Direkt utsikt över havet med panoramautsikt över St Andrews Bay, inbäddat mellan slottet och katedralen, i hjärtat av St Andrews gamla stadskärna. Nyligen renoverade och restyled - fantastisk gemensam lounge och matplats att njuta av med familj och vänner. Privat trädgård, med golfbagaffär. En kort promenad till golf länkar och den världsberömda Old Course.

thebeachhouse är en nyligen ombyggda hus med fantastisk öppen planlösning vardagsrum och kök / matrum med förhöjda takvåning utsikt över St Andrews Bay.

Fastigheten har varit helt ombyggda externt och internt under 2016, och vi är säker på att du kommer att älska våra rum smakfullt designade för att komplettera den fantastiska utsikten över havet. Den öppna plan "manhattan loft" är vår funktion område - ett första våningen vardagsrum och kök / diner som ger dig förhöjda utsikt från katedralen på baksidan till stränderna och slott ut framför.

Vi har tre sovrum (en dubbel och två tvillingar) som kommer att sova sex personer, tre bad / dusch rum, och dessutom en trädgård rum / ombonad med en bäddsoffa.

Observera eftersom vårt radhus har en öppen planlösning mitt golv, det är inte möjligt att sätta trapp grindar på för mycket små barn.

Från din dörr gå runt de många restauranger, kaféer och barer i livliga medeltida skotska kuststaden St Andrews. Besök de många attraktionerna i staden, inklusive golfbanor, cykelbanor, stränder, fritidscenter, parker, botaniska trädgårdar, teater och museer. För att inte nämna de destillerier och bryggeri!

Amazing Beach House

We had a great stay at the beach house in St Andrews. Perfectly located close to the city center but tucked back in a quiet neighborhood, the home had everything we needed throughout our stay. Can’t wait to come back again soon

Wonderful St Andrew’s Experience.

The listing and the pictures did not do the beach house justice. Spacious living room and kitchen area and comfortable rooms. Very quiet location with great access to many sites. Ann was fantastic to work with. She provided great communication and made the experience simple! We hope to be back!

Great property in perfect location

The views from the property are fantastic! The sea, the ruined castle, and ruined cathedral! The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere in town in minutes. The townhouse has lots of space and excellent amenities.

Absolutely stunning property.

Wonderful location looking over the sea and the ruins of the castle. Gorgeous home. Probably the best VRBO we have ever rented. Short walk to every bar and restaurant in St Andrews yet very quiet at night. Communications from owner were immediate and helpful. We shall definitely return.

We had a delightful seven night stay at an incredible beach front location in St Andrews. Each bedroom was perfect and the kitchen was contemporary with every convenience. Steps from heart of St Andrews and the Links. Highly recommend this residence and hope to reserve it again in the future

Amazing stay!

Fraser and Ann are the most wonderful hosts and have a truly special property. The views must be the best in town, the home is updated, well appointed and very comfortable. Location, location!

We were staying in St. Andrew's for my daughter's graduation. The beach house was an ideal spot. Beautiful views and a great location. It was nice to be slightly out of town, but close enough to walk into town to all the restaurants and bars. The bedrooms are on different floor levels and the living and kitchen/dining is all on the same level. That made cooking and cleaning easier. A large farmhouse table was ideal for our group. I would definitely rent again.

Gorgeous home, perfect location, iconic views

This is our second stay at Beach House. It is a contemporary and beautifully designed home in a wonderful location in St. Andrews. The views are spectacular. Fraser is easy to communicate with — very responsive and accommodating. We’ve been to St Andrews several times and this is, hands down, the best place we’ve stayed. It’s a gem.

5 Stars for sure

This is a wonderful rental unit with fabulous ocean views from the sitting area and master bedroom. It is newly renovated, clean and well maintained. The owners, Ann and Fraser could not have been more helpful and responsive, and were a great resource for recommendations for the town and area. The townhome is easily accesible to all of St. Andrews, with loads of good dining options just a short walk away. We loved this place and I would highly recommend it.

The Best Place to say in St. Andrews

We stayed (for the second time) at this great property and had a fantastic time! It is located right on the St. Andrews Bay/North Sea and you can see the Castle ruins from one side of the house and the Cathedral ruins from the other. Great location; you can walk everywhere (Old Course, restaurants, sightseeing, etc.). The house also is in a quiet area so it is very peaceful. House is equipped nicely and I can't say enough nice things about Ann and Fraser, the owners. Would stay over and over. I recommend it highly!

Pristine Architectural Gem with Picture Postcard Views

This is one of the most amazing and thoughtfully designed houses I've ever visited. The modern layout capitalizes on the stunning views of the castle, the cathedral and the sea. It is immaculate and beautifully furnished. Its location is second-to-none in St. Andrews -- steps away from everything (town, ruins, footpath) but in a peaceful, quiet enclave. My family and I loved every minute in this one-of-a-kind home.

First time in Scotland

Fraser’s home was the perfect location for our family golf trip to St. Andrews. The beach house is stunning and the views are amazing. Waking up every morning to the sounds of the North Sea is unforgettable. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you would need to feel right at home. Fraser was so helpful and a great communicator. Everything in town is within walking distance from the house. We would definitely stay there again for our next trip to St. Andrews

Perfect location for week long golf adventure

What a wonderful house and location to spend time in St Andrews. We were 4 guys on a golf trip and plenty of room for all to feel comfortable. The location provides easy walking access, within 10 minutes, to all things in the city. We also used this location as a hub when golfing within a 30 minute drive to surrounding courses. The views, sounds and smells of the ocean were an added bonus which greeted us at both the start and end of our days. Parking was very easy and accessible behind/in front of the unit. Ann was a very gracious and communicative host which was appreciated as we were traveling from the US and first-time visitors. This would be my first choice for accommodations when I return in the future. Thank you Ann!

A Must Stay!

If you're looking for the most charming, convenient property in St. Andrews, this is it! The views overlooking the castle ruins and the North Sea are simply breathtaking, especially the morning sunrises—an unforgettable way to start each day. The space is cozy and inviting, with a large table and lounge area perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The kitchen and laundry facilities were a huge plus, making our stay even more comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of St. Andrews, making it easy to walk everywhere. It’s perfect for exploring the town without needing a car. I stayed while visiting from the States to drop my son off at college, and this felt like the perfect sanctuary during such an emotional time. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, which made us feel right at home. It’s truly a gem of a place, and we didn’t want to leave (and hope to be back!) 'Beach House' in St Andrews a great place to stay

My wife and I spent two weeks in Beach House and loved it. The location is walking distance to everywhere in town and just a 10 minute walk to the first tee on the Old Course. The property underwent a total (to the studs) renovation within the last few years and so everything about it feels 'new.' The owners, Ann and Fraser, are very nice and responsive. So communication was easy. We highly recommend this property and are very likely to return on another of our visits to the Auld Grey Toon. Joe & Theresa B.

Great place but previous guest must have taken the dvd player hdmi lead. Owner tried to get a new one delivered but never arrived. Also, there was a leak in the toilet that last guest did not report. Would have been better if owner warned us earlier on arrival rather than morning after first night when we had a long lie in only to find out a plumber was coming in an hour and the ensuing mad rush to get up showered and dressed. That said owner did try her best and house is lovely and in a great location. I would definitely go again.

Magnificent!

Even the great photos don’t do The Beachhouse justice. The sea views from the front of the property were stunning as were the equally stunning views of the cathedral ruins from the kitchen area . The property was a pleasure to stay in.It was spotlessly clean and finished to a high spec.Five star plus in our opinion.Being within walking distance to all beaches and town centre was an added bonus. Ann and Fraser were a pleasure to deal with. The checking in and out processes were well organised and communicated. Started saving for next year!

Perfect St. Andrews home!

We (My wife, 2 sons - 23 and 25 years old and I)stayed 9 days in this lovely home in St. Andrews. It is perfect. The views are great (ruins can be seen from both sides of the house and the ocean view is great from the living room)! The house is clean, nicely furnished, and the owners are very accommodating. The home is close to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, the university, and the golf course. We drove to the Old Course to play only because we thought it might be easier but we could have walked there with no problem. The home is fantastic and does not disappoint. We enjoyed it very much! We will be back!

St Andrews Gem- We Loved our Stay!

We vacationed in a few UK locations this week and decided to pick a house in the heart of St Andrews. It overlooks the waterfront between the castle and cathedral ruins. The owners have done an amazing renovation of this cottage and were gracious and communicative before, during and after our stay. We were a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our adult kids loved the contemporary touches and we all appreciated the clean and updated decor. We enjoyed the location as it was nearby the main streets of the town and also an easy drive or walk when playing the golf courses at St. Andrews - what fun ! The water views every day grabbed our attention focus on the natural beauty Scotland offers. We loved our stay and would definitely return if we have the chance. Thank you Ann, Fraser and Nancy for helping to create and share your special spot with us!

We completely redesigned the property, with an open plan first floor offering elevated views over the ocean. It has an urban feel to the feature space, our 'Manhattan loft' - very contemporary and a great place to spend special time socialising with your family and friends. We don't do twee, so we like to think the rest of the house is seaside waterfront styling but with class!!

It's uniqueness really mainly evolves around the direct views over the Castle, Cathedral and beaches. You have to be there to truly appreciate it. Due to the elevated position it can feel like being on a ship when the tide is in! Which is why we fell in love with the property, and turned it into our special place...
