Denna semesterbostad Mendocino med tre sovrum erbjuder en vedeldad spis, två däck med utsikt ��ver havet, ett fullt utrustat kök och gott om plats för sju gäster. Hemmet, dubblerade Chanticleer, är den perfekta konstnärens reträtt för avkopplande tillflyktsort för goda vänner!

Chanticleer är 45 miles från vandring och picnicking längs 45 redwood-coved hektar på Admiral Standley State Park Recreation Area. Du kommer att vara 41 miles från vinprovning på Elke Vineyards, och 37 miles från B. Ryan Animal Preserve. Ryska Gulch State Park och Point Cabrillo är båda cirka en mil bort.

Det fantastiska hemmet har tre nivåer, den övre våningen erbjuder ett badrum, två rum med queen size-sängar och ett extra sovplats med en futon som kan vikas in i en tvillingstorlek. Mellersta nivån erbjuder stora fönster och ett öppet koncept vardagsrum med läderstolar, satellit-TV och DVD- och VHS-bibliotek och spelare. Strax utanför vardagsrummet är en andra hål med en CD- och kassettspelare. Detta hem har också en privat tvättmaskin och torktumlare för din bekvämlighet.

Ät ute tack vare ett omslagsdäck precis utanför vardagsrummet. Matsalen och vedeldad eldstad som påminner om 1970-talet ligger intill vardagsrummet. Ett matbord för sex och fullt utrustat kök kommer att göra måltid förbereda en vind!

Den 2100 kvadratmeter hemmet ligger på 1 tunnland och har plats för sju gäster. Befälhavaren är nere och erbjuder en queen size-säng, eget badrum och sittgrupp med skrivbord, TV och soffa och en romantisk privat däck. WiFi ger en bekväm utökad vistelse, och glöm inte att packa din pooch! Det finns en liten nattlig sällskapsdjuravgift om du vill ta med din hund.

Utanför, njut av välskötta trädgårdar och ett visningsdäck med utsikt över träglans. Kör fem minuter till Mendocino för museer, fina skaldjur och vandring genom Hendy Woods State Park. Oavsett om du spenderar dina dagar ihop med elden eller går barfota längs stranden, är detta tre sovrum Mendocino semesterbostad det perfekta tillflyktsortet på havet!

Magical, authentic artist home with beautiful views and a great large room to hang out in. The garden was beautiful and it was a 10 minute walk to hikes. The property manager was very responsive to a small issue with the heater and had it fixed in two hours.

Bliss on the beach

Beautiful views!! The house was Mendo eclectic which is why I picked this property. Aged home yes but cute in the details. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, however we did need more seating in the living room with the kitchen chairs. The beds were just adequate, but i do like a softer bed. The dishwasher never worked wich kinda sucked honestly because even the dishes in the cabinets were dirty & i hate washing dishes. Overall it was a great visit seeing my family that lives on the coast & I would definitely recommend this rental even with the slight inconveniences.

Visiting your Grandparents Coastal Cabin

The view, deck, indoor fireplace, time-capsule wall decor & the neighborhood are all 5-Stars. This house back in its prime must have been dynamite! A MCM frame that feels like you are inside of a senior living home with no visitors for over a decade or 3. A musty smell that the ocean air removed with open windows and doors. Not a speck of dust to be found, very clean though.Major needs: Comfortable seating, how does one have a vacation home without comfortable places to relax? Mattresses too, old box springs that made my body toss and turn for three nights straight. I’m typing this while chugging enough coffee to get me through the drive home, the early 10am checkout it really to bad too. I have redesigned this rental one hundred times in my mind while staying here. What these walls could say from its’ early years! I love it for all of its needs but be aware this is not your place to relax, glad I brought my own office chair to use at the dining table for work. Kitchen: tiny & efficient. Needs a few wooden spoons and proper stemware. Also, the smoke detector it placed so close to the oven and stove that it went off even while toasting bread & should be moved. I would happily volunteer to live here and be this sweet old home’s caretaker, it deserves one. I hope this place can be restored and lived in properly one day, it is special.

Holiday get-away with family

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving holiday (a little early) at this property and mainly booked it for the windows and view. The property is more like an updated cabin than the photos show, but the home was spacious and comfortable for our group of seven. The upstairs has very little insulation so sound carries very, very easily (be forewarned if you have a person who snores in your group). We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal complete with desserts in the kitchen with relative ease. The huge windows were perfect for reading and relaxing during the rainy weather. One person in our group was able to work remotely during our trip and the wifi was more than adequate to support their video conference needs. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood close to both Mendocino and Ft. Bragg.

Great location for Mendocino county trip

This lovely ocean view property was very close to both Fort Bragg ca and the town of Mendocino. The listing talks about steep stairs to all bedrooms- if you are mobility challenged may not be for you. We left our suitcases down stairs and only used upstairs for sleeping. The whole place gives off a cabin vibe which I loved. If you are looking for something fancy not for you. The art work through out is amazing and was fun to look at—overall good value for the price

It is worth it

Beautiful views. Comfortable and welcoming home with appealing artwork throughout. Older cabin style house which shows its age and would benefit from some minor upgrades.

Mendocino Holiday

Overall, cabin was nice. Negatives: couches were small, enough for 2 people sitting upright with legs straight in front. Most furnishings looked like they came from a garage sale. Kitchen table at bench on one side necessitated by small space, but uncomfortible for older adults getting in and out. 3 levels. 2 bedrooms very small. Walls were more like thin partitions to create bedrooms. Made it easy to communicate easily with anyone anywhere in the house from any room. TV small and viewable only from 4 seats. Small counter top space. No garbage disposal. Bedroom (tube) TV had built in VCR player. Some people may need to look up what is a VCR player. No smart TV, but had HDMI connection for laptop. Positives: Clean. Excellent location- quiet neighborhood, nice view of ocean from living room and one bedroom. 2 miles from a nice beach. Dog friendly but no yard to play fetch. We probably won't return there, but I can see that it may be good fit for many. Also internet streamed well.

The Best Time!

We loved it here! Great location and the house was perfect for the six of us who stayed there. Lots of space, great fireplace, great view of the ocean. An older place, but so full of character. We had a great time!

Nice Place, Nice Price, Needs new Door & Window

Pros: gorgeous neighborhood, great views, lovely garden. Cons: steep narrow driveway. VERY Hard to get out (can't make a U-turn! Very scary. Big window in kitchen doesn't close or lock. No screens on the windows (we could not get rid of 3 pesky flies for 3 days). Steep stair case to get to the bedrooms upstairs. Steep stair case to get to the master bedroom below (this was hard on our bad knees). Back door to deck from living room does not close or lock (single pane, big cracks in frame). Anybody could have come in from the front or back (no need for a key)! No large bowls (for salad or pasta), not enough mugs, plates chipped. Bed not that comfortable. But, it was a BEAUTIFUL area & view.

Great location

House was as described in all the other reviews. The only other thing i would suggest is to bring your own hair dryer as there were none in the bathrooms. Any questions or comments were returned in a short time.

Beautiful location

This house was not quite as updated as the pictures show, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying every minute. We all slept very well and had plenty of pillows and blankets. It got warm during the day and cool at night, but opening windows and then using the portable heaters at night made it perfect. We had everything we needed except for a washer , which was broken at the time. I understand a new one is ordered. Thanks for a great stay!!

Broken

We booked this property so we could do laundry midway through our travels. Arrived to find washing machine broken and according to property management it had been broken for some time , ceiling fan - broken, dining room chair- broken leg. Couch-broken, end table broken. We ended up spending most of one of our "sightseeing " days and money in a laundromat watching the drier spin! Beautiful and peaceful setting but poorly managed and maintained. We did not come with unrealistic expectations we just expected basic things to work.

Beautiful, peaceful, house with ocean view

If you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful house with ocean views, this is your place. The house is close to parks, town but still in a quiet location with beautiful ocean views. My wife and me brought the whole family and the house was big enough for all of us. I cannot recommend this house enough. I can hardly wait for my next vacation in Mendocino!

Filthy cabin

When we entered the house it was unswept, cobwebs on the baseboards, the entire house smelt of fish, the dishes all had a greasy film and all the cabinets had crumbs in them. The oven mits were filthy with dried food still on them! The house itself was ok but there was an overall feeling of unwelcomeness.
