Turtles, turtles & more turtles

The view from the Lanai is the best. The snorkel g in the cove is very fun.. a little challenging to get in and out of the water. We will be back.

Beautiful Location

At the last minute, Napili Point cancelled our stay due to a plumbing leak. I had to scramble to find a new place. Boy, was I lucky to find Honokeana Cove! A great site located on the cove with easy access to beautiful fish and lots of turtles. Also had a large grass area to play or relax in the sun and a nice pool. Our condo unit was very nice, clean and looked right over the bay with turtles resting right below us in the afternoon. Definitely would love to return here again!

Our condo was nice and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. the complex was exactly what we hoped...great vibe. Beautiful landscaping. The cove was fantastic. We enjoyed snorkeling and watching sea turtles. It was convenient to go to sand beach and several nice trails. Property manager was very responsive. Would definitely go back.

Best family vacation spot ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious ocean front condo with beautiful grounds and a bay that is teeming with turtles! This was an ideal place to stay with 2 kids (3 yrs and 9 months). The location is ideal: we could walk to Napilli and play on the sand or in the tidepools, short drive to Kanapali for the boardwalk and restaurants or just hang in our condo for the afternoon. Sue and Greg made us feel so welcome and the small scale of the development was much more personal than a giant hotel complex. We can't wait to some back!

Snorkeling was the highlight!

Reviewer Comments: Starting with the negative...When we arrived, at the worst possible time around 4 PM, the place was hot and we figured out no AC right before arriving. (My fault for not looking specifically for AC) We are Texans so AC is a must! However, I will say after we opened all the windows, it did cool off and some other guests that have gone to this place for years said this was the hottest year and that usually it is fine with no AC. Everything else was fantastic. We loved the location and the quiet of the place. The pool was small but not crowded ever! Highlight was the ability to walk out your door to the most fantastic snorkeling in Honokeana Cove. I would definetly return if I can talk the hubby into trying again at a cooler time. If you are not from Texas, and are accustomed to no AC, I would rent this in a heartbeat.

Apiece of Paradise!

The condo exceeded our expectations in every way. Our balcony overlooked the beach where green turtle came every afternoon for a rest! The grounds were immaculate, all staff friendly and knowledgeable.The warm pool was a great option for end of day socializing. Can’t wait to come back with the grandkids!

Tranquil retreat

Our family LOVED it here. The apartment location is spectacular, waking up to the beautiful waves and enjoying a coffee gazing at turtles was incredible. The apartment is very comfortable for our six person family. Check-in process was super easy

Quiet & Beautiful Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This family friendly condo was the perfect getaway. Honokeana Cove has the best snorkeling with an abundance of sea life. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. They would checkin periodically just to make sure we had all we needed. The landscaping was exquisite, a variety of beautiful flowers and other tropical plants. The view was phenomenal and we enjoyed every sunset at the pool or balcony of the condo. The condo was very clean and comfortable. More importantly, we were very happy with our stay here and will be back for years to come!

Snorkeling just out the door was very special. Views from unit unobstructed and mesmerizing. Only minor suggestion I have: the dishwasher didn't work very well and kitchen equipped with only one dish towel.Thank you for fantastic stay.

Lovely Condo in a beautiful setting

This is a very pleasant small condominium community in a beautiful area. There is a wonderful snorkeling area in the cove and a nice sandy beach within a short walking distance. The condo is comfortable and well appointed. Our only problem was that the number of beds was misstated in the VRBO listing. The manager was very accommodating and was able to provide us with an inflatable bed. The manager was very easy to work with.

Magnificant views

Really enjoyed the regular visitation of the large turtles each evening. One eve there were nine! The furniture was old and very uncomfortable. The frig was loaded with rust and uninviting. Would really have liked air conditioning as the unit faces west and the sun heats up the unit at dinnertime.

Got a little hot in the unit in the afternoon cuz there is no air conditioning. We did get a good cross breeze with all the windows open tho. The unit was very bright with all the windows and you could see lots of turtles right from the deck. I would stay there again.

Happy place

While the weather was not the best, it didn’t keep us from being soaked to the skivvies walking back from dinner. Hysterical. Back to the condo. As others have said, this isn’t the Ritz and we love it just for that reason. 218 has one of the best views overlooking the cove. Sitting on the balcony you can watch the whales, the surfers, the turtles and the sunsets. Oh the sunsets. Also the rain brought in double rainbows everyday. You can be in the water within minutes with great snorkeling. The kitchen is very long and narrow so might be challenging for more than one cook. Thank you Su and Betty for replacing the well abused coffee maker. Knives were a bit abused as well but did the job. The condo is nicely decorated, beds were fine and the bathrooms nicely updated with great water pressure. Couch could use some replumping, but like I’ve said before, we love this place and will continue to come back!
