Det som Àr bra med detta hus Àr att det Àr nÀra till stranden och att pÄ grund av badtunnan, tÀckt veranda och moderna bekvÀmligheter Àr det ett utmÀrkt stÀlle att regna eller skina. Jag strÀvar verkligen efter att kontinuerligt förbÀttra detta hus och göra min gÀstupplevelse bÀttre och bÀttre. Jag avslutade just min senaste runda april 2019 med ett helt nytt badrum och VVS i hela och det blir allt trevligare. Höghastighetsinternet, ny badtunna mars 2014. Bra stÀlle att fly frÄn Portland och fÄ ditt arbete eller studier gjort. Stranden ligger tvÄ kvarter bort. Sjön ligger ett kvarter bort. 50-tums platt-TV, Apple TV, DVD-spelare, Nya levande möbler juli 2016, kabel, stereo med IPOD-anslutning, grill, bambusgolv, nyare sÀngar. Kök med bÀnkskivor i granit och snackbar. Ganska varning om att golven Àr lite vÄgiga pÄ platser Àven om de Àr strukturellt sunda. Matrumsbord 8 platser. UtmÀrkt för barn med barn. TvÀttmaskin, torktumlare, bad av mÀstare med nyare Sealy Posturepedic drottningssÀng och 560 gÀngrÀknearken och en mysig duntÀcken med Percale Duvet. Tredje sovrummet har en vÄningssÀng med en ny Sealy Full Size Madrass pÄ botten och en tvilling uppÄt. Du kan se Twin Rocks framför kabinen. Nyare kanallös uppvÀrmning och A / C-enhet. TvÄ kvarter till den bÀsta stranden i Rockaway som ligger direkt framför Twin Rocks. Parkering för en husbil pÄ sidan. Fantastisk simning och fiske i Spring Lake som ligger ett kvarter bort. Bra bÄtliv mindre Àn en mil bort i Lytle-sjön. Garibaldi ligger cirka 4 mil bort med tillgÄng till Ocean Fishing. Mountainbike 1/2 mil bort. De flesta husdjur Àr bra med en extra $ 35 stÀdavgift. TvÄ natt minst 75 $ Äterbetalas stÀdavgift. 100 $ Äterbetalningsbar deposition. 7 personer högst. 3 dagars lÀgsta minnesdag.

Great get away in Rockaway!

We loved this quirky and charming property! Perfect for our little group and two dogs. The two adjoining bedrooms were perfect for us and our daughter. Kitchen was great, and plenty of space in the dining area and living room for meals and playing games. TVs and WiFi were great. Nearest beach was lovely and steps away and the hot tub was perfect at the end of a long day. We loved that it was dog friendly with a fenced in yard! Looking forward to booking again sometime for a longer stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. This place has great amenities...hot tub, fire pit, fenced yard for the dogs, and easy access to the beach. It was the perfect get-away!

Pleasant retreat!

Very pleasant, well stocked place to stay! Tom's recomendations were spot on. Pirate Cove was a nice place with very good food and the ancient cedar right down the street was a cool sight to see! We had fun and were very pleased with our accommodations!

Lovely coast rental

Perfect Little House

Great price! Cozy accommodations! Wished the hot tub worked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had pretty much everything we needed. The only downside was that the hot tub was not working properly (no real heat and the jets didn't turn on). We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

Yes, the house itself is imperfect, but it is clean, comfortable, and has some nice touches. Hot tub is great, as us backyard and front porch. Comfortable beds, nice appliances, plenty of kitchenware and linens. This property manager has done a great job anticipating the renters needs. Easy access to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed a week and it was great.

Location, location, location.

Tom’s place was perfect for our family including our pet. Short jaunt to the beach, fenced in yard, and awesome hot tub. We will definitely return here for our annual beach vacation to Rockaway. Would return, and did!

This was my second time staying here. You have to cross the highway to get to the beach but it's pretty close and the neighborhood doesn't have loud traffic noises. It's the least expensive place we could find that allows dogs and has a hot tub. Everything was clean, comfortable, inviting. The hot tub was well balanced (I work in that industry and so did thoroughly check before getting in)! The property manager seems pretty laid back. We had a great couple of days.

Late March 2023

This place was perfect for us and the dogs. Short walk to the beach, in a nice quiet beach town. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We bought seafood at Garibaldi and ate our meals at the house. Not an issue for us, but one thing to be aware of, if you have mobility issues this house may be a challenge, tight bathroom space and some uneven transfers between rooms. Not sure why, but there were no forks or spoons to eat with, other than left over plastic from takeout. We would definitely stay here again, the positives for us far outweigh any minor inconvenience(forks).

My Mistake

This was my first time renting a house for three adults and a five year old. It’s way more than we needed. If you had multiple couples with kids, dogs and some drinks by the fire. It’s perfect. The perfect beach house, 3 blocks to sand on your toes! Hot tub and fenced yard!

Everything exceeded our expectation! Very clean! Hot tub was WONDERFUL! Fully fenced back yard. Close to everything! Very short 3 block walk to the beach!!! House is well stocked. Games, puzzles and a record player! With some great records! We listened to a little John Denver while relaxing in this incredible beach home! Fish and chips and chowder at the Oregon Smoke House, WOW! Yummy!!!! We heard Ricks roadhouse is a great place, but didn’t make it. Great atmosphere at Lakeside Hideaway. Got my gamble on and had some great drinks! For shopping, Warehouse 10 is an absolute must!!!!!

Average beach house

This beach house provided what we needed. It is an older outdated house. Smaller than expected. Was crammed with 5 people wouldn’t want to try to squeeze in 2 more. Limited number of towels and kitchen supplies. Stove did not work well. Wavy floors is an understatement, structurally the house is falling apart. Hot tub was nice. Neighbors are friendly.

Cute but lumpy

It's a cute little house, just 5 minutes walk from the beach. If you are not paying an arm and a leg, then this rental is a great value for what you get. It's dog friendly, and smells as such. The backyard is great. The whole house creaks loudly when you walk through the kitchen (the central room of the house). Everything in the house is clean and orderly. Someone installed granite countertop, which caused the entire kitchen to sink about 2-3 in, so the floor is uneven (notice ADA). The living room is well lit and pleasant to hang out in.

We found 2 bedrooms 1 with queen room was of. The 2nd room was set up for kids with bunk style bed and my 5 ft 3 adult daughters feet hung over the end. Bath tub would hardly drain so we were getting ready for a family wedding standing in others bath tub water! :( steps on back deck loose and dangerous. Kitchen floor really close to going all the way through due to rotten subfloor! It was clean. But uncomfortable stay!

Great time. Great location! We enjoyed access to nature. There was sand in the hot tub when we opened it. We tried to clean it out the best we could. We are interested in staying at the other rentals as well. Thank you!

Wonderful little home away from home

This place is a cute little vacation rental with plenty of room. There was a bit of dog hair but that was mentioned in the ad so we knew ahead of time. No complaints here. Hot tub worked great and the detailed instructions were very helpful. Thank you for the nice stay away.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Rockaway is a great town with a good selection of fun shops and restaurants. This property is close to the beach and in a great spot for multiple adventures with the kids or a special someone.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I love hanging out on the front porch while it's raining. It's nice to relax in the hot tub after a walk at the beach. The high speed internet makes it a great place to work or study away from home for not too much money. Beds are super comfortable and everything you need is provided to have a relaxing vacation.
