Hello, my name is Jane, I settled here many years ago after meeting my then husband to be, Manousos. We will be your hosts at Evriali. Together we have worked in the service industry as well as cultivating olives to produce olive oil.
Now we have completed our project to build Villa Evriali. The name is taken from Greek mythology. One of three sister mermaids, Evriali means âwide seaâ. A fitting name for our villa as the location provides an amazing vantage point drawing your gaze out from the bay of Plakias to the island of Gavdos on the horizon.
We recognize that your long-awaited holiday is something special and we aim to help as much as possible to make your stay a memorable one. We are not on site but close at hand in the village of Mirthios which is perched up behind Plakias 2.5km away.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
Plakias, still relatively undeveloped by todayâs standards, has a charm all of its own. Having arrived you will already have noticed how diverse and in places rugged the terrain is. Whether you exit the Kourtaliotis Gorge or the Kotsifou Gorge on the way to Plakias the sense of openess is both refreshing and calming.
The property provides an ideal place for our guests to de-stress. Close enough to have all the amenities of Plakias just 2 minutes away (by car) while the distance allows for more privacy.
Set amongst some of our younger olive trees the house has a minimal appearance allowing nature to make its impact on you.

As a new build we used an eco friendly panel for the walls thus maintaining a cooler interior in summer and retaining heat in the colder weather. A/C provides warm/cold air when necessary.
Located a convenient 35km from Rethymno through the Kourtaliotis Gorge, Evriali is an ideal base for exploring the region, or relaxing, close to the organized beach of Plakias-one of several in the neighbourhood.
The open free-flowing floor plan makes this property equally suitable for families or a group of 3 couples. Maximum of 6 persons.
The tranquil location and tasteful decor create a residence that will provide the guest with an unforgettable stay.
Ever thoughtful to ensuring a good nightâs sleep there are Dunlopillo mattresses and pillows on the beds.
