Dophins every day!

Lovely location! Just the ticket for a family get away. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice patio space with a grill, fire pit and picnic tables. 50+ steps down to the beach or you can drive down, a nice option. Don is right there and very helpful if you have any questions.

Great stay

The place is better than the photos depict. About 15 min drive north of Rosarito. Very secure neighborhood. It can be annoying if you need to use an Uber or taxi because you’ll need to walk to one of the entrances but makes it safer. Cute cats hang outside on the back deck. Path down to the water.

The only issue was the smell on the top floor,

We did enjoyed the outdoors. The owner is a very nice person. He did informed us that he is going to take care of the issue with the smell .

Perfect get away place, Loved it!!

We came here for our traditional summer vacation that we take once a year and we just couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We could take a walk on the beach any time we wanted to, it's that easy of an acces to it, we fished right on the beach and almost every cast we took we had a fish, it was impressive how nice the fishing it's there. We loved the whole house, Don (the owner) the nicest guy you can meet keeps the house nice and clean, we loved everything about the house specially the balcony and terrace with the perfect ocean view that makes life worth while. Thanks Don, we'll be back next year! Luis.

Beautiful view

Owner very nice. Even after we had more people than we expected. Just paid him the extra per person charge. Was surprised he stayed in room next to garage, felt like we had less privacy. Good thing was he never once came out to say anything to us so that was good. Got unlucky and had no hot water for 2 days and there were ants in the house. Stray cats like to chill in the yard but didn't bother us. They were cute. Neighbors very particular about parking. Owner was nice enough to let us park 1 car in his garage. Overall was a good stay would stay again

Great view & size

Property was in good location, with great calming view. Don was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It was clean and is outdated but is a nice house. I think is perfect for family with kids or just for friends.

Not clean, lots of straight cats and he accused us of missing stuff.

Not clean! Stray cats, Nice guy but since we got there (Friday to Monday) he wore the same clothes (dirty) , house has some much potential but lack of maintenance and lack of cleaniness, . We sanitized, cleaned and washed all bed linings our selfs and when we left he accused us of stilling his bed covers and a clock and his shirts. Again so much potential but Not staying there again! Be my guest and get ready to deal with a Not well maintance house and hope you are not allergic to cats.

Great time relaxing location.

Overall this was everything my brothers and I were looking for. A quiet relaxing beach front property. The place feels very secure in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to a local market, a cafe and a restaurant. The property manager Don is very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely return back.

Great weekend......but!!!

let me begin by saying that the location and access to the beach was great. The owner was very attentive. The But!!! is because the house was not clean, there is pet hair everywhere and I mean everywhere, I don't know if it's from his dogs or the cats he feeds but it is pretty bad. I had to sweep a few times to get rid of it as much as possible. The cats come around and I believe they killed a rat which they left right by the back door which was full of ants therefore we washed it up. I would stay again if I was guaranteed that it was cleaned up properly. Also I can appreciate the love for animals but since this property is a rental the owner should consider his guests allergies and animal preferences also. Other than that we did not let it stop us from enjoying our family weekend.

Right on the beach!!

Loved the views from the balcony and the outdoor patio/terrace. The private steps down to the sandy beach are well maintained. The community pool was closed due to Covid-19, but the area looked clean and the pool was a good size. Don warned us about the stray cats around the property and he is working to spay/neuter and remove them which is a very kind gesture, but if you are alergic perhaps this is not the best option for you. Cat hair is very persistent and hard to get off the sofas and the patio furniture. Overall we had a great stay!

Dolphins View

It was great, the view is awesome, can hear the ocean waves thru your window. Don Avery, the owner, communicated well with us the direction to his place. So glad to meet him. We had a great time, his place is not too far from Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo area. Will come back again, possibly summer time

Cozy home with a great atmosphere

Donald was very attentive. He showed us around the home and made himself available. The house is located steps away from a private beach in a gated community with stores and restaurants within the proximity. The surroundings are very safe and each house has their own personality.

What a treat!

The charm of the beachouse and the area and the views are priceless. If you expect 5 star lodging, go somewhere else. BUT if you want true Mexico and all the flavors and sounds that go with this cliff dwelling community and of the ocean, you'll find it here! Rest, relaxation and plenty of room. Wonderfull place!

This place is a hidden gem, the view is amazing and the patio has many great features. Donald was a great host, thank you for all the hospitality. We will miss this place. :)
