Vacker, 5bd / 3bath hem med utsikt över bergen frÄn 3 nivÄer.
Denna vackra timmerstuga Àr perfekt get-away för familj eller vÀnner. Sover 12 bekvÀmt + en sovande för upp till 2 mer: Master bedroom med kung, ytterligare 3 sovrum med dubbelsÀngar, 4 pers med drottning över drottning vÄningssÀng och bÀddsoffa en 5: e rum om det behövs i vardagsrummet.

BekvÀmt att Smoky Mountain nationella delen, Burg, Pigeon Forge (Dollywood). Kort dagsutflykt till Cherokee casino eller Biltmore House.

Vi utövar kontinuerlig förbĂ€ttring. 2016 avslutade vi en större renovering. Under 2017 bytte vi fönster och ytterbeklĂ€dnad. År 2019 byggde om dĂ€cket. 2020 om allt gĂ„r som planerat skulle jag vilja omvandla övervĂ„ningen till övervĂ„ningen till 2 privata badrum för övervĂ„ningen.

Mycket att göra med biljardbord i spelrummet, fantastisk badtunna, massor av rockers för att lÀsa och bara koppla av, svepa runt verandan, platt-TV i alla rum och stor projektor i multimedia rum. Massor av vilda djur vi ofta se en familj av rÄdjur och ibland kommer vi att se en svart björn och hennes ungar.
År 2016 rediderade vi husets utsida och bytte ut nyckelfönster.
VÄra grann datorer 3 pooler, golfbana och för större hÀndelser möjligheten att hyra utrymme frÄn trakten HOA kontor högst upp pÄ berget.

Vi köpte den hÀr fastigheten i slutet av 2015. VÄra vÀnner kallar vÄr ombyggnads en ombyggnad som vi har rensad 3 nivÄer för att ta 1970 stuga i 21-talet. det var mycket pÄfrestande och allt tog lÀngre tid Àn förvÀntat. Vi försöker hela tiden förbÀttra fastigheten.

Bear Necessities Cabin is a great place to stay

Our stay was wonderful. The house is lovely and in a quiet neighborhood. The drive wasn't bad even in the snow with our 2wd car. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect mountain vacation!

We had 13 people stay for vacation, 3 little kids and 3 big kids. Beautiful mountain scenery, even the black bear visitors on the first day were enjoyable, as they just passed through to say hello! Home was decent size for our group, a big kitchen and usually enough seating when we gathered everyone on the main floor. The bathrooms could use a little work, but overall great accommodations.

Family 4th of July Trip

Overall everything was great. Very clean property and nice to have gates and pack and plays handy. The pool was a nice touch for the summer month. I would have loved a list of food locations that delivered and a few more rocking chairs but overall great experience and very responsive host which is always great! We even got to see a bear which was pretty cool!

Very clean and homey!

The cabin was so clean and homey. Everyone LOVED the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. We come every year to Gatlinburg as a friend group and we’ve slept on some pretty terrible beds, these were by far the best! The driveway was a little tricky and we did a lot of car scraping on the bottom in the beginning but got the hang of everything by the end of our stay. Overall fantastic time!!

Great location with views

Cabin is located in a great location with views. You can also easily get to shopping and attractions. We like to play pool and darts. I would recommend getting some new cue sticks and setting up a new dart board with darts. Kitchen was nicely stocked to cook a large meal and big screen was nice for watching football. Ed was very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Perfect cabin for our varied group!

This cabin couldn't have been better suited for our wide age range. We had a newborn on up to 60 year olds, with most in their 20's, and we were all comfortable! There was plenty to keep the college kids happy when we weren't off finding adventure with zip lining, rafting and hiking! Plenty of bear sightings but no damage or scary encounters! What a fun long weekend to finish the summer and launch a new school year!

Cobbly Nob Gem

Great property, great owner. Many upgrades in place and underway. Property is located in the Cobbly Nob subdivision, which puts it in a beautiful area adjacent to the National Park, free swimming pools, good golf (I literally walked down the hill- but not back-to golf) and more. Yet, less than 15 minutes from the circus of downtown Gatlinburg and nearby Pigeon Forge . It is our favorite area to stay, as the views and options will beat anything downtown if you are looking to do something more memorable than just shop.

Amazing getaway in a cozy but fun cabin!

Had an amazing stay at this property. In my group there were 10 of us total and there was plenty of space for everyone. We deff spent most of the time either in the kitchen (which was fully stocked with all dishes and cooking material) or downstairs in the theatre/Pool table área. We won’t had 2 vehicles and the driveway was perfect with 2. I would say 3 vehicles fit comfortably but 4 might be too tight depending on size of vehicle. 10/10 reccomend and would deff come back!! Thank you!

a great place to stay, we enjoyed it very much!

My family and i stayed at the bear necessities cabin for a week to enjoy the nature and attractions at Gatlinburg. We were worried that the house didn't have a lot to offer for kids like a true game room, but just being outdoors and having tv, Internet and toys they enjoyed the time at the house very much. The community pools are kind of a hike from the house itself and were very cold water for me but my husband and kids loved the temperature. We could tell the owner of this house has spent quite a bit of money making it nice for guests and he quickly responded when ever we had a question or issue. You will see lots if wildlife if you stay here, including bears, deer, birds, squirrels, and all types of insects. My younger boys loved it!we highly recommend choosing this great home for your vacation

Not what it's cracked up to be...

There were a lot of good things about our stay and the property - beautiful setting, convenient neighborhood. We even saw bears!! However we felt like many things listed in the description were not accurate - for example, the hot tub was basically unusable because the cover was broken, the pool table and dart board in the basement were in terrible condition and missing equipment (couldn't use either). The kitchen could use some serious TLC as well - we had 9 people staying in the house and there were only 7 forks!! We made the most of it and still enjoyed our stay but we probably would not return.

Wonderful family vacation

This was a perfect home away from home for our family of 6 adults and 5 kids! The property is well stocked from kitchen utensils to bath towels. We stopped at Publix in Pigeon Forge for groceries and essentials as the prices were a bit better than the local supermarket. We saw a mama bear and her three cubs almost every night and the kids were thrilled ( from a distance, of course). We hiked, walked and one day at Dollywood (the kids favorite). It was quite warm (90+) and it felt great to come back to a nicely cooled home. The owner provides a book with instructions/locations for everything. Checkin was super easy as well as checkout. Thank you Ed for sharing this great home with our family. Great memories were made to last a lifetime. ❀

This place was beautiful! For our first time in Gatlinburg AND for our wedding, we were very impressed! The check-in process was very easy. There were enough mirrors and space for the ladies to do their hair and makeup. The drive can definitely be scary for some, but very doable. Parking appears tight but we were able to park up to 4 cars with no issues. The cabin itself was beautiful and spacious! We were able to have a nice small reception with our family. The view is incredible, especially on clear days -- we were also able to see some bears walking by! My only negative feedback is that it could be cleaner and that you can hear everyones steps from all over, otherwise fixable and just a minor thing! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We all had a great time!

The property was very clean. As someone else mentioned, having more rocking chairs on the deck would be appreciated. We spent all our time there. Having extra forks was another need. The easiest way we found to get into the driveway was to go past it, turn around at the next intersection, and then enter from the other direction. We were able to get five cars in the driveway. We saw three different bears and a woodchuck, which was fun. I loved the island in the kitchen for all the extra space for seating and for all the food we brought. The kitchen is well stocked. Appliances were all new, clean and worked well. The place to take trash was in the driveway and it was always picked up, which was appreciated. We loved the place because it was further out from Gatlinburg. It was private and quiet. Trees surround you except for the view of the mountain. It rained a lot but we still sat outside on the deck underneath the roof outside the living room. It really was a great place for 10 people!

Not worth it at all.

Upon our arrival we were very excited, up until entering the house. The first 3 hours of our stay were spent sweeping dust bunnies, dog hair and dust on all levels as the place was so very dirty in addition to the cob webs we had to clean up as well. And sadly rewashing all linens due to stains and sketchiness of the looks of them. We even had to send a family member to the store to purchase a swiffer mop to mop the floors because all of our feet/socks are black on the bottom due to poor cleaning/no cleaning at all. We had a 1 year old that is crawling and we didn’t even feel he was safe to be crawling because his legs were black the first 10 minutes..Another downfall was not being forewarned about the pool being closed and walking there to be told it was closed, sadly that was a large incentive as to why we chose this place, so that was very saddening. Even felt that because of the lack of cleanliness the house endured, that the hot tub was also not taken care of so we decided to forego using that
 sadly. And lastly, there was a dead squirrel in a light fixture that we had to get out because of how poor the smell was
. Just very displeased as this is listed as a “luxurious” house. We wanted to advise/express this to the owner on the first day before leaving a poor review but after contacting him he did not take ownership of the wrongs.. Having to do hours of work upon our arrival that should have already been taken care of and amenities not being available to us was disappointing. And hopefully you don’t have more than one car because parking is horrible.

Great getsway

We had a great stay.. beautiful house. Will def be back.. I will say I tried contacting the property management company about extending our stay and didn’t get a response. But the owner was great and responded back and took great care of us! The bears were icing on top of the cake so cute and enjoyed watching them play

Birthday get away

Hey! We enjoyed the place. It could have been cleaner. We did contact the owner, and he sent over some cleaning supplies. Which helped. I do appreciate his quick response to helping us.
