Huset ligger i West Wittering och byn East Wittering ligger bara 10 minuters promenad / 3 min bilresa bort.

Huset har nyligen renoverats till en mycket hög standard, det är lätt och luftigt med golvvärme, en timmerbrännare, integrerat Sonos-ljudsystem, 4K-TV och massor av köksredskap inklusive en Quooker-kran, drycker Kylskåp och Neff Kaffemaskin, kylskåp frys- och tallriksvärmare.

Det finns också en kajak och flytvästar för olika storlekar för barn och vuxna som du kan använda gratis.
Alla användare av kajaken måste bära en flytväst.

East wittering by har många butiker som erbjuder en mängd lokala bestämmelser inklusive 2 traditionella grönaffärer, 2 slaktare, 2 bagerier, 2 stormarknader tillsammans med en mängd olika kaféer, takeaways och restauranger. Det finns en stenstrand i slutet av vår väg (2 min promenad!) och West Wittering Blue Flag stranden ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa bort (20 min promenad) och East Head naturreservat med miles av vit sandstrand och sanddyner är också lättillgängligt.

Det finns ett brett utbud av vattensportsanläggningar på 2XS belägen vid West Wittering Beach, inklusive vindsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, paddling. Parkeringen West Wittering har också en butik och ett kafé och gör att du enkelt får tillgång till East Head naturreservat.

Segelfaciliteter finns på Chichester Marina, Itchenor SC, Bosham SC och Apuldrum SC. Cobnor aktivitetscenter i Chidham har också ett bra barnaktivitetsprogram.

Det finns också bra fågelskådning vid RSPB Medmerry naturreservat nära Earnley.

Inbäddat i South Downs National Park, är Goodwood bara 11 miles bort och har den världsberömda Festival of Speed och Revival tillsammans med flera hästkapplöpningsarmaturer inklusive "Glorious" Goodwood. Den historiska muromgärdade staden Chichester ligger 8 miles away med sin fantastiska katedral, teater, film, utmärkta butiker och en direkt tågförbindelse från London till Victoria (85 minuter). Kör österut på A27 så hittar du Arundel med sitt slott och Brighton bortom. Väst är Portsmouth med sin historiska varv och utloppshopping vid Gunwharf Quays

Fantastic!!!!

The house and position are fantastic!!! Everyone in the party were so thrilled with the property...an easy walk to the beach, shops and fun!! We all had such a great time. We booked the annex too which had so much room, a little kitchette and lovely en-suite........ all was superb .... Esther couldnt have been more helpful when booking ... book now!!!

Wonderful space and location

Our families had a fantastic week at the beach, this was the perfect location. It’s a lovely open space with several areas for kids and adults to relax in.

The perfect house in the perfect location

We booked the house for our family reunion and had the perfect week at this beautiful house. Esther the host was very responsive with communication before we flew in from USA and had left us some food and drinks after our long flight in which was generous touch. The house is beatiful with lots of rooms and space for us all. Its in great location right next to the beach and lovey walk nto the town..The town itself is perfext it had so many great shops. For food and drinks. And Chichester is a shirt drive away. We would highly recommend this house for laege familie, it is well stocked with lots of kitchenequipmentand we hope to sttay thre agon nexr Winter. .

Beautiful stylish coastal home

Esther was the perfect host, very responsive and really helpful. The house is stunning and in such a great location, literally 30 seconds from the beach! The house was spotless and had absolutely everything you could need. It was the perfect base for a girls weekend away - we didn't want to leave!

Great location and house for a family holiday

A wonderful spacious house which was ideal for our extended family holiday which included four children under 4 and a dog. Lovely garden and terrace which was in full sun during the day and plenty of room for the little ones to play. The host Esther was always available if needed.

perfect by the beach home

We had a fantastic stay in this house with our three children and another family. The house is really nice inside and outside space too, has everything you might need, and is right next to the beach. A spacious very well equipped house in an excellent location just yards from the beach, kayak, paddle boards ,wet suits etc, plenty of outdoor space and furniture. All you could need for a wonderful beach holiday. East Wittering has everything you need in the way of shops, restaurants etc. We absolutely loved it.

Lovely house in wonderful location

Large and spacious house with all the features you need for a comfortable stay. There were 7 of us and the place could readily accommodate 9 (10 if one is under 2). You can see the sea from the front gate and it is literally a 90 second walk away (note - East Wittering is pebbly at high tide, but West Wittering has lovely sand and is a 6 minute drive away). Esther, our host, was readily available, was especially helpful and gave us some excellent help and advice. We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this property for a great family holiday.

Perfect long weekend

The house was just what we wanted . Perfect 4 days stay . Didn’t use the car once . Weather was wonderful . Swimming , paddle boarding , walking , family diners , beach picnics , pubs , fish and chips . Comfortable beds , hot showers , outside seating . Open plan living worked so well . Highly recommended.

Totally amazing!!!!

The house is so well appointed, it has everything you could ever need and more, the communal spaces are so comfortable and make it so easy to have the best time ever...good work with the wine fridge too!!! I really can't speak highly enough about this house, I didn't want to leave ...ever!!! We will be back, that is for sure!! Thank you Esther, for having such impeccably good taste and for sharing your beautiful home with us xx

Seaside break

The property was lovely very well equipped. Host very accomadating with equipment for the children Lovely outside area with plenty of seating. Initially we booked the house only but due to the ages of the 3 youngest children we realiised we would also need the additional annexe in the garden. The downstairs bedrooms were off the main entertainment area and too noisy for sleeping children so we had to pay an extra 700 pounds to accomadate our group. The annexe can not be let out at the same tiime Felt it could have been included the price or at least discounted as we had already paid over our budget for the main house. padditionallunfortunfortunately

Blissful Weekend

I picked this house due to the location having visited this seaside town as a child and had fond memories. As memories go, this weekend provided some wonderful new ones. This house is simply stunning, it has been renovated to the highest standard, with no expense or detail spared. The Owner Esther was very friendly & accommodating, from the time of booking to being on the end of the phone during our stay. The house is stylishly modern, but has retained some charming features throughout. The house is just yards from the beach and walking distance to local shops & restaurants. I could not recommend this house highly enough and we will most definitely be returning.

An ideal holiday home for a three generation family holiday by the sea.

Coombe Cottage was ideal for us and we all felt it was one of the best holiday homes we had been to.. Esther had made it home from home and her attention to detail was very evident. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and there was ample space for all 10 of us to sit round a table, both inside and outside. We particularly enjoyed the integral coffee machine and the instant boiling water tap. There was plenty of space in the fridges and freezer so we didn't have to shop to often. The open planning worked very well and we were never on top of one another. Last year in Wales there was a TV in each bedroom but it was a better holiday only having one downstairs and the music system was fantastic. The bedrooms suited us all and everyone slept soundly. The garden was great for relaxing in and the kids could have ball games etc beyond the low hedge. The outside tap was extremely useful for rinsing sand off the wet suits, kayaks and even my crutches and wheelchair! The Kayak was much enjoyed and it was so easy to take down to the nearby beach. We had a great beach orientated holiday Thank you Esther for your great cottage and also the welcome flowers, eggs, biscuits milk and wine

magical getaway

Gorgeous place, everything you could wish for and once again (this was not our first stay!) the weather played ball and made the short break seem like a long, wonderful holiday. Our manager Esther couldn't have been more helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure we had just what we needed. Thoroughly recommended (...but don't take our slot!).
