Vacker stuga med två sovrum, ljus och modern inredning - Husdjur och rökfri.

Att sova fyra personer i två sovrum, en dubbel och en tvilling, hittar du alla hemkomfort du behöver för att göra din semester extra speciell. Ligger på semesterorten The Bay, med inkluderande fritidscenter pass, lokal pub som serverar mat, Bayside Kitchen (begränsad öppning) och direkt tillgång till stranden, stugan erbjuder allt du behöver, oavsett om du vill utforska Yorkshire kusten eller bara njuta av en avkopplande semester när som helst på året. Gratis parkeringsplatser tillgängliga runt fastigheten.

När du kommer till stugan hittar du i hallen med en plats att lagra dina rockar och skor och en trapptoalett. Den öppna vardagsrummet har en TV / DVD, ett urval av DVD-skivor, brädspel och obegränsad WIFI, vilket leder till matplatsen som vetter ut mot uteplatsen med utomhusbord och stolar. Det finns boulebanor runt webbplatsen som kan användas när som helst (boules tillgängliga i stugan). Köket har all utrustning du behöver för att laga en söndagstek, tvättmaskin, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin. Vi erbjuder också ett strykjärn och strykbräda.

På övervåningen finns två sovrum, ett dubbelrum med en klädkammare och en tvilling med en liten garderob. Båda sovrummen har TV / DVD och hårtork finns också. I badrummet finns ett bad i full storlek med regndusch. Sängar görs för din ankomst och handdukar tillhandahålls.

Tyvärr på Ridgeway Cottage tillåter vi inte husdjur.

På sajten finns ett apotek och The Jon Paul Jones Pub. Fritidscentret har en pool med bastu och ett gym som båda kan användas gratis vid vistelse på fastigheten (pass medföljer), det finns också ett urval av betalningsaktiviteter som erbjuds genom fritidscentret.

Stranden i Filey bay är tillgänglig från platsen, bara 10 minuters promenad från stugan hittar du utsikt över Filey till vänster och Bempton Cliffs till höger. Vid lågvatten kan du gå längs stranden till Filey på cirka 30 till 40 minuter.

Om du inte har besökt Filey innan Filey är en liten, orörd fiskstad med ett stort tilltal och ligger i en härlig del av Yorkshire-kusten. Staden är genomsyren av historia och har förtjänat sitt liv från havet i århundraden. Det har ett brett utbud av barer (14 vid den sista räkningen) och restauranger (bokning rekommenderas) samt flera miles av vacker strand.

Komplexet är idealiskt beläget för att utforska North Yorkshire kusten och omgivningarna, med Bridlington, Scarborough och RSPB vid Bempton Cliffs bara 15 minuters bilresa bort.

Fabulous cottage in a great location

Perfect for a short break. Very well equipped and just the right size for wither couples or a family. Great location ... close to all amenities and only a 10 min walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and would stay agin

Perfect short break

We had a wonderful time in Filey. The cottage is very well equipped in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. Maxine is an excellent and accommodating host fitting us in at very short notice and providing great tips about the local area. Thank you so much.

What a Gem!

Absolutely fabulous stay in this gorgeous house. Beautifully decorated and filled with everything you could need. The site has so much to do (the pool a particular favourite) and the beach is just spectacular. Would definitely recommend and we'll be booking in again.

Wonderful accommodation for a holiday

My husband and I booked this immaculate beautiful cottage for a long weekend break with 2 boisterous grandchildren aged 4 and 7. We were impressed with our surroundings and the amenities. Lovely Swimming pool , and splash pool for the younger children. We had 2 great nights and meals on site and the magician went down a storm. The beach is extra special. Maxine went above and beyond with information on some of our queries . This was a superb experience in both the booking and the stay. 10/10. We will be back. Thank you

Lovely Cottage

One negative, but very much a personal thing. The lodges immediately behind the cottage would have felt a little close for my comfort if they had been in use during our stay. This would not worry most people I suspect. The cottage itself is new build, tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It was a very pleasant base for our short break. The Bay holiday village in which it stands is pretty and has the feel of a quiet rural village. The owners communications are prompt, courteous and very considerate. I visited the leisure facilities and my wife and I used the pub, both of which are a short stroll from the cottage. Both were well run establishments with pleasant and helpful staff.

Great cottage

We had the best time staying at Maxines cottage in Filey. The house was even better than the photos and had everything you needed for a holiday. The communication and check in process was smooth and very organised and the facilities at the bay are fab. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage, perfect break away

We had a fantastic stay in Filey. A beautiful cottage with everything we needed. So clean and comfortable, like home from home. Maxine was an excellent host, great communication and so flexible with our situation. We enjoyed evening walks down to the beach and trips to Scarborough and Whitby. Maxine has thought of everything from games for the little ones, places for wet wellies, brollies and ample wipes and cleaning equipment. We look forward to returning again.

Lovely relaxing break

Fantastic holiday from start to finish. Lovely clean cottage with everything you could wish for. Comfy beds, lovely facilities and a well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor space which gets the sun in the afternoon through to the evening.

Fantastic short trip to the East Coast

Wonderful stay at Ridgeway Cottage. The cottage was even nicer than expected and very comfortable. Located near to the amenities of The Bay. We would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

5 * Amazing Break

The cottage was immaculate, we had such a lovely stay we didn’t want to leave. The kitchen was so well stocked, everything seem to have been carefully planned, even including children’s cutlery, plates and bowls. I didn’t need many of the things I packed! The cottage was only a short walk away from the park, beach, leisure facilities and pub. We pre booked some children’s activities via the Bay website and there was so much to do in the local area we needed so stay longer to enjoy everything on offer. The cottage was easily the best place we have stayed in a number of years and I’m sure we will be back.

Fabulous home from home

From the initial contact through to leaving everything was handled impeccably. This is a fantastic cottage that is in a great location for all amenities on site and the fabulous beach. Despite staying over the bank holiday period the cottage was peaceful. Lots of lovely touches within the cottage from umbrellas, (luckily we didn’t need them) dvd’s and games and a well kitted kitchen. We would definitely recommend for either a couple or family holiday.

The bay Filey is a super place for families to stay.

Ridgeway Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the bay and Filey. It has all of the home comfots you would expect and a few extras such as board games, DVDs, swimming floats to borrow and boules. We had a fabulous stay. Thank you so much.

Ridgeway Cottage is modern, comfortable and homely.

Ridgeway Cottage has been a perfect holiday home, only a few minutes stroll from the most beautiful beach and within reasonable driving distance of some great days out. We've been to York, Whitby and Sewerby Hall in Bridlington, all of which we'd recommend. We also spent a day on the NMYR railway, travelling from Pickering to Goathland (the setting for Heartbeat and for Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter film). The cottage offers all the space, comfort and facilities we needed and offers the ideal base for anyone thinking of visiting this lovely part of the country.

A delightful property

The property was well appointed in the area and extremely well equipped. The development itself was clean and had good but limited facilities. Easy to access other places of interest from there. We would consider returning to the property if staying in the area again. We visited Scarborough Castle , Flamborough Head, Reighton and Reighton Gap Pickering and Whitby.

Ridgeway cottage is owned by Damon and Maxine from Sheffield. We have two teenage children who both enjoy spending time at the cottage.
We bought the cottage after booking a last minute short break in the summer of 2016, although the height of the season, the complex was so peaceful and relaxing. We thought we would never tire of the surroundings.

We completed our purchase just before Christmas 2016 and spent the next month furnishing the property so that our guests will have the same experience from a relaxing holiday as we did in summer 2016.

Fast foward to the current year and we still love to stay regularly at our cottage. Staying often allows us to keep it to the same high standard our guests expect. We have a wealth of regular guests that stay year after year, helping families create valuable memories.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Having never been to Filey, the quaint little town captured our hearts straight away. Our plan was to visit at weekends after a busy week at work, walk along the beach into Filey, grab fish and chips to eat in Filey gardens (we have our favourite bench) and walk back at low tide.

Now 7+ years of staying we do venture further. We love a trip to see the seals at Flamborough, Puffins at North Landing and a trip to nearby Bridlington or Scarborough but we always make time for a sit on our favourite bench, enjoying the view of the bay of Filey beach.

Step outside, and you’ll find a patio furnished with a rustic wooden table and chairs — the perfect place for morning coffee or evening meals. It overlooks a lush communal garden where little ones can play and adults can unwind, all within view.

What makes our cottage truly special is that it’s more than just a rental — it’s our second home. As owners, we stay here often, which means we’re always looking at it with fresh eyes. If something isn’t quite right, we fix it. We’ve created a space we love, and we hope you’ll love it too.
