Tack för ditt intresse för vår familjstuga. Byggd 2007, vår rymliga 4 sovrum stuga rymmer stora grupper och har moderna bekvämligheter som HD-TV, satellit-TV, streaming Netflix och WiFi. Arnold är beläget nära attraktioner som Bear Valley Ski Resort, Big Trees State Park, Stanislaus National Forest, Murphys historiska centrum med många restauranger och vinprovningsrum, grottor och grottor från guldlandstiden och allt som Calaveras County har att erbjuda.

Från Memorial Day helgen till Labor Day helgen har gästerna tillgång till Blue Lake Springs pool, sjöar och rec center. Gästerna använder BLS HOA-gästkortet som ligger vid kabinen och betalar gästavgifterna i rec-centeret.

Huvudnivå:

Fantastiskt rum: Ett verkligt kabinstil stort rum med välvt trätak, stora fönster med utsikt över skogen och en gasspis. Det finns gott om soffutrymme för att njuta av högupplöst TV med DirecTV, suddig spelare och inbyggda WiFi-appar inklusive streaming av Netflix.

Kök: Modernt kök med rostfria vitvaror och bänkskivor i granit. Köket är fullt utrustat med krukor och kastruller, köksredskap och diskar, skålar och bestick för de stora familjesammanträdena. Matsalen intill köket innehåller ett stort bord med plats för 6 eller mer. Halva badrummet ligger utanför köket och tvättstugan är belägen genom ingången på bakdörren.

Sovrum: ligger på huvudnivån strax utanför köket, har sovrummet en queen size-säng och ett bifogat badrum.

Däck: Stort däck ligger utanför det stora rummet genom den skjutbara glasdörren. Njut av vacker utsikt över Sierra-skogen eftersom det intilliggande partiet inte har utvecklats. Perfekt för sammankomster, en gasgrill är tillgänglig för att njuta av en grillfest på kvällen med familj och vänner. Utomhushögtalare som är anslutna till insidan av mottagaren med ett extrauttag tillåter musik från smarta telefoner eller MP3-spelare.

På övervåningen:

Loft: Öppet loftområde med utsikt över det stora rummet, innehåller drottning futon som öppnar för att sova 2. Barnen kan njuta av smart HD-TV med DirecTV, strömmande Netflix, suddighetsspelare och Nintendo Game Cube-videospel. Fullt badrum och 2 sovrum belägna intill loftet.

Sovrum 2: Queen size-säng plus tillräckligt med utrymme för att ställa in pack-n-play-spjälsäng för spädbarn (ingår och ligger i garderoben).

Sovrum 3: 2 enkelsängar

Lägre nivå:

Våningssängrum: Barns våningssängrum med dubbla våningssängar (4 bäddar). Innehåller också en futonstol med osmann som öppnar sig för att sova en vuxen eller ett barn. Halv badrum bifogat.

Spelrum: Innehåller biljardbord.

Varning: Kabinen är byggd på en kulle. Uppfarten är mycket brant och kan inte användas om det finns snö på marken. Utan snö kan någon SUV och bilar som inte är för låg till marken navigera den för att parkera i garaget. Det finns extra parkering längst ner på uppfarten, det finns trappor som går parallellt med uppfarten. Det finns också ytterligare trappor från toppen av körvägen till huvudentrén. Dessa många trappor kan vara en utmaning för äldre eller personer med ben / knäproblem. Branta uppfart är mycket vanligt i Arnold och de flesta grupper har inget problem men jag vill avslöja detta så att gästerna inte blir förvånade när de anländer.

Overall bad experience

I have rented countless properties all over the country through this site and others, and I think I have complained maybe 1 out of the 50. But I’ve never written a bad review... until now. I’m also filing a complaint with VRBO which I have never done. This cabin is nice in that it is modern with updated finishings. The downside is that it is not kept up well at all and was dirty. We ended up having to deep clean it ourselves because especially with Covid and a six-month-old, we did not feel comfortable staying there. We could not even trust that the bedding or towels were clean. The cabin is tidy upon arrival. But tidy does not equal clean. The hardwood floor from our first 10 minutes left our socks black... I took pictures.clearly no one had mopped in a long time. My mom found hair on her pillow in her room. There was dust everywhere, especially along the baseboards. I took pictures of that as well. The dust was so thick I’m not sure anyone has dusted in years. Finally, the carpet upstairs was clearly not vacuumed as there were bits on the carpet. Again took pictures of that too. We also bought sheets to lay over the sofas because they’re in an awful condition. I messaged to let the property owner know of the cleanliness issue (and a dryer issue) so they could address it with their “cleaning” company for the next guests and the response I received was basically calling me a liar because no one had said that prior to me. This is an extremely ridiculous response since my comments were not that the cleaning company has ALWAYS failed to clean, but rather THIS time it wasn’t clean. A simple “I apologize you had a bad experience but if you could please send me the photos so I can make it right” would have sufficed! I asked for the name of the cleaning company so I could contact them directly and he did not provide it. That leads me to believe that there is no cleaning company. If you’re looking for a tidy cabin, this is a great option. If you’re looking for a clean cabin, this is not the cabin for you.

Great family getaway!

We were very happy with the property! Great location for access to outdoor activities and visiting Big Trees state park. Everything was comfortable and well-equipt.

Fantastic Experience

Everything was as advertised. There was an issue with the code lock on the front door but Rob was incredibly responsive and got us into the house within minutes.

Family fun!

What a beautiful home! My family and I got the upstairs, Nana main level master and sister and her family downstairs. Playing pool with the family was a blast! The stairs are no joke! Luckily we were all able to manage pretty good. The driveway is as steep as they say, my Honda Accord scraped going up and down. We went Aug 20,2020. It was in the 80's cool at night with the window fans. The portable AC provided helped keep the main level cool during the day. We visited big trees park and can't wait to return! Thank you!

Weekend in Arnold

Overall we had a good time at the cabin. Lots of pots and pans (old) plates, glasses, etc. We found some spider webs in one of the rooms. Most of the furniture is old and the owners should invest in new bathroom towels, pot holders and kitchen towels. The driveway to the house is very steep but luckily we brought our 4x4.

Wonderful stay!

Great location! The house had most of everything we needed. We were concerned about no AC but it wasn’t an issue for us. The portable AC unit did it’s job and it was cool enough at night to cool the house down with some windows open. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed dinner on the patio every night. Lots of stairs but on a positive note it was some calorie burning we needed. We were able to pull our vans up the steep driveway. House is well equipped with entertainment for the kids.

Great house for family vacation!

Love the cabin all the space that they had. Really liked having games in the pool table to keep us busy when we were at the cabin. I would say the only downfall is that there is no AC. It wasn’t bad for us but it was a little bit warm in the upper bedrooms,It wasn’t bad for us but it was a little bit warm in the upper bedrooms, even with following the great detailed instructions that the owner left. I would highly recommend this place for a large family or couple of families to get together it’s a beautiful location!

Amazing cabin

We enjoyed staying in this cabin so much. It is very spacious with great layout and everything you need. The rooms are spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully stocked and has lots of extras that we didn’t find in other rentals. It is located on very quiet street so you definitely will have a good night sleep here. We would love to come back!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

The house accommodated our family of ten nicely and Rob was extremely accommodating to our needs. He refunded the pet fee when we decided bring the dog was not a good idea (thank goodness we didn’t bring him as he couldn’t have managed in all that snow). Parking places had been cleared of snow when we arrived and the steps. We had lots of fun playing in the snow. Thanks Rob😊

Modern, spacious and very warm and inviting

We came to this cabin for a Christmas destination! It was warm for winter and we really loved the room. We had 11 people and there was plenty of space! Top of the line appliances and everything you could need for your trip. The owners are very responsive and take pride in their home. We loved the smart tv's with Netflix and the internet was perfect for everyone to utilize there social media with slowing down. the Nintendo game cube was a hit with the kids! All in All we had a wonderful family vacation!! As previously mentioned in other reviews there are ALOT of stairs but if you are in decent shape its no worries! We had great leg workout :-) Thanks to Rob for a being a great host!

This was the perfect house for our family!

We stayed in this lovely house for a long weekend with extended family for celebrate a milestone birthday. The house is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. The teenagers especially loved the pool table. There is no central A/C, and it was quite hot the weekend we were there, but they brought in a large portable A/C unit that worked amazingly well so the house was just fine temperature wise. We visited Moaning Cavern and highly recommend it. We also hiked to some swimming holes in the area - so much fun. The owner Rob was very helpful before and during our stay, and Tracy the caretaker went over and above to help us too! (As others have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs up to the front door so not the right fit for less mobile people.)

2018 Memorial Day weekend

Good - Pet friendly. Great room layout. Lots of room. All amenities provided. Bad - Access. Very steep driveway. My daughters electric vehicle couldn't make it up. Plenty of parking near the street but she has a 17 month baby and had to climb a lot of stairs . I don't believe in 5 stars so I guess 3 out of 4 is good. Great house... just be prepared to climb a lot of stairs.

Perfect Autumn retreat

Where to start? Rob is an awesome host, very flexible and generous. The house is spacious and well designed for privacy with bedrooms on 3 floors. It was very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Access to Netflix and all kinds of great movies/TV shows on demand. Great pool table on bottom floor. Yes, the driveway is very steep. We managed it in our AWD just fine. Others in our party used the three parking spaces below and climbed up the stairs that parallel the driveway. We'd love to book again!

Excellent rental

We had a great stay here during Labor day weekend. Rob the owner was super responsive to all of our questions and the cabin was perfect for our family of 5. The property was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking and relaxing - great pool table for family fun! Highly recommended.

Perfect cabin for a family vacation - it has everything you need in a beautiful setting.

We had three kids, two adult couples and a single adult, and the bedroom arrangement was perfect. The kitchen is stocked with every kind of pot, pan and dish you would need, and the appliances are top of the line. The deck on the main floor is great for meals and is very secluded. We'll be back!

Lovely cabin in the woods

Our combined family group of 9 stayed at the cabin in July. The cabin is beautiful and completely updated with high end touches such as a Bosch dishwasher. Rob the owner was very responsive to all of our questions or concerns. The steep driveway worried me at first, but we quickly adapted and this would not prevent us from coming back in the future.

Great location! Tons of space!

The perfect cabin for two families (including 5 kids). Plenty of room to spread out, big living room, well appointed kitchen and a nice deck. Need to return to continue our pool tournament!

The cabin was perfect for our group! It was easy to get to and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed Arnold and will definitely come back again. Some highlights were the Moaning Caverns, zip lining and swimming in the lakes. The cabin was conveniently located near the market, the coffee shop and restaurants.
