We absolutely loved both this house and its location.The house itself is large, and really well equipped- with everything we needed to be comfortable for 2 full weeks.Bedrooms were comfy. Good beds, a choice of pillows, and crucially, every room had blackout blinds and/or electric shutters so you could make it as dark as you needed for a good night’s sleep.The living area was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed.Pool was a great size and depth, even if the weather didn’t always play ball for pool days!If there was one tiny minor thing it’s that the showers didn’t have holders to allow you to stand-up for a shower. We solved that with an 8 suction holder from Amazon… worked a treat.Port-en-Bessin itself is a beautiful little town with loads of restaurants, an amazing “shell beach”, a good supermarket and a weekly market ( night market through the summer)Can’t recommend it all highly enough!

Propriétaire très très sympathique, souple sur les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Facile à contacter. Emplacement calme et agréable dans un beau village, très bien aménagé, il ne manquait rien. Belle terrasse avec piscine chauffée, propreté impeccable, grandes chambres, 2 belles salles de bains, grand salon et cuisine très pratique. C'est la meilleure location que nous ayons eu. Je recommande totalement.

A wonderful family holiday

A spacious, very well equipped and comfortable house with everything we needed for a wonderful three generation family holiday. The owner was very welcoming and most accommodating. Location is perfect for the landing beaches, Bayeux etc. This was our second visit.

Maison agréable avec piscine très bien entretenue. Emplacement calme. Wifi très bon débit. Maison qui nécessite un système de rampe sécurisée pour accéder à l étage pour les personnes

Villa en Normandie

La villa est bien conçue aussi bien pour un séjour entre amis que pour venir avec des enfants en bas age, il y a toutes les commodités et plein de jeux pour enfants et adultes. Le village est agréable et pour les amateurs, les poissons et les moules sont excellents! Autre point positif l'endroit est très calme, les nuits sans bruit. Mais on est en Normandie avec un climat normand!

Traumurlaub in der Normandie

Tolles Haus mit wirklich allem, was man braucht. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter/in. Die Umgebung lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir selbst kommen auch ferne wieder.

Excellent séjour en famille ...

Nous avons passé 2 semaines parfaites dans cette spacieuse villa, idéalement située au calme pour profiter tranquillement du jardin et de la piscine chauffée. Excellent accueil de Mme Simon qui nous a même permis d arriver quelques heures plus tôt. Lits faits, linge de toilette, draps de plage et délicate attention, tout y est... Il ne manque vraiment rien dans cette maison pour un séjour parfait en famille avec notre chat. Très belle région à découvrir , même la météo était bonne! Adresse à conserver.

Excellently equiped stunning spacious property.

Stayed here for a week with family and friends, our baby and our dog. The house has everything you could think of! There are bikes, indoor games, outdoor games, the heated pool was clean and warm and such a nice thing to have on a relaxing holiday with your family. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need!! We asked prior to our visit if there was a high chair for our baby, the owner replied saying no as his children were now grown, upon arrival the house keeper (absolutely lovely lady), took us to the living room and shown us a brand new high chair they had been and bought just to accomodate for our baby.. that was a lovely gesture and much appriciated. The port itself and surrounding areas have everything you need and more. Some stunning views over the bay. The golf course has 2 courses and is absolutely stunning to play on, the views on the beach course are outstanding!! All in all we had a wonderful time and we will certainly be visiting again in the future. Thanks Nicolas. Kind Regards Lee.

Excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété où rien ne manque. La piscine chauffée très appréciable après les balades ou le golf. Maison très confortable au calme. Un grand merci à Mme Munerel pour son accueil et sa gentillesse et qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. Nous reviendrons surement…

Belle semaine !

Maison spacieuse et lumineuse . Lits faits à l'arrivée. Piscine chauffée à 27°a permis de faire quelques longueurs . La localité est jolie sous le soleil avec un grand marché le dimanche matin.

Leider kein geheizter Pool, sonst aber wie beschrieben

Ein wirklich gut ausgestattetes Haus in perfekter Lage. Ein Paradies für unseren Hund mit leinenfreien Spaziergängen direkt aus dem Gartentor auf den Golfplatzwegen mit viel Gelegenheit zu Hundebekanntschaften. Leider war die Pool-Heizanlage defekt und es war sehr schwierig und langwierig hier den Vermieter zu erreichen. Die Anlage wurde erst am vorletzten Tag unseres Aufenthalts repariert, so dass wir von 14 Tagen lediglich an einem einzigen Tag einen angenehm geheizten Pool nutzen konnten. Sehr Schade!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

Das Domizil liegt ruhig am Golfplatz. Die Betreuung war außerordentlich nett und problemlos. Wir haben uns sofort Wohl gefühlt. Es gab keinerlei Probleme.

Frustrating and disapointing experience on our 1 week rental...

Nice house, comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately we CANNOT recommend it. For the first time ever in our lives we’ve had a very bad experience with the house (just bad luck!) and the owner (really difficult). We’re sorry to share this bad review but hope it helps others in the future. The 2 main reasons why we rented it were the heated pool and because it was close enough to arrive to enjoy a bit of our first evening with the kids, unpack, etc and put them to bed at a reasonable time after a long trip. Sadly none of that was possible. Despite asking the owner to confirm (and he did in writing!) both before and after doing the booking, that the pool would be heated and ready to use on arrival, we found a dirty non-heated pool that was only fixed and heated 2 days before we had to leave, sad with three small kids (oldest is 4!) who see the pool but cannot use it. SAnother problem was that the owner had committed the house to the previous tenants until 7 pm on the day of our arrival and he forgot this when he rented it to us, only remembering to tell us when we were already on our way.This meant that despite waking up the whole family at 4 am to take an early ferry and getting there at 2 pm, we could not check in until 7pm. The children were exhausted, the house was dirty (nothing had been cleaned as we literally waited outside the door until the previous tenants left) and we were really frustrated. These 2 reasons led us to ask the owner for a financial compensation. We tried to communicate tirelessly with him (he is not very responsive) which is the last thing you want to do after all this. He finally offered a 10% compensation which we argued was unfair. After days of not answering our messages through the website we sent 1 text to his mobile and 1 email asking him to please answer. He finally did asking us to stop “harassing him” and said that we were trying to take“financial advantage of an unfortunate situation”. He also blames us for breaking a glass in a bathroom which is not only FALSE but also how can he blame us (and not the previous tenants?) when no inventory check was done in between (who allowed us in didn't have time to do it but said it wouldn't be a problem). We still haven’t received our deposit back (left 13 days ago). We feel extremely frustrated and unprotected. Just hope nobody else go through this type of experience during their precious holidays.

Fantastisch

Zeer compleet en comfortabel huis, werkelijk alles is aanwezig! Fijn zwembad. Vriendelijke ontvangst (spreekt alleen Frans maar was voor mijn geen groot probleem). Mooie tuin, rustig gelegen. Loopafstand naar het centrum van Port-en-Bessin.

Port en Bessin, c'est bien !

Location conforme au descriptif, literie de très bonne qualité. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de chaises longues pour tout le monde. Environnement calme, proximité du centre ville et du super marché. Accueil chaleureux de Mr Morice, disponible et réactif en cas de problème. Le point négatif : Mr Simon est très difficilement joignable ( par sms, téléphone ou mail), il nous a fallu plusieurs semaines pour finaliser le contrat !

Très belle villa parfaitement équipée.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Port en Bessin. La maison est très bien équipée, propre, rien ne manque pour passer des très bonnes vacances. Piscine chauffée très agréable pour se détendre après les visites. La petite de ville de Port en Bessin est très agréable et est située à une distance raisonnable de nombreux sites touristiques de choix. L'accueil de M. Morice a été très chaleureux, et il s'est gentiment montré disponible pendant la durée du séjour. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Absulument parfait

Jolie maison dans un clos privé,proximité commerce et port. Maison moderne super équipée et superbe piscine chauffée. Idéal pour visite de la région ( débarquement , mont st Michel). Certainement à relouer....

Sommerurlaub 2013, Familie mit Hund

Ein sehr schönes, toll eingerichtetes Haus. Absolut empfehlenswert. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Es ist absolut ruhig und am Abend kann man direkt von Grundstück aus auf dem Golfplatz spaziern gehen. Auch in den kleinen Ort kann man laufen. Nur der Sandstrand ist nicht wirklich in der Nähe, was aber nicht weiter stört, da die Normandie nicht die Gegend für Strandurlaub ist.
