This cabin was the perfect get away for my husband and I! Very clean and cared for! Very convenient to everything Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

Gatlinburg March 2024

This was our first visit as just a couple empty nesters. The location was perfect. The cabin was clean. It was a nice relaxing in front of the fireplace and in the hot tub. We had a great time.

Glad we chose Aunt Bugs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin but not within walking distance of Gatlinburg for old people like us.

Cozy Cabin, unexpected pet fees

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cabin was nice and cozy, perfect for a Gatlinburg getaway. I like booking on travel sites such as , airbnb, VRBO, etc because all the fees are laid out for you before you book. Unfortunately this rental didn't lay out everything until after booking. If you aren't bringing a pet, you can ignore the rest of this review.... We booked this cabin with intentions of bringing our trained black lab (70 lbs). Upon booking, the fees were laid out with a dog in mind. Other cabins I searched only allowed small dogs under 40 lbs and specifically listed that stipulation in the information on the VBRO website. This cabin listed no rules about the size restrictions of a pet, I was very thorough when reading. When I went to book a pet fee was included, cleaning fee, service fee, and all those "fun" fees were listed. The total was a little more than we wanted to spend, but it was Labor Day and we had a pet so we understood those factors. However, a day or two later I was sent the rental agreement from the rental company to sign for staying at the cabin. Only in that agreement, did it say that there was a weight restriction for pets. Also conveniently listed in that agreement was the terms and conditions that if you book within 30 days of staying, there would be no refund issued if you canceled. I called the Aunt Bugs Rental company and explained what had happened, panicked that we would lose money or be charged heavily for breaking rules we didn't know existed (please note: I am an avid rule follower). They told me the dog was fine but the cleaning fee would be increased now to $112. So the choice then was, pay an extra $50 or lose out on $650 which was already paid upfront. Needless to say, I was very disappointed by this unexpected circumstance.

Cabin was in a convenient location. Parking was very tight. Guests driving a full size truck wouldn’t fit. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.

End of winter getaway

Cabin was great! Location was also great for the time of year. Quick and easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg. Would stay again!

Cozy and comfortable

We had a great Anniversary trip because of the stress free check in and out. The owners were in contact with us via text messages checking to see if we needed anything. It was great. We enjoyed the fire place and the hot tub and spending quality time with each other.

Smokey Mountain Retreat

Great location. Close to everything. Had Christmas decorations up, a nice surprise. Needs a little updating but was good enough.

Tennessee Cabin

Location and cabin were great! Away from crowds! Two negatives were the cabin was on a dead end so signage that cabin was ahead could have been better and for the cost, we had to basically do all the clean up!

Decent stay, won't be back

The cabin and experience was okay. Only 2 minor complaints. There were spiderwebs, spiders and daddy long legs throughout the cabin. I didn't mind but the girlfriend did. It was extremely annoying taking the time to clean and kill everything. Second, the cabin was advertised as pet friendly. After we paid, we were notified that we could not bring our pet cat and only dogs under 40 lbs. qualified. It should have had the pet restrictions on the listing before payment. Other than that, no issues. Good location, close to downtown.

Birthday Weekend

Brought my wife to Gatlinburg area for a little weekend get away for her birthday. We wanted a lillt emore privacy over a hotel so we chose a cabin. This cabin was perfect for a couple and was well within walking distance of some of the things we wanted to do. Very nice, would definitely stay here again.

Just as described

Cabin was very clean and close to town but far enough away to not deal with anything. Me and wife celebrated birthday weekend here and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any couple.

Just a little get away!

Cabin was perfect size for 2! Was clean and ready for us! It was hard to see coed entry on door as the outside light was out! Hot tub out on beautiful deck was not working! Jets had no power! Big disappointment!

Relaxing visit

This was a sweet, relaxing getaway for myself and my husband. The cabin was 1 mile from some amazing hiking spots that we took full advantage of. We were in the hot tub twice a day. The cabin was private, well placed as far as getting to attractions, and quiet. We loved it and will definitely be back.
