The area is beautiful but too far out of places you need to be or visit in Barbados. Not easy to get a taxi from there and itâs very expensive because itâs far. The house is new with lots of potential only if the owner was someone that actually cares about quality. The house was super dirty when we arrived. It smelled molding and had lots of roaches. The property manager did not even bother to let the air in before our arrival. Kitchen is not clean enough. We had to wash all the dishes, glasses and utensils before using them. They were of a very poor quality, rusty and greasy. The linens were stained and towels did not smell good. They were all worn out and not clean. We had to buy all the cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom because it was not clean. Terrible pillows and one of the AC was not working on the first night. We had to sleep in the heat and she did not return that one night that we had to sleep in terrible conditions. She feels entitled to come to the house whenever she pleases. Her attitude is terrible. We left the house clean and in a much better condition that we found it. She charged 490 after we left claiming that some forks and knives were missing. The stained towels that we found when we arrived and that we did not even used, she claimed it to get money out of us. She never provided a list of counted utensils, therefore she should not claim it after. Clients should be aware of that before hand. We ate only one time at the house. Be aware of this place.
