Välkommen till Lorelei, en härlig 6 sovrum, 6 och 1/2 bad viktoriansk belägen i det historiska distriktet Cape May. Bara tre kvarter till de vackra stränderna och bara en och en halv kvarter till centrum, (där det finns gott om restauranger, shopping och teater) kommer du att älska platsen.
Vi är nyrenoverade med nya trägolv och kakelgolv på bottenvåningen, Nya kakelgolv i varje badrum, refinished originella trägolv i vardagsrummet. Och matsal,
nya mattor 2018 i sovrum på tredje våningen och både på övervåningen i hallar och trappor. Nymålade badrum.
Ny spis och ugn 2018.
Hela utsidan av hemmet har målad om 2018 i "sjöjungfärgfärger" Vacker trädgård, uteplats, stängsel och spektakulär veranda, den perfekta utsiktspunkten för människor som tittar och för julparaden!
2019, Extra skåp installerat i köket med alla nya bänkskivor i kvarts. Uppdaterade kritmålade skåp och nya glasplattor. (nytt kökfoto ännu inte uppe)
Köket har traditionell brödrost, brödrost, traditionell kaffebryggare, Keurig kaffepulssystem, mixer, matprocessor, handmixer, crockpot och nytt för 2019 Instant pot. Koka upp en storm!

Alla sovrum med egen platt-TV och vårt hölje har en 50-tums väggupphängd platt-skärm och BLU-ray DVD-spelare plus en samling DVD-skivor för din användning.
Vårt vardagsrum har också en platt skärm.
Huset är helt luftkonditionerat och uppvärmt och har Wi-Fi i hela. Det finns en fullständig veranda för att njuta av sevärdheterna. Det finns en privat inhägnad Paver-uteplats för grillning och sittplatser för uteservering. Tvättmaskin / torktumlare i lokalerna tillsammans med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Varje sovrum har eget badrum .. (De flesta med badrum,) Massor av parkeringsplatser på gatan gör detta till en fantastisk vistelse. En strandbox är tillgänglig för alla våra gäster precis vid stranden. Du behöver inte bära fram och tillbaka dina stolar etc. Håll allt säkert på stranden! Perfekt hus för storfamiljer, återföreningar eller företagsevenemang. Fantastisk flykt för flickveckor bort eller killar golfutflykt. Massor av integritet för alla. Charming home in the heart of Cape May

A group of 10 of us stayed for the week, and found the house to have plenty of space to convene and spread out as we liked. Check in was easy, just parked and got the code. Linens were waiting for us on the porch when we got there (rented separately). We went out to eat or got takeout most of the nights, but all the appliances were in good working order, and we were able to cook a couple of the nights without issue. Beach box was super helpful and made the walk to and from the beach very easy. Would recommend for anyone with a larger vacation group!

Great family vacation at The Lovely Lorelei, Cape May, NJ

Beautiful Victorian styled house, at great location. House exterior is colorful and ornate, matching the charm of surrounding town. On front porch every evening. Walking distance to beach, the mall, mini-golf, various shops, grocery store, restaurants and ice-cream. We only used vehicles twice; First for trip to Cape May Zoo and to Sunset Beach one evening. Lori (owner) is down-to earth, quick to respond, honest and all-around a pleasure to interact with. Beach box to store some chairs/ umbrellas. I believe each bedroom had its own bath, which was nice. Each bedroom had its own mini split (AC), which all us guys appreciated (extra blankets in closets for the ladies). Off-street parking for 4-5 cars. 15 in our group; 9 adults and 6 children. We moved some knick-knacks up to higher shelves, as we had lots of curious little hands. Highly recommended!

Lovely Holiday weekend

Lori was absolutely wonderful to deal with the entire time. We were five couples that travel together frequently, and the house was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. We will be back!

Family Beach week

The house was perfect for our requirements: staying with my husband and me were our 3 adult children, their spouses and children. We fit 13 people comfortably and each had his/her own space for sleeping. The wrap around porch was great for sitting, reading and people watching and the patio was a nice gathering place after the beach etc. Cape May is a lovely town with beautiful beaches and a plethora of shops. The host was very quick and gracious and responsive to all questions.

Family Trip to celebrate a 60th birthday

Wonderful Victorian located in the heart of everything. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beach and activities. The house was clean and the perfect size for our party of 11. Kitchen is fully stocked! Lori is great to deal with communication was easy and quick. We will be back!

Great location & communication

Beautiful home in a great location! 3 blocks to the beach and less than 2 blocks to main part of town. Fantastic porch for relaxing, reading, or watching the people passing by. Plenty of rooms and space to spread out for our group of 11. Great communication before and during our stay with Lori, and very responsive to needs. Thank you!

Senior Fun!

I'm talking seniors as in age. Five couples came together in Cape May and ended up staying at the John F. Craig house. We reserved the Lovely Lorelei however the roof was being repaired and the road in front was being resurfaced by the city, so the owner offered another property closer to the beach and shopping! Thank you Lori!! We had the best time! We loved the remodeled kitchen, having a bedroom on the first floor, hanging out on the front porch and the overall history of the house. All-in-all, we loved getting together and spending our time in this beautiful Victorian home! Suggestion for readers...be sure to check availability with Lori before reserving on Vrbo! I missed that detail.

Girl Cousins Weekend!

Without a doubt, my best experience with VRBO yet! Lori, our host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It truly enhanced our Cape May experience. So close to the Cape May shopping area and a nice walk to the beach. This was perfect for the 13 of us. Smaller groups could go their own way and meet back at the house for group conversation, games, happy hour and laughter! We all had not been together in so long. The house, the location, the attention from Lori, and of course reconnecting with cousins, all served to rejuvenate the soul! Thank you Lori, for helping to make it special!

Great house!

The house was a wonderful gathering spot for our reunion of college girlfriends. We each had our own bedroom and private bathroom. The location was great for exploring Cape May. We walked to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

Fabulous amenities!

The house is great - and all the little extras were very much appreciated - like 6 beach tags, the beach box, tissues (other rentals don't seem to think of this), excellent AC (it was a VERY hot week), a well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful wrap around porch. The very thoughtful welcome basket was a great added touch. Lori is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. Planning to come back next year - and hopefully many years after!

A Great Stay in Cape May

We absolutely loved the house, it was spacious and right near all of the greatest spots to be. From restaurants to Congress Hall and the beach we didn’t have to drive our entire stay. The house was so clean and spacious and Lorie was absolutely the best. She was so helpful in accommodating us we can’t wait to go back.

Thanksgiving in Cape May with Family

From beginning to end, the owner, Lori was amazing. She responded immediately to all of our questions and requests. We cooked most meals at the house as we were a large group. The kitchen offered all appliances, plates, pots, etc needed for our group. The home was a short walk to the Washington Mall, Harriet Tubman Museum and beach. A few minutes ride to the lighthouse and other attractions. Accommodated our family of various ages. Would definitely return again. Thank you Lori for being a great host.

Great Experience

Wonderful house, perfect location!

The house is just as described (charming, very clean, plenty of space for a large group) and in a perfect location to everything one needs in Cape May (center of town, Congress Hall, the beach). Lori, the host, is very kind and was extremely responsive to all our questions and requests. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend to others!

Perfect location to all activities

The Lorelei is perfect on so many levels...the location is perfect for shopping, dining and the beach. We walked everywhere. The house is so beautiful and fit our family perfectly. There is enough room for everyone to spread out and get away from the craziness of being together but also intimate enough to spend time with the family. Lori is the perfect hostess. She was available to answer all questions and she made great recommendations for dining and things to do. We will definitely be back to The Lorelei.

Happily Married couple with 4 kids. Youngest just graduated HS! YEAH! One married and 3 in college! I have had a many year career in health care as a physician Assistant but now manage our two Cape May Properties and work as a health coach.
We are originally from NYC but now reside in Northern New Jersey so we can be close to our two favorite places...CAPE MAY AND NYC!
