Beläget mindre än en mil väster om Barcelonas hamn precis utanför Route 5 i en lugn lantlig miljö. Nära till ett litet skogsområde med en trevlig väg till en vacker privat strand. Vi är direkt i hjärtat av vinlandet och en kort bilresa till Chautauqua Institution som erbjuder konserter, teater, världsberömda högtalare samt 2-18 hål golfbanor. Också ligger i närheten av Midway Amusement Park, Panama Rocks och Peek n Peak samt många andra intressanta platser. Stugan är fullt möblerad, inklusive sängkläder. Det rymliga större sovrummet har 2 fulla sängar. Det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng. Det finns 1 badrum, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, komplett kök, matplats och vardagsrum som har en drottning utdragbar soffa. Stugan har kabel och internet och hyror från lördag till lördag.

the area was nice and very close to Westfield for any of your last minute needs! The cottage was clean, comfortable (AC) and welcoming. All our entertainment needs were met (games, cards, dice and array of television options. The town was quaint and we visited a local antique store.

Just Loved Our Stay!

I almost hate to say how much we enjoyed our trip! The house was clean, cute and comfy! The host left the door open and the key on the table. From then on, we were at home! Comfortable beds, great cable and my golden was in heaven. This house is close to a private beach and we enjoyed the beach during the morning walks looking for sea glass, to sunning in the afternoon and finally spectacular sunsets every night. We were not ready to leave! Picked pears at local farm, went to Farmers & Artisan Market on Saturday. We will definitely be planning a return trip!

Cute cottage

Cottage had everything we needed. Very cute. You could tell it was a little older with some structural and construction details-but that didn’t matter to us. Gave it 4 stars for cleanliness only because Dale thought we were coming the next day and didn’t have a chance to do a thorough clean-everything important was nice and clean though-but there were some cobwebs. Love the beach! Thanks for a fun weekend!

Wonderful stay

My family and I love our stay at Dale’s cottage! Great distance to the private beach! Our family loved the beach and was excited for a campfire at the beach! We’re definitely planning to stay here again! Thank you Dale for the local suggestions and for a wonderful stay at your awesome cottage!

Lovely Lake Cottage

We had a fabulous time at this lovely cottage. It was truly a short walk to a semi-private beach where we spent hours collecting beautiful sea glass. We enjoyed a campfire along the path to the beach where a fire pit with seating and ample firewood was available. The home was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and provided a recommendation for where to get fresh fish to cook at the cottage. We only wish that our stay was longer. We hope to return!

Erie was great!

We loved staying at the house. It has a beautiful path to the rocky beach where we fished for steelhead and looked for beach glass. It’s easy to get around the area and a great base camp if you’re day-tripping to Buffalo, Erie or Niagara

Fern Cabin

We had a very relaxing time and the cabin was very comfortable. The location to the lake and to Erie and Jamestown was just right. Would stay there again if coming back to the area.

Wonderful Stay

Quaint cabin in perfect location and short walking access to Lake Erie. Besides being so close to the lake the accommodations were close to Westfield, the Barcelona Lighthouse and the public beach & boat launches (5 minutes max drive). WiFi was easy to connect to along with Smart TV for access to personal streaming apps. The Matthews were responsive to inquiries in a very timely manner. AC units available, but hardly had to use - Great Lake breezes.

Family Time

My sister and I were looking for somewhere to stay close to Steel Run Campground. Another sister was camping there with her trailer. Your cottage was cute, clean and very accommodating. Very thankful that you have A/C and fully stocked! We would like to book it again next year!

Comfortable Cottage by the Lake

Dale’s cute cottage is a great place to stay to relax and enjoy the lake. It’s clean, quiet, with updated amenities, comfortable beds, and all the comforts of home. Only wish our schedule this trip to Westfield would have allowed us to spend more time right there. We’ll look forward to another stay when we can do just that.

Great stay at this cottage by the lake! Loved the property & the little path to the water. The beach had tons of awesome rocks! Lots of skipping rocks going on. Dale was a great host & very attentive to any questions that came up!

Dale Mathews är värd

We have lived in the area ever since we got married in 1989. We both grew up coming to the beach here as kids and in fact the house that we live in was a seasonal family cottage that we have turned into a year round home. We have always loved it here and we have 6 kids and they all also love it here.

We bought this property because it is right next to our home. We feel that we are very blessed to live in such a beautiful place and we love to share it with others.

Our cottage is in a great location. It is very relaxed here. We have a small wooded area and a private beach which is really one of the best in the area. There are also so many things to see and do within a 30 mile radius of us. Also since we are right next door we are we will do anything we can to make sure your stay is memorable and enjoyable.
