Välkommen till vårt mysiga Buoy House på Agate Beach som ligger i södra änden av ön Lopez. Vår familj har haft många roliga, avkopplande och kvalitativa familjetider på Buoy House under de senaste tjugo åren. . . och det är nu tillgängligt för familjer och par som kommer att njuta av alla lugna omgivningar tillsammans med den fantastiska västläge mot vattnet. Enkel åtkomst till stranden gör att du kan utforska drivvedstranden, och kanske kan dina barn använda sin fantasi och bygga ett litet fort, medan du sitter på stranden och läser din favoritbok. Du kan gå Agate Beach, vandra ett kort avstånd till Iceberg Point för att se mer fantastisk utsikt, cykla, sitta på verandan och kanske se en örn eller två. Varje kväll kommer du att uppleva ständigt förändrade spektakulära solnedgångar som ger din roliga dag till en minnesvärd avslutning

Buoy House är professionellt underhållet och hålls alltid på ett rent och snyggt sätt. Du hittar all nödvändig matlagningsutrustning för matlagning tillsammans med kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn och brödrost. Sovplatser har kvalitetslinne och sängkläder. Buoy House ligger inbäddat i ett lugnt och lantligt område och är bara en trevlig femton minuters bilresa genom pastoral gård till staden. Känd som Lopez Village, hittar du en fullt lager marknad, butiker, kaféer, gallerier, restauranger och bageri.

Great mom & daughter get away

The bouy house is amazing. The location cannot be beat. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. The host was great with communication. We have been to Lopez many times but this was our best trip. We did beach walks/hikes everyday and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets each night. Hopefully we will be able to return again. Thank you to the host.

Relaxing comfortable cottage

Well outfitted clean comfortable cottage with a lovely view of Agate beach. We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again. Excellent rental for either a couple or family with kids.

Buoy House Lopez

This lovely beach cottage was just as advertised. The house was neat, very clean and all interior furnishings and appliances were in very good order. The sunsets were stunning and very quiet on the sound end of the island. We will stay here again!

Amazing beach house

This beach house is in an amazing location on a beautiful island. Cooking and enjoying dinner while watching the sunset created some great memories for the family. We rented some kayaks and explored the coastline around here and I would highly recommend that as well.

Agate Beach Gem

We loved our relaxed time at the Bouy House. It was cozy and just right for our family. We had everything we needed. The space is clean and well cared for. We prefer homey and loved to new and fancy. The view from all the front rooms is magazine worthy and oh so calming.The quiet location on beautiful Agate Beach a short walk away from Iceberg Point was such a joy. We had no need of a car with all the hiking, trail running, biking and paddle boarding right out the door. Chadwick Hill and Watmough Bay are super close too and a bike ride up to Lopez Hill for a little mountain biking were fun adventures as well. The south end of the island is the quietest area of an already quiet island - exactly what we were looking for. It was our first time on Lopez. Orcas and San Juan Islands are bigger and there is more “there there” on the other islands but sometimes less is more. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Lovely, comfortable home

This was a perfect place for two old friends to reminisce and enjoy the spectacular view. Wonderful to be so close to great hiking at Iceberg Point. Well stocked kitchen made cooking at "home" a breeze.

Perfect view

This little gem was perfect for our week on Lopez Island! It is right across a quiet little dead end street from the beach and the unobstructed view is fabulous! We love how the view was available no matter whether we were working in the kitchen, eating at the dining table, or relaxing in the living room. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, and quiet frankly, we would not hesitate staying here again in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ go to Buoy House!

Thoughtfully appointed home base for adventures

The Buoy House had everything we needed for a week of cooking and relaxing. The beach across the street is fantastic for walks and rock throwing. A short walk away is the awesome hiking complex of Iceberg Point -- tons of amazing views and coast to explore. Property was very clean and management was prompt and communicative.

Ideal location on Lopez Island

Our timing was unfortunate to rent Buoy House during the period of very unhealthy air quality from wild fires is California and Oregon. There are numerous areas to sea kayak, hike or bicycle at this location.

BuoyHouse at Agate Beach has been our family retreat for over years. At the time of purchase our three children were in pre-school and we all found great joy from the pristine surroundings and simplicity found at Agate beach and the South end of Lopez. The family has never been ready to leave and return home and we feel quite fortunate that we have this retreat to enjoy, and now share on a limited basis with others.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When we purchased the property a complete renovation was done including all new windows to maximize the West facing views and ever changing sunsets. The no bank driftwood beach is just right out the front door. Guests will enjoy beachcombing and children can build forts and let their imagination run. Bring a good book for the beach and relax. Wildlife abounds and you are likely to see bald eagles, sea birds, deer, and sea mammals just out front of the cabin. You should sleep well while at BuoyHouse with the fresh air and peaceful no stress environment.

BuoyHouse is basic and uncomplicated offering guests a very clean, well maintained, and tidy cabin for their enjoyment. Morning walks along the beach are a given for our family, followed by a cup of coffee from the deck. The hike to Iceberg Point is just a short distance away. . . a must do memory builder.
