We loved staying at this cottage. It was cozy and nestled in a wooded area where you could also see the lake and animals. It was a perfect place to relax and get away from everything, but only about twenty minutes to downtown Traverse City. We did have to contact the owner once about the outside light, and she took care of it right away. Our only concern was the steepness of the walk getting down to the cottage. As seniors, we felt that we had to be very careful going up and down, especially since there wasn’t any kind of railing. Once we got inside though, we enjoyed all the windows with the lovely views.

Remote yet close enough to downtown Traverse City and Grand Traverse Resort. Local waterfront park down the street. Have to check out a Pit Spitters game. Quiet setting. Very comfortable setup with small family room at entry and sitting are off kitchen. Host was excellent to work with. We'd book again.

super easy and loved the lake access! i didn’t know beforehand though that there were no motor boats, but for what we wanted to do the lake was a perfect size. the deck was great and the house was the perfect size for us. love that the fire ring was provided, but i do wish we knew to bring charcoal for the grill because there was none provided. the host gave great recommendations at near by stores and restaurants though!

Relaxing get away

It is a cabin so away from the city, which we were looking for. Good accommodations and a filtered pitcher in the fridge was a nice bonus. Suited our expectations very well!
