Casa Romero är en nyligen renoverad 100 år gammal familj hem med ursprungliga vigas och 20 tum tjocka adobe väggar. Detta romantiska, charmiga hem är en vacker och fridfull hem som verkligen är ett hem hemifrån. Bara en 15 minuters bilresa till Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort, och 10 minuter till Pecos Wilderness Trail Head, Carson National Forest. Taos, New Mexiko 20 miles away, och Santa Fe, bara en timme bort.

Vårt nyrenoverade hem har behållit sin ursprungliga charm med moderna inslag, såsom hand slipat trägolv, nya exklusiva apparater, bänkskivor i granit, soaker badkar w / jets, egenbyggda dusch och fällbara soffor läder.

Kök fullt utrustat, 6-lågig spishäll vägg ugn, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, öppnar för en privat portal för utomhus äta, grillning och avkoppling.

Sovrum med dubbelsäng på bottenvåningen. Litet sovrum med dagbädd är perfekt med familj med barn. Tredje sovrummet, på övervåningen, har egen utanför entrén, stort vardagsrum, drottning säng, och 1/2 bad. Den angränsande balkong ger en fantastisk utsikt över det majestätiska Jicarita Peak och omgivande öppna fält.

Great Vacation Spot

We loved staying here! There was room for us to spread out and it was close enough to Taos and skiing areas. The only thing to mention is I wish there was a door unstead of a curtain to the main bathroom. Great stay, would book again.

Beautiful home!

The only thing that could have been better is if I had headed the words of the host, “use his written directions” do NOT use your GPS. We drove in at night, it’s hard to see out there at night. The GPS had us on the other side of the mountain, at the end of a dirt road. The host came out in his truck to come and try to rescue us. Very kind.

Beautiful updated home

Very beautiful home w great kitchen and nice appliances. Very clean and completly stocked with all you would need. Will come back and stay again. A little out of the way but close to Sipapu ski/ summer resort. About 30 minutes to Taos and hour to Santa Fe.

Wonderful Christmas Trip

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The upstairs was great for our 3 college boys. We will definitely be back to visit. Great location to Sipapu. We also made the drive to Taos one evening and it was a nice drive from the house. Great host!!

Cozy and Well-Stocked!

We had a wonderful stay in Penasco. The cottage is cute, cozy, and has everything you need for a visit of any length. The kitchen is well stocked as are the bathrooms and laundry. Internet is fast if you need to do some work or school. Easy drive to Sipapu and hiking trails; Santa Fe and other attractions are about an hour or so away, but the drive is very scenic. Highly recommended!

Quiet Mountain Escape

This property was a great place for our small family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, a young aduly and 2 grandchildren under the age of 4 to stay. There were a total of 5 adults and 2 kids. We brought our own hand soap and paper towels because in most places that stuff isn’t provided, but there was not only hand soap, but laundry detergent, and shampoo available. Check in was easy and when some stray puppies wandered into the property the owners were quick to respond. The view from the patio was beautiful every morning and the landscaping was immaculate. We definitely would consider staying here again.

Great place to escape city life and noise

The property is beautiful; there is a creek that runs in front of the property, you are surrounded by nature and no city noise or lights. The furnishings are top notch and the owners have provided everything you need.

Perfect for our Ski Trip

Our family of six loved staying at this house! It was only a 15 minute drive to Sipapu ski resort, and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The little ones loved having their own bedroom (off the master bath and small, but perfect for them) and the older kids enjoyed the upper loft room and hangout area. The master bedroom was cozy and the jacuzzi and heated floor in the bathroom was awesome! The owners allowed us to check in early and were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!
