Yet another peaceful stay at Tybee

We’ve stayed multiple times on Tybee but having a condo on the beach with covered parking, two pools, and a restaurant and bar on site is perfect.

Great location

We had no issues. Property manager had good communication and great notes. Pool and The Deck were top notch! If we came back to Tybee Island, we would stay again.

This condo did not disappoint! It was clean / right on the beach and the amenities were great ! Had a wonderful time ; only downfall was it wasn’t long enough!

Great location!

This house was clean and comfortable, as well as close to everything. The instructions for finding the place and parking could have been a little clearer. Thankfully there were some lovely ladies outside that pointed us in the right direction.

Great 2 bedroom condo

Great condo. Most well stocked with daily supplies of any rental I’ve ever stayed in. Needs a little maintenance on the shower door and patio door to be perfect. The front door lock needs to be updated to a regular, working electronic lock.

Just a few steps to the beach. Loved the restaurant at the pool. The pool was gorgeous! The condo was very nicely appointed. The only downside was it got quite noisy outside the condo in the hallway at night. But, it was still a great place to spend a few days.

A little slice of heaven!

It was great. Very clean, fantastic comfy beds and beautiful views from the balcony. I am a diehard fan person for sleeping at night and forgot mine and they had one in the closet which I was so very thankful ! Highly recommend! The Deck restaurant was also delicious and very convenient ❤️

Great Stay!

We arrived at Beachside Colony on a Sun evening. Upon arriving, we had some issue with the door/key combination. We were given an alternative code and got in! We were thrilled with the condo. It was spacious, had plenty of bedding and towels for each of my family. I had my aging parents with me and they loved the balcony. The pool area was beautiful and clean. There were plenty of chairs and tables for families too. The condo was well stocked and had all the soaps, laundry soap and dish soap including pods for the dishwasher. The property smelled fresh and clean too. TVs were easy to operate too. Plenty of drawer space for storage. Lovely view of the ocean and watching the cargo ships float by—We will be back!

Pros and cons of Vue 227

We thought 227 was overall a nice property. We loved the view and the location. The grounds are pristine and the people are nice. We felt that the unit could use a really solid cleaning, as it was VERY dusty in some areas. Also, the cable for the bedroom TV'S didn't work. I called the VRBO contact person, but never received a return call. Also, the left sink in the master bedroom doesn't drain. We still enjoyed our stay, but feel the unit needs a little TLC.

The location was great. On-site restaurant was very good. It was advertised as having tv in the bedrooms. However, the service was not working. We tried to contact our host numerous times before finally reaching her. The issue was not resolved the week we were there. The balcony furniture needs updating. The master bath shower door does not close, no water pressure. It was stocked with plenty of items for our stay. Heated pool is not warm. Beautiful view from balcony.

Owner needs to visit their property

The condo was nice and clean, there are quite a few OWNER things that need to be addressed when charging those kinds of rates per night. I.E. the guest shower curtain fell on my guest head while getting out of the shower. I own vacation rental myself and my guest runs a housekeeping service at Edisto Island and Hilton Head rentals. Missing door cabinets in kitchen. Master bed closet is combo unit storage. Right master sink does not drain and the master toilet tank lid has to be removed to stop it running. Master shower door does not close. Just simple little things you don't expect for that kind of money. Otherwise, the property was nice. I left there to come to my property to check the same type stuff I'm writing about. The owner needs to go spend a few days in their property. Kindest regards, R

Overall was a good condo and a great location ! Check in was a breeze ! Facilty is nice and did i say location :) I was hit with a terrible pet smell upon entering the condo. The cleanliness was ok ....the refrigerator on top has about 3 inches of dust on top ! The tile in the foyer and bathrooms could really use a professional cleaning ! This is coming from an owner of a professional carpet cleaning business in The Great smoky mountains so the average person may not notice ! The travertine in the bedrooms could also use a cleaning ! The couch , rug and 2 red chairs could also really use a professional cleaning ! Other than that i have no complaints about the place we enjoyed it very well and would rent it again !!! This is not a negative review its to notify the owner of what needs to be done !!! Love tybee and will be back :)

The location of the condo had a nice view of the pool area and ocean view. Kitchen had lots of cookware and utensils. I would highly recommend the owner visit the condo as it has not been cleaned or maintained well. Reading back through reviews many others mentioned the same thing I will identify and it has been more than 2 years since other reviews. Here we go, Master shower door will not shut, sliding door will not lock (yes it's on second floor, but should lock), second bedroom mattress is horribly broken down and needs replaced, bed pillows need replaced and spare pillows had no cases and were not very clean. The shower and the second bedroom needs all new fixtures as the makeshift repairs are ridiculous. Lastly, I have to mention the overall cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable in my opinion. I did not want to walk barefoot or sit on the furniture. I rarely leave such negative reviews but for the cost of the condo it should be clean and better maintained!
