Wilkes Pied-a-Terre delar sitt namn och byggnad med vår ursprungliga Wilkes House-fastighet, och är en 2: e våningen lägenhet belägen ovanför den berömda fruen. Wilkes matsal. Du kommer vakna varje morgon till den vackra Jones Street, där kullerstenar och gamla ekar som drar i spanska moss tvingas Southern Living Magazine för att kalla den "Prettiest Street in America."

Rik på arkitektoniska detaljer, har detta hem ursprungliga golv i trägolv, eldstäder i marmor och 12 tak som kompletteras med ståtlig inredning. Njut av utsikten över Jones Street från ditt vardagsrum, där en plattskärms-TV diskret är borttagen i hallen. Den anslutande matsalen har massor av ljusa och vackra antika möbler. Det nyrenoverade köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för en weekendresa eller längre vistelse, inklusive tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

This is a wonderful, spacious property in a great area of town. Loved that a free lunch was included with the stay of 3 nights or more! The food was delicious!! So easy to get around and we were within walking distance of so many places. We had a wonderful stay. Would definitely return to this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Located on the most sumptuous brick paved street we found our pied-a-terre. The fact that it sits atop the iconic Mrs. Wilkes is already a dream come true, but our minds were blown when we made our way inside. We felt as if we had entered someone's home. And I must add it's a LARGE home. Three large rooms, front to back, not including the kitchen with all the necessities including a washer and dryer; and bathroom with a handsomely tiled walk in shower and counter space for days. And just for kicks, a rear patio with table and chairs. Each room is gorgeously decorated with art and antiques. There were two TV's, internet service and a/c. My partner always wanted to gather in the front room to discuss the day's adventures or unwind after a day spent out. A lot of care is put into this space. The pictures online cannot do it justice. I will definitely check here first whenever I come back to Savannah. Additionally, I would actually plan a trip back to Savannah just to stay in this gorgeous space!

From the front door to the back door, everything was excellent. The added bonus of getting a free lunch at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room was a pleasant surprise. We've already told our friends about this place and highly recommend it.

The apartment was perfect! It was like stepping back into time with all the antiques. I felt as if I had visited somewhere a President had stayed. The location was perfect for walking to see all there is to do in downtown Savannah.

Perfect location, and historic vibe.

Loved our stay at Wilkes’ House. Easy to walk around town and see everything. Home was comfy and super clean - and kept the old charm, which is what drew us there to begin with. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is absolutely no better location to stay in Savannah than this perfect rental! We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go, from Forsyth Park to the River District, every single day. Never needed to call for a ride or take the bus, even! The unit was very clean and comfortable. Lunch at Mrs. Wilke's in the building was incredible, and the traffic from the restaurant was never an issue whatsoever during our stay because of their limited hours. When visiting Savannah in the future, I will certainly seek out this rental first!

My husband and I stayed for a weekend and it was perfect! The history of the building is well preserved with modern updates in the kitchen and bath. We really enjoyed meeting other travelers during our delicious lunch at Mrs. Wilkes.

Perfect visit

What a beautiful rental place! Great location, you can walk the entire old town. The apartment is so spacious you feel guilty using it for just two people. Such nice antique fixtures and modern kitchen and bathroom.

And Elegant Place from the Past

Loved the high ceilings, curving walls, furnishings, furniture, layout, and more. The location was great, with Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room right downstairs. They had excellent food and plenty of it. Despite the age of the place, it smelled fine and was plenty warm despite it being cold and rainy outside. Beautiful place inside and out.
