Klassiskt 3 våningar hus med solig trädgård byggd 1903 och kärleksfullt restaurerad 2010. Bottenvåning och kök renoverat år 2018.

Promenera till det vackra 1700-talscentret med många restauranger, barer och affärer på mindre än 5 minuter och ett stort snabbköp på bara 3 minuter.

Förutom alla museer, Anne Frank House och de många andra historiska och turistiska platserna som erbjuds i och runt Amsterdam, är denna plats också perfekt för närliggande dagsturer till världsberömda världsarvslista Zaanse Schans, Volendam och Keukenhof.

En naturpark 'Het Twiske' med sjöar, stränder och (segel) båt- eller kajakuthyrning är bara en 10 minuters bilresa bort. Kuststränderna i Zandvoort och Bloemendaal på en kort 30 minuters bilresa.

På bottenvåningen hittar du entré med toalett och handfat, vardagsrum med bekväma soffor, matbord för 8 och stor LED-TV, fullt utrustat öppet kök med espresso- / cappuccino-maskin samt dubbel-dörr i amerikansk stil kyl / frys.

På första våningen hittar du 2 sovrum vardera av 16m2 eller 170 sq ft. Ett sovrum med en king size-säng, vacker antik soffa och plattskärms-kabel-TV, det andra sovrummet med en högkvalitativ dubbel bäddsoffa. Också på denna våning finns ett lyxigt badrum med extra djupt badkar, promenad i regndusch, handfat, uppvärmd spegel och toalett.

Den andra våningen har 2 sovrum eller 20m2 eller 215 sq ft. en med en queen size-säng, soffa, kabel-TV, delat badrum, regndusch, toalett och handfat. Det andra sovrummet har också en queen size-säng, litet sittområde och tillgång till samma badrum. På denna våning hittar du också tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

En rymlig fastighet på 165m2 eller 1800 sq ft. i förorten Zaandam på en 12 minuters tågresa från Amsterdams centralstation. Den lokala järnvägsstationen ligger mindre än 5 minuters promenad från huset.

"We had a very enjoyable ...

"We had a very enjoyable week-end in this lovely house, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The surrounding is very quiet and nice. The train station is located very nearby with very convenient direct connections to Amsterdam. Even closer you can visit the traditional Dutch windmills on the Zaan. A very nice experience to be repeated."

R&R in Zaandam

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Zaandam. The location was great...the train into Amsterdam was an easy walk from the house...and it was close enough to the high street (grocery store, shopping, eateries, etc.) to make it convenient but not so close that we could hear it. In fact, the neighborhood is quiet...and quite charming. The house is well furnished, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the hot water never failed us (4 fifty-something adults). Communication with the host was easy and I received responses quickly. I would book this property again in a heartbeat!

Quiet location a quick train to Amsterdam

We loved this property. I stayed with my parents and my 11 month old son and it was lovely. The property is on a quiet street within a quick walking distance to restaurants and shops in Zaandam. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station and a quick 15 minute train into Amsterdam. It was nice to be in a quiet area after spending time in the busy streets of Amsterdam. The kitchen and living room was a great space and has a door to close off from the stairs which was perfect with a young kid since the stairs are quite steep. Having laundry and the travel crib there was great with the baby and the kitchen is well stocked. Would recommend this to anyone planning a trip.

Eine ruhige Auszeit …

nahe des Trubels in Amsterdam. Das Ferienhaus liegt ideal als Ausgangspunkt, um Amsterdam und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Auch Zaandam lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das gemütliche Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet neighborhood

This historic home was a quiet and well-equipped retreat for our family's first visit to Amsterdam. The neighborhood provided easy access to Amsterdam and other areas of the Netherlands by train but was in a quiet residential setting. There were nearby grocery stores and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. The washer and dryer were a big help. The Zaandam neighborhood itself was fun to explore and had several canals. The hosts were very helpful with details for a smooth check in and check out. We felt right at home- thank you!

Fabulous House and Location

Loved this beautiful home in Zaandam! A wonderful 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home that gave us the opportunity to spread out. It is a short train ride from the airport and Amsterdam. Zaandam is a fabulous town with fantastic restaurants. We truly loved our stay here. The only downside is the very steep stairs but we knew that before renting the place and so glad we did not let them deter us. Highly recommend this home!

Wunderbares Haus

Es war ein sehr toller Aufenthalt. Das Haus war sauber und in einer top Lage. 5-10 Minuten zum Bahnhof und ein Supermarkt war auch in der Nähe. Jederzeit wieder.

Sehr schönes Haus

Wir haben uns zu siebt hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus bietet reichlich Platz und ist ideal für ein Wochenende in Amsterdam, das man mit der Bahn in 15 Minuten erreicht.

Superschönes Ferienhaus, perfekt zum Entspannen.

Das Ferienhaus lag in einer ruhigen Gegend sodass man sich gut entspannen konnte. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren in 3 min zu Fuß erreichbar und haben alles geboten um im gemütlichen Garten ein bisschen zu grillen. Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Location,location,location!

Our 6 person family had a good experience at the property and really enjoyed leaving the busy city of Amsterdam behind and looked forward to returning to the quiet location. Train service was excellent and easy. The beds were comfortable. We were unable to get the oven functioning and I would recommend improved lighting downstairs and a handrail for the bath. Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to getting our damage deposit returned! Tessa and Jack

Schöner Urlaub mit 8 Personen

Das Haus war schön und die Lage sehr gut. Mit der Zug waren es nur 2 Haltestellen nach Amsterdam Central. Ein paar Reperaturen müssten noch durchgeführt werden, aber das wichtigste wie Küche und Bad sind sehr schön.

A get together get away

Lovely property in a very quiet area, but close to the shops and local bars and restaurants in Zaandam. Everything you need is there and communication with Pelle & Viktoria van Hall the owners was relatively quick and easy. Easy walk to train station with a 20 minute ride into central Amsterdam and the trains are regular with usually plenty of spare seats. The train from Schiphol Airport goes straight to Zaandam and if you get the sprinter service it’s a quick and cheap way to get to and from the property. A super place for 3-4 couples to spend a long weekend away and enjoy what Amsterdam has to offer and not ignoring Zaandam itself which is a vibrant place with good night life and a great fresh produce market for when you want to eat in. Highly recommend.

Lovely row house

Our family of seven had a nice stay. The house is not far from the metro, groceries, and restaurants. Stairs are steep with two bedrooms on the third floor. It was hot when we visited in July and the upstairs got up to 33 °. There are small fans in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are nice. The kitchen has everything you need.

Staying in Zaandam

Wonderful stay in Zaandam. House very nice in a Beautiful area. Be prepared for steep stairs compared to North American standards. Great to have grocery store a close walk away. Also short walk to train station and restaurants and stores.

Base for Touring The Netherlands

Excellent, roomy, comfortable property for families or larger groups! Online listing very accurate. Owners always responded in timely manner, check in with Farah was great, she's extremely helpful! We used the home as our base to tour The Netherlands. Visited Amsterdam, Gouda, Utrecht and Den Haag. 10 minute walk to Zaandam train station making all touring extremely easy. Much better pricing than trying to find something comparable in Amsterdam city center and only 2 train stops from Amsterdam Centraal station. Very highly recommend!!!

It was great for our trip and family

First Holland Trip and Definitely Will Go Back & Stay Here Again

Ok where do I start. I'm travelling to Holland with family of 8 and we're all first timers. We arrived early before check in time and Pelle is ok for us to drop our luggages then stroll around the house. We were greeted by Farah who had been very helpful and super informative about the house and surrounding. Back to stroll around, the house is very close to many restaurants at zaandam centrum including the supermarket Albert Heijn. Well, supermarket is everything to us, we can buy vegies and meat then cook it at the house. Their kitchen is amazing, their cooking utensil is more than what we need. The house is located at nice housing area, there's a playpark in walking distance as well as ducks in the river, so if you bring kids along with you, you guys will have many fun activities together. The interior itself feels like home, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and feels too soon. I like the room on the leftside at the 3rd floor, it's just sooooo Europe. We fully commute with public transportation and their access to public transportation such as Zaandam train station and bus is very close. If you ride the train, it only took 15 minutes to Amsterdam or around 20-25 minutes to Schipol Airport. I have nothing to complain but just a note that the stairs are steep. Should be careful.

Super Haus in ruhiger Lage

Tolles eingerichtete Haus in einer ruhigen Lage. Zur Zugstadion Zaandam sind es nur 5-10 Minuten Fußweg und man braucht nur 20 Minuten bis man am Hauptbahnhof in Amsterdam ankommt. Preis für die Unterkunft ist auch voll in Ordnung und ein guter Standort um sich Amsterdam anzuschauen. Vor Ort hat man einen Supermarkt sowie einen Square wo man wunderbar essen gehen kann oder Abend etwas trinken gehen möchte. Farah die uns Empfangen hat war sehr freundlich hatte uns das Haus gezeigt und wie alles Funktioniert. Ebenfalls bekamen wir super Tipps wo in Zaandam der Punk abgeht. Diese Haus ist weiter zu Empfehlen und würde es jeder wieder mieten.

Incredibly convenient and easy access!

Thanks to Belle and to his hostess Farrah - the house was perfect for our needs! A quick walk to the train station and we were in Amsterdam at the Centraal Station within 11 minutes. No need for a car once in town. A quaint gateway to all the Dutch character you want without the big city right at your door step. I highly recommend this house!

Great location. The house was very nice and close to all necessities.

We enjoyed our time in Zaandam and the house was very nice. We did have issues with the washing machine not working. As we were there for 10 days this was most inconvenient. Fortunately, the owner organised to have another one installed, but only after persistence by us.

We work both in Amsterdam and in Basel, Switzerland. Since we spend a lot of time traveling for our jobs and we can't be in two cities at the same time, we thought we might as well rent out our properties and let other people enjoy them also.

When we go away we mostly rent private places. We love to have the space and privacy that many properties offer. Nobody telling you at what time you have to come for breakfast, no housekeeping knocking on the door and no one trying to reserve chairs by the pool.
