Hi AnnMarie, Thanks for your feedback. There is not a check in form that we require the firm we sent you was just the Pointe information and rules. The instructions are pretty clear, you just buzz at the gate. We send full check in instructions and have a book with the information at the house as we stated. Additionally we email a reminder with the highlights. We pride ourselves on our communication. The kayaks are there for your use by the water with a map and pictures on both the website, welcome letter and at the house. Our house is on island in a wooded natural area of the Northwest, there is a lot of wildlife as stated in our instructions. This includes deer, racoons, whale, seals, insects, even an occasional cougar, so seasonally there are mosquitos etc outside. If doors are left open they may come inside. We also supply bug spray, citronella etc all labeled for our guests in the closet. When you emailed about the kayaks I was responsive. We are always available for follow up questions and calls but we never heard from you after that. We take our hosting duties very seriously and work hard for our guests. I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Hi Carolyn, I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. I’m glad you found the two fans in the upstairs bedrooms. Usually our house stays so cool with just the ceiling fan we’ve never needed them but you hit the Harstine heat wave for sure:) We’ve added a third fan. Thanks for the feedback. Thank you for your review Nany, I'm so glad you loved your stay! We fell in love with the island when we vacationed here ourselves a couple years ago and knew this was the perfect vacation home. I'm so sorry there were not paper towels, I can honestly say that has never happened before. Our cleaners are the best in the area and usually there are plenty. We even keep an extra costco size package in the closet. I like the suggestion of an oyster knife we've added one to the kitchen. As far as the bikes we keep them in an accessible spot covered from the rain so I'm not sure why you couldn't get to them, we checked to make sure they are all there ready to go.
