The home was clean and included everything needed for a week at the beach. The purpose of the visit was attendance at a wedding at a Swansboro venue. Each of the four bedrooms had its own bathroom that facilitated the eight members of the group getting ready to attend the wedding events. The golf cart was a welcome amenity in transporting the group to wedding activities held at other rented homes in the neighborhood. The deck featured many rocking chairs enjoyed by group members mornings while waking up, drinking coffee, and planning each day’s activities. The pool also got use by under members of the group. All members gave the home high marks.

We had such a wonderful time this week! The location was perfect, and we made so many great memories. We explored Bear Island with a ferry ride from Hammocks Beach State Park and also drove out to the Point, which we absolutely loved. We spent a couple of days there just soaking it all in.We found plenty of shark teeth and huge shells, and the kids loved playing in the tide pools while exploring. The highlight for a few of us was getting to see the sea turtles hatch. We stayed out until 11 p.m. three nights in a row, hoping we would catch it. Since it was nighttime when they finally emerged, we had to look closely, but it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we’ll never forget.Thank you so much for helping us create even more wonderful memories! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Perfect home for an Emerald Isle vacation

This is the perfect home for a beach vacation. Everything was great and as advertised. Bonus perk is that you can walk to get pizza, ice cream or visit Gaffer’s for live music. 10/10 place to stay.

Beautiful home, great location, great pool!

We loved the location of this home right off of Coast Guard Drive, and loved hanging out in the pool. The beach was a 10 minute walk or you could take the golf cart. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.

Family Time

The house was perfect for our group. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water. It does need a new grill, but we improvised and just cooked inside. Our family that lives in NC really enjoyed picking us up in the dock.

Great July 4th vacation

Location was walkable to the beach but the golf cart made it easy to transport chairs, cooler, and children to beach. Pool was great and kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Only problem we had was the door closest to the elevator would stick and be hard to open or close.

This house is beautiful and the location is great! We loved the size and the layout! It was perfect for 6 adults and a toddler. Plenty of bedroom space for all of us. Room to gather together and to spread out for quiet time if needed. The kitchen was well appointed with what we needed for cooking meals, and the grill was a plus! The golf cart is an absolute luxury for getting to the beach access path, and we loved having a pool right in our backyard!!The house was clean, but not immaculate. We noticed dust under furniture and on ceiling fans, etc. It seemed in need of a deep clean. The pool, also, needed to be vacuumed. Sand had accumulated on the steps and in some of the corners. We addressed this with the host (after our stay), and they promised to follow up with the house and pool cleaning staff. Also, this VRBO has joined the trend of asking more of guests upon checkout. This was the first time we have ever been asked to strip our beds and make sure all dishes were clean and put away before leaving. This is not necessarily a deal breaker, but be aware that it is in the rental contract if you plan to rent this property. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!
