Direkt utsikt över havet med panoramautsikt över St Andrews Bay, inbÀddat mellan slottet och katedralen, i hjÀrtat av St Andrews gamla stadskÀrna. Nyligen renoverade och restyled - fantastisk gemensam lounge och matplats att njuta av med familj och vÀnner. Privat trÀdgÄrd, med golfbagaffÀr. En kort promenad till golf lÀnkar och den vÀrldsberömda Old Course.

thebeachhouse Àr en nyligen ombyggda hus med fantastisk öppen planlösning vardagsrum och kök / matrum med förhöjda takvÄning utsikt över St Andrews Bay.

Fastigheten har varit helt ombyggda externt och internt under 2016, och vi Àr sÀker pÄ att du kommer att Àlska vÄra rum smakfullt designade för att komplettera den fantastiska utsikten över havet. Den öppna plan "manhattan loft" Àr vÄr funktion omrÄde - ett första vÄningen vardagsrum och kök / diner som ger dig förhöjda utsikt frÄn katedralen pÄ baksidan till strÀnderna och slott ut framför.

Vi har tre sovrum (en dubbel och tvÄ tvillingar) som kommer att sova sex personer, tre bad / dusch rum, och dessutom en trÀdgÄrd rum / ombonad med en bÀddsoffa.

Observera eftersom vÄrt radhus har en öppen planlösning mitt golv, det Àr inte möjligt att sÀtta trapp grindar pÄ för mycket smÄ barn.

FrÄn din dörr gÄ runt de mÄnga restauranger, kaféer och barer i livliga medeltida skotska kuststaden St Andrews. Besök de mÄnga attraktionerna i staden, inklusive golfbanor, cykelbanor, strÀnder, fritidscenter, parker, botaniska trÀdgÄrdar, teater och museer. För att inte nÀmna de destillerier och bryggeri!

We stayed at this beautiful Townhouse for a family retirement golf trip to Scotland in late August with my sons. We could not have picked a nicer home and a more beautiful / convenient location than here. The hosts were so gracious and helpful as we planned for this trip. Could not be more grateful for the warm welcome they extended. We made St. Andrews our base for this trip and the views from this townhouse were spectacular. Location was so convenient to experience all that is St. Andrews. We walked everywhere to dinner, pubs, and the beautiful scenery / attractions around St. Andrews. Easy walk to Old Course, Dunvegan, and very short drive to The Jigger Inn, Tom Morris Bar and Grill, etc. Trains station to Edinburgh is 15 min away. Short drive to Kingsbarns and Carnoustie. The views and images on the website are even better in person. Setting is peaceful and tranquil even though you are truly close to everything. This was my bucket list trip and now I need another bucket so that we can return to this lovely townhouse.

This trip to the beach house is amongst the tops of all our vacations. The magnificent view towards the castle and the ocean really inspires one to think of all the people that have passed the front of the house over many centuries. The location is ideal, not in the middle of the commercial district but a short 5-10 minute walk to very good restaurants and historic bars where the walls are virtually all the greats golfers who have played here. The Old Course pavillion is a 13 minute walk away. A place where one would need to go to if you have a tee time but also to watch the players tee off or come back on the 18th green. This is great entertainment! The appliances and bathroom fixtures are new and high quality. We cooked some great dinners. Most importantly we Ann and Fraser, our host was very attentive and pleasant to communicate. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much.

What a gorgeous flat overlooking the Castle and right in town with easy walk to everything! Interior is new and modern and very comfortable for family time. Cannot say enough good things about the flat and the very communicative and responsive hosts. Terrific stay!

A Must Stay!

If you're looking for the most charming, convenient property in St. Andrews, this is it! The views overlooking the castle ruins and the North Sea are simply breathtaking, especially the morning sunrises—an unforgettable way to start each day. The space is cozy and inviting, with a large table and lounge area perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The kitchen and laundry facilities were a huge plus, making our stay even more comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of St. Andrews, making it easy to walk everywhere. It’s perfect for exploring the town without needing a car. I stayed while visiting from the States to drop my son off at college, and this felt like the perfect sanctuary during such an emotional time. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, which made us feel right at home. It’s truly a gem of a place, and we didn’t want to leave (and hope to be back!) Whether you're here for the stunning views, the comfort, or the convenience, this is a must-stay for anyone visiting St. Andrews!

The listing and the pictures did not do the beach house justice. Spacious living room and kitchen area and comfortable rooms. Very quiet location with great access to many sites. Ann was fantastic to work with. She provided great communication and made the experience simple! We hope to be back!

Great place but previous guest must have taken the dvd player hdmi lead. Owner tried to get a new one delivered but never arrived. Also, there was a leak in the toilet that last guest did not report. Would have been better if owner warned us earlier on arrival rather than morning after first night when we had a long lie in only to find out a plumber was coming in an hour and the ensuing mad rush to get up showered and dressed. That said owner did try her best and house is lovely and in a great location. I would definitely go again.

Location, location!

We were staying in St. Andrew's for my daughter's graduation. The beach house was an ideal spot. Beautiful views and a great location. It was nice to be slightly out of town, but close enough to walk into town to all the restaurants and bars. The bedrooms are on different floor levels and the living and kitchen/dining is all on the same level. That made cooking and cleaning easier. A large farmhouse table was ideal for our group. I would definitely rent again.

Perfect location for week long golf adventure

What a wonderful house and location to spend time in St Andrews. We were 4 guys on a golf trip and plenty of room for all to feel comfortable. The location provides easy walking access, within 10 minutes, to all things in the city. We also used this location as a hub when golfing within a 30 minute drive to surrounding courses. The views, sounds and smells of the ocean were an added bonus which greeted us at both the start and end of our days. Parking was very easy and accessible behind/in front of the unit. Ann was a very gracious and communicative host which was appreciated as we were traveling from the US and first-time visitors. This would be my first choice for accommodations when I return in the future. Thank you Ann!

Absolutely stunning property.

Wonderful location looking over the sea and the ruins of the castle. Gorgeous home. Probably the best VRBO we have ever rented. Short walk to every bar and restaurant in St Andrews yet very quiet at night. Communications from owner were immediate and helpful. We shall definitely return.

First time in Scotland

Fraser’s home was the perfect location for our family golf trip to St. Andrews. The beach house is stunning and the views are amazing. Waking up every morning to the sounds of the North Sea is unforgettable. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you would need to feel right at home. Fraser was so helpful and a great communicator. Everything in town is within walking distance from the house. We would definitely stay there again for our next trip to St. Andrews

Gorgeous home, perfect location, iconic views

This is our second stay at Beach House. It is a contemporary and beautifully designed home in a wonderful location in St. Andrews. The views are spectacular. Fraser is easy to communicate with — very responsive and accommodating. We’ve been to St Andrews several times and this is, hands down, the best place we’ve stayed. It’s a gem.

The Best Place to say in St. Andrews

We stayed (for the second time) at this great property and had a fantastic time! It is located right on the St. Andrews Bay/North Sea and you can see the Castle ruins from one side of the house and the Cathedral ruins from the other. Great location; you can walk everywhere (Old Course, restaurants, sightseeing, etc.). The house also is in a quiet area so it is very peaceful. House is equipped nicely and I can't say enough nice things about Ann and Fraser, the owners. Would stay over and over. I recommend it highly!

Amazing stay!

Fraser and Ann are the most wonderful hosts and have a truly special property. The views must be the best in town, the home is updated, well appointed and very comfortable. 'Beach House' in St Andrews a great place to stay

My wife and I spent two weeks in Beach House and loved it. The location is walking distance to everywhere in town and just a 10 minute walk to the first tee on the Old Course. The property underwent a total (to the studs) renovation within the last few years and so everything about it feels 'new.' The owners, Ann and Fraser, are very nice and responsive. So communication was easy. We highly recommend this property and are very likely to return on another of our visits to the Auld Grey Toon. Joe & Theresa B.

Great property in perfect location

The views from the property are fantastic! The sea, the ruined castle, and ruined cathedral! The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere in town in minutes. The townhouse has lots of space and excellent amenities.

Great spot in St Andrews

This three floor house is very close to the cathedral, castle and restaurants on North, South and Market Streets (average 6-12 minute walks depending on which end of the streets they are on). North Bend Cafe for morning coffee and breakfast is 3 minute walk. It is about 15 minute walk to the club house serving the main St Andrews courses (Old, Jubilee, New)--but very scenic along the Scores overlooking the bay. The house is well appointed with three full bathrooms, a Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher and washer and dryer. Extremely clean and well appointed. We were a group of 4 golfers but could easily accommodate 6. We originally made this booking at the start of COVID in 2020 and the owner, Fraser was very accommodating and understanding about multiple re-bookings and changes of plans. Overall, would highly recommend.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We completely redesigned the property, with an open plan first floor offering elevated views over the ocean. It has an urban feel to the feature space, our 'Manhattan loft' - very contemporary and a great place to spend special time socialising with your family and friends. We don't do twee, so we like to think the rest of the house is seaside waterfront styling but with class!!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It's uniqueness really mainly evolves around the direct views over the Castle, Cathedral and beaches. You have to be there to truly appreciate it. Due to the elevated position it can feel like being on a ship when the tide is in! Which is why we fell in love with the property, and turned it into our special place...
