Välkommen till Walker Lanikai Beach House. John Walker, var en skottsman som gick till Hawaii som en ung man på 1870-talet för att bli en entreprenör av val till Queen Liliuokalani, och upprätta sådana anmärkningsvärda byggnader som biskopsmuseet och Honolulu Hale.

Herr. Walker inbjudande närvaro känns i strukturen av detta, hans favorit gömställe på Lanikai Beach. Även om vi bara är med i anda, bevaras John Walkers kärlek till Lanikai av en av hans mest vördade platser i världen.

Huvudbyggnaden har 3 sovrum, kök och stort "stort rum" med rymliga rum. Steg bort är den vita, mjuka sanden Lanikai Beach med tillgång till vattnet från den främre gräsmattan. Med en separat ingång, ligger "gäststugan" utanför entr��n, ett rum med queen size-säng och en liten salong med pentry (sover upp till 4). En annan privat inträde "båthus" sitter ovanför garaget - komplett med eget vardagsrum, kök, badrum och Lanai. "Boathouse" har också ett loftområde med dubbelsäng som kan vara lämplig för små barn (sover 2-4). Detta är det klassiska Lanikai Beach House - för dem som letar efter en avslappnad och avkopplande semester vid stranden av en av världens bästa stränder!

Obs: FEB 23-28, 2019 kommer "båthuset" att vara ockuperat och inte tillgängligt för uthyrningsgäster (separat enhet).

Amazing home and location

The property was amazing. The home had massive windows to enjoy the ocean views and the breezes along with great ameneties like ceiling fans and fully equipped kitchen. The location was perfect as well as the family could snorkle just off the deck and also go for hike close by. The management team was extremely responsive and flexible.

When we walked around the wall from the kitchen and saw the view, all of us said "Wow!".The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and bedrooms comfortable (although note there is only a king mattress in the cottage's primary bedroom), and there are plenty of beach chairs and toys in the garage. The decor is chic but comfortable. This is a superb 'beachy' beach house in a great location.

Paradise on Lanikai

The property has spectacular beachfront views. The great room was everyone's favorite room. It has huge windows which overlook the ocean and has plenty of room for everyone to gather. The Cottage and Boat house were perfect for the family members with little ones. They had their own space for down time and napping. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, small appliances and pantry items. We did a lot of cooking with our large family. The property had everything that you could want for the beach; beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards , sand toys, snorkeling gear, coolers, a beach wagon, floats, etc. Property mangers were very easy to work with and very accommodating. We honestly could not of had a better experience. It was a trip of a lifetime for our family and the perfect property for us.

Highly recommend!

This property is even better than the pictures show. The location is excellent and the home is very well provisioned with all the necessary items and then some. The live orchids were a special touch enjoyed by many of us. The separate spaces worked well for our family of 9, including two infant grandchildren. The rental agent and property manager were very helpful and communicative. We had no issues during our rental.

When you were in the expansive great room you felt as if you were on the beach. The cottage and boat house were perfect for the families with little ones. They had their own space for down time and napping. The garage had everything you would need for the beach; beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach wagon, coolers and snorkeling gear. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware and pantry items. We did a lot of cooking with our large family. Two washers and two dryers was a definite plus. We really could not have enjoyed our stay at this property more.

Property is beautiful and perfect. A lot of space and everything a family needs for a vacation house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as much as we wanted, there were plenty of beach chairs, toys, and coolers --- truly everything you need! And the house was so comfortable and spacious! LOVED IT!

Nice quite place to stay with a great view of the ocean

Was very hard to get to the beach from the homes stairs as there were only large stones down there. The public walkway was just one house away which was not bad. We did need to drive a ways to get to anything. The home is old but very nice. We also got to use the boathouse and the cottage which were cute. All places had a kitchen which were well equipped. There is a hiking trail close to the house. They had a lot of toys and equipment for the beach which is nice if you stay there at the beach. Loved the view could see diamond head, the waves hitting the wall and the sun.

A Beach Lovers Dream Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was love at first sight, this rental was everything our group of 14 was looking for. Direct access to Lanikai beach, mellow waves, tons of sea turtles and enough space for us all to relax and hang-out. Located, walking distance from the pillbox hike and several local restaurants we couldn't ask for more. On the few occasions we decided to venture out, it was an easy drive to Oahu (30 mins) or even the North shore (1 hour).Overall the property was very clean and had many beach toys, chairs, etc. We even rented a kayak from down the street for 3 days that sat on the dock for easy access into the ocean. The kitchen was spacious enough to prepare big meals and had all appliances/tools needed. Room AC worked amazing and kept us cool and comfortable at night. Would love to come back to Walker House!

Reviewer Comments: Walker’s Lanikai Beach is quintessential Hawaii combined with luxury of a beachfront estate! 10 out of 10 for this amazing estate...1) With picture window views that make you feel like you’re on a cruise ship with the home seemingly floating on water. 2) Main house with 3 BR combined with the guest cottage suite and upstairs Boat house with full amenities like living, kitchen, bedroom and loft make it perfect for groups or multi-families.3) Split ACs in the bedrooms, cottage and boat house!4) Living room windows and floor level shutters of main house open and provide the most amazing natural A/C ocean breeze that keeps you comfortable during the summer days5) Views of the mokes from the amazing back yard with large outdoor dining table for dinners and multiple lounge chairs make for the perfect setting to chillax and take in the world class views6) Amenities are plentiful from the gas grill to the overstocked garage full of everything you can imagine to compete your beach vacation such as lounge chairs, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, double washer/dryer units, ice chests, etc.All you need to bring is your aloha spirit and make Walkers Lanikai your heaven on earth!

Beautiful house, but need more security

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Walker beach house was probably one of the few house that still have access to the famous soft sandy beach at Lanikai. We enjoyed the houses easy access to the beach, however, the house was broken in on the 2nd to the last night of our staying, more than $10,000 worth of jewelry and belongings were stolen. There were signs in the house to remind us to lock away our valuables, but my designer bags didn’t fit the small safe in the closet. We filed the police report, and they asked if there is any security cameras installed since the last burglary just a few months ago. We were also told by the police that there were few other homes were burglarized that week. I suggested to the property manager, he said he will bring it up to the owner. We understand this can happen to any where and anyone. We have been coming to Hawaii every summer for the past 20years and this was the first time it happened. I just want to bring this to the owner’s attention to install a security camera .

Reviewer Comments: We don't really have the words to describe how wonderful this vacation experience truly is, but we will try and provide some of the faces, places and spaces that helped make it so great.The Names aka "the faces":Whitney was our Booking Agent, Steven was our Estate manager, Jeremy is the Primary (aka the Boss and a darn good one), and Lisa Schultz is the reason we stayed here. Seriously, if you have the opportunity to work with Lisa, do whatever it takes to do it. She is an angel on earth who is nice enough to grace our plane with her warmth and aloha spirit. Yes the house was clean, well-stocked, and more beautiful than depicted in any picture of video we found prior to arriving (or since for that matter - Pictures do not do the property justice)We would absolutely recommend this place to others. In fact we already have, and have already started planning our return trip. The activities we enjoyed:Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, kite-surfing, luau, farmers market, swap meet, ATV tours, swimming with Sharks, and dinning outPlaces:Some of the places we enjoyed thanks to the location and easy of parking at Walker house were- Lanikai beach, Pill box hike, Ola mana hike, Whole Foods, Kailua farmer’s market, Boots and Kimo's, crepes No ka 'oi, bread and breakfast, Buzz's, and Haleiwa Joe's to name few places right in town. Plus with the easy of parking, we were able to rent cars and have access to the entire island.Spaces:The Walker house offers so much more then what a simple floor plans might depict. The Boat house loft area is a great space to relax, and melt away. After a long day at the beach or hike, it's a peaceful place where family members can clean off, relax and float away with the Hawaiian winds. The main house view is breathtakingly beautiful and what captured the majority of family member's attention and vacation hours while on the property
