Wern Cottage ligger nära Conwy i utkanten av Snowdonia-bergskedjan. Det är också nära norra Wales kust och den vackra ön Anglesey, 'Ynys Môn'. Det ligger i byn Capelulo ... där bergen möter havet.

Stugan

Wern har nyligen dekorerats och är möblerad till en mycket hög standard. Återigen har det fått ett femstjärnigt betyg av Visit Wales - Welsh Tourist Board och ett TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2018.

Med ett sovrum med dubbelsäng med eget dusch och handfat, ett tvåbäddsrum, ett modernt badrum, fullt utrustat stuga / kök med diskmaskin, tvättmaskin / torktumlare och vedspis. Den bekväma loungen har två soffor och en Freeview Digital TV (BT Vision) och Xbox 360. Strax utanför loungen ligger ett litet vinterträdgård med utsikt mot kusten och de omgivande kullarna, en idealisk plats att äta frukost och njuta av lite lugn avkoppling.

(Observera: det finns bara en toalett på fastigheten i huvudbadrummet på första våningen. Privat badrum till sovrummet är bara en dusch och handfat).

Det finns modern gasuppvärmning i hela stugan som enkelt styrs via en brittisk gashive-termostat.

Fabulous stay

Wern Cottage is ideally situated for exploring North Wales. It has everything you could possibly need and more. We enjoyed the views, the many birds, the red squirrels and the lambs. The cottage is highly recommended, when we travel to Wales again, we will definitely book Wern Cottage again.

Lovely cottage with an outstanding view.

We had a lovely stay in Wern cottage. Everything was provided for, beds were comfortable, heating was perfect for us travelling Australians. Would love to stay here in the warmer months to take advantage of the cute little deck. Just beautiful.

Cozy cottage

Super clean cozy cottage. Nice outdoor garden. Just down the street is a pub with friendly staff and good food (super accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies). Nice location for visiting sites. Also good walking paths, took one that led to an old cemetery.

Relaxing break

The cottage is exactly how it it was described. If i was to imagine an idyllic cottage in the hills of Wales this would be it. We really enjoyed are short stay and would recommend the cottage to any guest.

Cozy place with easy access to Conwy and Snowdonia

Nice amenities, easy access to Conwy and Snowdonia. The washer/dryer combo was useful. Very clean and well maintained. Owners were very quick to respond to questions.

Lovely cottage in the Welsh Mountains

Beautifully presented and in a small village.A cosly, authentic Welsh cottage. The stream was singing as it rushed by. Little birds and a squirrel visited. The garden peaceful with lovely outlooks. We would love to come again. Perfectedly located to visit Snowdonia. Very restful.

Home from Home. Cottage

We had an excellent stay at Wern Cottage, so cosy and very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The owners Jane and Lawrence kept us informed as to how to find the property as well as delivering on thoughtful personal touches to make our stay special. The cottage was just as we expected and in a great position for seeing the sights of Conwy and surrounding towns. Would definitely stay there again.

Warm, comfortable cottage in a lovely location.

A slice of heaven!

A lovely cottage, extremely well set up with lots of special touches, the owners have thought of everything. Love the little deck outside, so peaceful with birdlife. Best of all it was well located as a base for a week of touring around the north of Wales, and to come back to each evening, and walk down to the Fairy Glen pub for a drink some evenings. Thank you for a lovely day.

Lovely Cottage

Wern is a lovely cottage in a picturesque setting. It is equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cottage is very clean & comfortable. Small garden to sit in enjoying a glass of wine. There are lovely walks right from the door to enjoy. A short walk away is the friendly Fairy Glen pub. Good choice of meals & generous helpings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wern.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location

We had a lovely few days at Wern cottage.The cottage was lovely and was equipped with everything including beautiful views from every window,a real home from home.There’s a pub called the Fairy Glen at the end of the road which was nice and the beach,Conwy,Llandudno are close by.The communication from Jane and Laurence was excellent and would highly recommend Wern Cottage. Perfect in every way

What a truly beautiful cottage. Decorated to extremely high standards, spotlessly clean and full of everything you need on a self-catering break. The garden is lovely too, plenty of birds to spot on the feeders! Jane and Laurence have thought of everything to make your holiday experience a great one - including the wine, Welsh cakes and fresh flowers. The Fairy Glen pub is a 5 min walk, the food is lovely and well priced. We had a glorious time and will definitely return in the future. Thank you for being such brilliant hosts x

Wonderful home in small village

Great cottage in a small village. Good access once you figure out the local roads. We did not want to leave. Very comfortable and well appointed. Only complaint: the large bed matress is truely awful. But that seems to be a European VRBO "thing". They never have decent matresses. Cheap motels in the US have better bedding. In spite of this, we would definetly come back. Great VRBO rental.

Perfect home base for a family trip to Wales!

Laurence & Jane were so welcoming and have made Wern Cottage a perfect home base for a family to explore Wales. Their communication beforehand was so helpful and they left great instructions that made check-in and finding our way around easy. The cottage itself is so cozy with plenty of room for two adults and two high-energy kids, with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water in the baths, a kitchen that's great for people who like to cook, nice TV and games, and a lovely patio where you can listen to the stream at the bottom of the hill. Add to that, beautiful, eye-catching original photos of nature and local animals featured throughout the cottage. The wonderful Fairy Glen pub is a short walk down the hill, with a fantastic playground across the street that our 8 and 12-year old kids loved. Plenty of great walking trails nearby mean you can enjoy some breathtaking mountain views without having to jump in the car. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

Schönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage

Ein sehr sauberes, freundliches Ferienhaus, in dem wir uns sofort willkommen fühlten. Das Haus war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos dargestellt, der Kontakt zum Vermieter ausgezeichnet. Angenehm, dass eine ganze Reihe von Küchenzutaten (z. B. Öl, Salz) bereits vorhanden waren. Vielleicht eine ganz kleine Anregung aus unserer Sicht: Noch etwas mehr Geschirr (Teller) würde helfen, dass man den Geschirrspüler seltener betätigt. Uns hat besonders gefallen, dass man direkt vom Haus zum Wandern aufbrechen konnte. Aber auch ansonsten kann man von hier Nordwales sehr gut zu erkunden. Zu Empfehlen ist zudem der Pub im Fairy Glen in Sichtweite vom Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns eine Woche sehr wohlgefühlt!
