Det finns bra ställen att äta i närheten i "downtown" Duck. Sitt på bakdäck på Sunset Grill med utomhusbar med utsikt över Currituck Sound och titta på underbara solnedgångar. Blue Point är fantastisk, som ligger precis vid sundet. Det finns också Roadside Grill, Duck Deli (bra för frukost också!), bland andra. Sök i "restauranger i Duck, NC" så ser du ett antal fantastiska ställen att äta på. Massor av bra butiker att besöka också. Glöm inte att stanna vid Duck Donuts för färska heta "hemlagade" munkar! Husdjur: Tyvärr tillåter vi inte husdjur eftersom vi har hårda golv i hela huset som kan repa och med hänsyn till resenärer med husdjurallergi. Tack för din övervägande i förväg!

Duck outer banks

Great property for our family, we live in Montana and our family is in Raleigh. It was nice to have a place where we could all be together. Everything worked and the instructions were helpful to check in and out. Communication with the host was good and easy through the app

Great long weekend

I stayed at Jim’s place with my husband and toddler, and a family we are friends with. It was a great stay, convenient location with a gorgeous view of the sound. Loved that there was a closet full of toys for the little ones to play with. We’d absolutely stay again!

Wonderful house in great location

Comfortable home in great location--nice view of the sound, a short walk to the beach and a short bike ride or drive to Duck restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

Great Vacation!

The Family enjoy the home and had a Great Vacation! The home had everything we needed for our stay and the beach gear and beach buggy cart was very helpful and we used everyday on our trip. The Sunset views from the deck in the evenings were amazing!

Great place for a family stay

So nice

The house was very convenient to the beach and the walk is all through neighborhood so no crossing heavy traffic. We loved the porches and lots of toys for our kids.

Awesome weekend away

Better than expected. Well maintained, comfortable and clean.

Home was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms were decent sized and beds were very comfortable. Beach was an easy 5 min walk. Would stay here again. Jim was very helpful and responsive

Great clean home

We were in town for a wedding and at the last minute realized we did not book enough houses for everyone to have a bed so last minute Jim was very accommodating in getting us into his house the same day we called. The house is very comfortable and if we ever go back to Duck we will call Jim to stay here again.

Long weekend with daughter

A perfect place to enjoy the beach, good eats and relaxation with my daughter. The house was clean and comfortable with everything one needs if you choose to eat in. Beach just a few easy blocks away with regular deer sightings. Downtown duck just a few miles and you must bring or rent bikes, very friendly paths. Oh and let's not forget Jim, our host who was super attentive and available if needed. Thanks for the use of your vacation home, highly recommend.

Third stay was a delightful

This was our third time renting this property. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach each day for sunrise and the evenings on the deck enjoying the sunsets on the sound. Jim and Connie are great hosts and can text Jim anytime. They make you feel at home even if it was only a for a week get away. The house had everything we needed and was in a quiet neighborhood. We will be back again.

5 minutes from the beach

After 20 years of dreaming, I finally made it here. Duck was a perfect tourist location with small shops, but not too many people. Brought our bikes and went into town a couple days. House was perfect for the price, 2 miles north of town. 5 minutes walk to a white sandy beach. Public beach but much less crowded than we are used to. Owner was honest and communicative. We had an amazing time. Definitely I'd stay here again.

Visit to Duck

Jim did a wonderful job of providing information about the property and things to do. Porch had a great sound view and sunsets. However, an umbrella would have been nice. House is dated and needs cabinet handles replaced as many were missing. Pictures did show a road but traffic was very loud and busy when sitting on back deck. Master bath is small. Kitchen was very well stocked. Property has a nice layout and beds were very comfortable. Weather was perfect.

Beach time in Duck

Unfortunately, we were on the tail end of vacation and only had three nights in Duck, but we had a wonderful time staying at this beach house! It is spacious, well-equipped, and has really comfy furniture 😊It’s a short walk down a quiet street to a beautiful beach. My only minor suggestion would be to maybe provide a few beach towels. We got our beach equipment from a rental company, but because we flew, we weren’t able to bring our own towels. We had a great time, and would definitely stay here again!

fun week

We had a wonderful week in Duck, NC. The house was clean and very nice. The beach is a short walk from house, there is no parking at beach. I would recommend renting a golf cart. By the time we arrived and called for rentals, they were sold out for the week. You can drive to the end of the street and drop off beach chairs, etc and walk back. The sunsets over the sound were amazing.

Great beach get way for a family or two!

Jim and Connie Hill's beach house is the perfect little retreat.We enjoyed walking down to the beach for sunrise and sitting on the back deck for sunsets over the Sound. The house is very clean and inviting. This was our second year renting and enjoyed our stay again. Jim is very responsive and the Hills take pride in their beach home. This year we took advantage of renting kayaks and paddle boards right down the street and spent some time in the Sound. If your looking for a great rental I would definitely recommend this property. Open Floor Plan - Comfortable - Home Away From Home

Great location, just a short walk from the beautiful, clean beach and only a short drive into Duck, NC where we found it easy to rent beach chairs and stop at the original Duck Donuts (yum)! Other highlights of the trip included enjoying music and cocktails at The Blue Point and lunch at the Sunset Grille, and more. Within about 5 minutes from the Sanderling Resort the ladies were able to pamper themselves to a spa day. Later in the week our entire family returned one evening for an amazing dinner. But most of all we enjoyed preparing family meals in the clean, well appointed and spacious kitchen, using the outdoor grill, and gathering later either around the dining table to play board games and card games or relax around the large screen TV in the great room before retiring for the day.

This was my wife Connie, and her sister's, mother and father's home. You will see the "Pop's Delight" sign hanging in the great room. They loved the house and beach so much! We know you and your family and friends will have a great time at our house! The outdoor shower is to die for! Motion sensor light for nighttime showering! Quiet neighborhood just a few miles north of "downtown" Duck with walk/bike path all the way! Just a few minutes walk to the ocean and across the street from the Currituck Sound. Great views of gorgeous sunsets from the back deck! Hoping to host your stay-cation soon!
