was so clean and cozy. Far away from the busyness but close to good restaurants and basic amenities. The hosts were very hospitable and we had everything we needed:) The lake and view is gorgeous!!! Thank you!!

Comfort on the Lake

We loved this 1920's fully remolded cottage on the lake. The host included everything one would need for a nice relaxing stay. All the fixtures and features of the cottage are of great quality, and it is tastefully decorated. We absolutely loved the chandelier. We used the kayaks and paddleboat everyday. Looking forward to returning in summer.

Peaceful

Wonderful place, they were very well equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Had a nice paddle boat for use and fishing. Host was very easy to get ahold of and had a binder with a lot of information and carry out menus. We are looking forward to returning

Heaven on the Water

I have been to this property endless times. Magnificent view of the water from inside too. Every time we go, my dog and I do not want to leave. Fortunately, we go twice every summer.

Small, quiet, and relaxing

Everything was as described, and we had a delightful time. The paddle pontoon allowed us to take our small dog to the lake. We will look into returning in the future.

Great place on a quiet lake.

My family and I stayed here in early June and we had an amazing stay. We used the kayaks and the paddleboats to spot many turtles in the lake. It is also very close to Fort Custer and its many mountain bike trails, we enjoyed coming back to the cottage to relax after a long day of riding. The cottage is well appointed, very clean, and comfortable.

25 years ago we bought our cottage on Mill Lake to have a quiet place to go and get away from the busy every day routines. We also wanted our children to have a place to take their friends and enjoy the great outdoors. Our time was split between relaxing and having fun. Our summer weekends were consumed with tubing, fishing, swimming, attending the Hot Air Balloon Festivals, Worlds Largest Breakfast Table along with lots of local attractions. Winter weekends were spent ice fishing, ice skating, sledding and indoor puzzles and games. Thru the years, our family has built many memories on this lake and in town at festivals. In 2012 we purchased and rebuilt the house next to ours. Now our friends and family can also enjoy the area but yet have a private place to stay.

Great location just off the main road with only a 15 minute drive into Battle Creek or Hastings for unlimited activities, shopping and festivals. It is also centrally located between Detroit and Chicago. The lake itself is large enough to have fun on but yet small enough to not be busy or overcrowded.

Being a small, private lake offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Located on the east side of the lake offers longer evenings and views of the sunset. The dead end road keeps the traffic to a minimal. All sports lake offers endless water activities.
