2024 family vacation

The house is very spacious, we had 7 adults and an infant. There was plenty of room to gather as well as areas for quiet. Short walk to beach / ocean from the house allowed multiple daily trips whenever the mood struck. The swimming pool was used on a daily basis as well. Multiple decks available to see both sun rise & sun sets was an added bonus. View of the ocean from inside the house as well as the front porch was very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed vacation this year. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful setting.

Great Family rental

the property was great for our entire family. Plenty of room. The only complaints were no tvs in downstairs bedrooms and no hot tub. We had an overall great family vacation.

Beautiful home!

We are a family of 14 and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen was well stocked. The living and dining areas were large. Very comfortable beds throughout! Two refrigerators, two washers and dryers. We all enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. The pool table also got a lot of use! It was nice to see the ocean out front and the sound out back. Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic Vacation

We have stayed in many vacation homes and this has been one of our favorites. The rooms were large and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook in. We did need additional forks, but Joyce was quick to respond and send us what we needed. The front porch had great views and plenty of seating. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. Some of the mattresses could use replacements for a more comfortable sleep and the floors could have been a little cleaner (sandy). I would definitely stay here again! A nearly perfect vacation and host!

Awesome stay

We really enjoyed this property. It was very spacious and very clean. It has great outdoor spaces with great views. We really enjoyed the pool. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this rental! Great communication and easy check in.

Wedding for my son

Very spacious house. Unfortunately all the family members that I invited to stay were unable to. We stayed from 9/6 til 9/11. There were beautiful views of the sound and the ocean. The pool was very relaxing and a nice fenced in yard for my baby yorkie’s to run. I was disappointed in the overall cleanliness. The beds were clean and comfortable. However lots of dust and someone had stayed with an animal that shed. I didn’t really complain. I just tried cleaning some to leave it better than what i found it. There was sand downstairs from the beach that i also cleaned up. It was not anyone from my party because we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach due to such a busy wedding weekend. The outlets in the bathrooms didn’t work however i had an electrician with us that found the problem and fixed it. I did not complain but i did let the house host know about these issues. The house is beautiful and does need some work on the front deck as you would expect from it being near the ocean. All in all yes I would stay again.

Wedding weekend

We booked this house for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding reception to be held. It was amazing. All of our family that traveled from Alabama to North Carolina stayed in the house the entire 4-5 days and had plenty of room. This house was perfect for our family and perfect for hosting the dinner and small wedding reception. We had room for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready before the wedding and never see each other. The house is incredible! It's so spacious with beautiful décor, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a gorgeous front and back outdoor space and incredible views. It was so comfortable for us and worked out perfectly for our weekend. I still can't get over how lucky we are to have booked such a wonderful and perfect house. It was even better than advertised!! I would love to stay here again!!

Perfect Vacation

We had a great week at the beach. The house was very clean! The location is very close to beach access. Even our 4 yr old could walk there and back everyday. The driveway fit 6 cars which was great because we had family members that had to leave early so we had extra cars. The bedrooms were plenty big. Loved this house!

Relaxing Emerald Isle

Everything you could want for a relaxing week. We enjoyed the private very clean pool (deck needs updates, watch for splinters). All rooms were very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Very nice kitchen and all the amenities. Our favorite was the shaded front deck with plenty of seating to view the ocean.

Family Beach Trip

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beach house with six adults and five children. The location was very convenient to restaurants, grocery, and the aquarium. The beach access was only a couple of houses down from our home. The pool was not heated but we still made use of it. It is hard to keep children ages five and younger out of cold water. The security around the pool was fantastic and we didn't have to worry about children entering that area without an adult. The house was well furnished with everything we needed and very clean. We had instant response from Joyce, the property manager, with any questions we had. We would definitely go back again.

Family Vacation Emerald Isle

Joyce couldn’t have been more helpful!!! When our family got to Emerald Isle we realized the house our family rented was a tad small for all of our grand babies and pack-n-plays. We contacted Joyce after finding the rental on VRBO and she got us in the rental the next day!! The house has plenty of room for a large family…. Huge deck with ocean views and the pool was an added plus!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Location

This home is wonderfully located between the ocean and bay, just a few homes away from the beach access. It was wonderful to relax at the pool also. The home had current decor, well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating outside. I will definitely be returning!

Great location

This place was perfect for us. I can’t imagine being able to fit 15 adults (unless they are couples). 15 including little kids sure. Only one master bath for 4 rooms downstairs isn’t very many but we managed. Great location. Loved the pool. Right across the street from the beach was wonderful. Would stay here again.

Great spot!!

Easy renting process. Great house! Great pool! Big kitchen! Bathroom on first floor is very small for 4 bedrooms. The house was not super clean but I would stay there again!!!

Great stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Overall, the house was great. My only advice would be...one of the bedrooms downstairs did not have a way to hang clothes in the closet and/or a luggage rack to put a suitcase on, so adding one or the other would be helpful. Otherwise, a great time was had by all. Lovely views, listening to the ocean from the front porch at night, sunset from the back deck, just a very short walk to the beach, the pool was so appreciated and utilized...what a gem of a beach house!

Great beach vacation!

Eleven of us (9 adults, 2 kids) rented this house for a week for my mom's memorial service. The house was very clean upon arrival and Joyce was always available to help via text and direct message. The upstairs gets tons of natural light and has a great view of the ocean! The only things that were not perfect about our stay were the ice maker and the bathroom situation. The ice maker was not working properly, as it only made about a half of a batch of ice the whole week we were there, so we had to go out everyday to buy bags of ice. As for the bathrooms, there was only one full bath downstairs for all four bedrooms - just something to keep in mind if you're considering this house for a large group. Other than those two small things, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay!
