Det finns en queen size-säng i sovrummet och det finns en bekväm futon ute i vardagsrummet. Det finns Wifi och kabel-TV, så du kan hålla kontakten medan du är på semester. Vardagsrummet / matsalen har en platt-TV och DVD-spelaren har streaming kapacitet. Det finns gott om plats att parkera din lastbil och båt och också en bekväm uteservering för utomhusfisk. Unexpected Adventures in Clamming

We had originally come to the coast for hiking and whale watching but due to the cloudiness, we had to get creative. My husband, our puppy, and myself instead opted for clamming, renting tools from the Netarts Garden RV Park. Though mucky and chilly (and our lack of proper attire) we met so many kind and helpful locals, and we were able to harvest a few clams, cockles, and gapers. Though cleaning them was a quite intricate process, they all went very well in a beurre blanc sauce. The accommodations were very cozy and the view from the deck was beautiful.

I mistakenly locked myself out and Sarah was able to open the door remotely in short order.

Great Spot

My wife and I went down for a couple of days crabbing, it was the perfect spot. Great view, clean, plenty of extra supplies, great bed. Even talking to Bill who was remodeling the house behind was fun. Will go again next year. Tim & Joyce, Deer Island, OR

Great weekend getaway!

Great location and only minutes from the beach. We had never been to Netarts and we were pleasantly surprised but the beauty and tranquility of the area. The Retro Retreat was quaint and cozy. Well stocked throughout including kitchen spices etc. Perfect for a couple and two dogs. We would certainly stay there again.

Cute and cozy

Great chill spot. Met the cool neighbor Bill working on his house out back. Good communication with host. Great view from windows. Pretty darn close to the beach over in happy camp. My one disclaimer would be if your a light sleeper or are annoyed with noise from upstairs tenants than make note that it’s pretty loud at times. Probably just due to the construction but it worked out fine. It’s just loud at times.

It was a cabin like experience for sure! Very cozy and intimate spot with great views. Supplied with all the utensils you could need to cook a nice romantic dinner while watching the waves !!

Small but met our needs. Owner needs to supply a blanket. Had plenty of sheets and towels but no blankets. Other than that kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have a washer and dryer.

This really is a cozy little place, and a bit funky. We really enjoyed it. I wish it had a king bed but that doesn't happen often in rentals. Also, the shower is pretty small but functional. The staff that we dealt with at Shore Thing Vacation Rentals were great.

Overall a lovely place, a couple bummer things

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It really was a lovely spot and a cozy place with a great view. There was a great kitchen with lots of essential spices and such. The not smoking rule seemed fine, until we were there and didn't want to go out on the street to smoke pot- which is illegal and there really is plenty of property to smoke on the safety of the property and far away from the building. It felt unsafe and inappropriate to have to smoke on the street. The other bummer is the fire pit, which is awesome to have, but would have been so much more pleasant without a blinding spot light in the yard.

Therapy week

I stayed in the lower apt. with Boone, Ruby and Porter. Retro Retreat is very cozy and comfortable. The Kitchen is well stocked. The view is beautiful. The only negative is you can hear the people in the above unit moving around. This was not a big deal as they were pretty quiet. I was more concerned about my dogs disturbing them. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice cozy stay, no easy beach access

We had a nice time staying here- very cozy getaway for my husband and I. Tv was great and heaters worked well. VERY hot water! A couple things to be aware of that I didn’t realize from the listing- the close water access from the house is to a boat dock on the bay. Great if you want to go crabbing! But to get to the regular beach is a 10-15 minute walk, and you need to go back to the highway then turn down another road. We were also asked a sign a third party waiver which was fine, but I always prefer to know about that before booking a listing.

Lovely location

Place was in a beautiful location. As the post mentioned, the house is old and you hear the people in the unit above. That being said, the couple in the unit above us were really sweet. Great location. Just a short walk to the beach. The place hasn't been updated in quite some time but it was VERY clean, which is more important to me. Plenty of room for parking and the outdoor area is well kept. They also provided binoculars which was a nice touch. I watched the seals in the bay and tons of birds as well.

We had to use the pull-out couch for sleeping and it's outdated, uncomfortable, and very lumpy. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed, and the bathroom was sufficient. The shower stall was very small and located outside the bathroom in the laundry room. The location was nice, right along the water, quiet, and peaceful.
