Owl's Nest är en avskild timmerskydd stuga som ligger på 14 tunnland utanför en privat uppfart omgiven av Forest Service. Bekvämt beläget bara 3. 5 miles från Downtown Murphy där du kan njuta av shopping, antikviteter, restauranger / barer. Det finns mycket att göra och se om du letar efter en avkopplande upplevelse "få en väg från allt" medan du sitter på hyttdäck med utsikt över skogen, njut av en lugn kväll på lägerelden eller vill våga ut och utforska området.

Vandring, fiske kanot, mountainbike allt inom några minuter från stugan. Ta en 30 minuters bilresa för att njuta av forsränning på vattnet på antingen Ocoee eller Nantahala-floden, zip-foder, kajakpaddling eller ridning. Nära till John C. Campbell Folkskola där du kan njuta av konserter, ta klasser och delta på den välkända Höstfestivalen i oktober. Nära till Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Blue Ridge Scenic Parkway, Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds, Joyce Kilmer National Forest, The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, The Biltmore House och the Tail of the Dragon för cyklisterna. Ligger 5 miles från Harrah's Valley River Casino. The Cabin ligger inom 2 timmar från Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Tennessee och 30 minuters vacker bilresa till Blue Ridge, Georgia.

Stugan har cellservice, gratis wifi, satellit-tv, en utomhusgasgrill och utomhuslägereldområde. Köket är fullt utrustat med redskap och servis. Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls. Ägarna bor på fastigheten. Medlemmar i Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.

A Perfect Place for s

The cabin was Serene, a Perfect size, and more than cozy. It was a perfect place to come to at the end of the day to relax and reload. Mrs. Costello was a wonderful host, thoughtful, considerate, and responsive to our needs.

1 week at Owl's Nest

First off the place is awesome! We were at the Owl's Nest for 1 week with a trailer and a bike. There is not a lot of maneuvering space but we were able to make it work. The hosts are great! Really facilitated our stay. The cabin is cozy but we had everything we needed and more. Randy spreads feed almost every day so you are sure to see deer and turkey feeding where the fire pit is located. Cabin is secluded but the owners live down the street (out of view) in case you need anything. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be going back....

Quiet setting, but close to everything

Cabin was cozy and well stocked. There was plenty of information about area restaurants and attractions, as well as instructions on using the AC, TV and washer/dryer. The hosts thought of everything. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Awesome Stay!

Staying at the Owl’s Nest was such a nice getaway for us. It was so clean and nice and always smelled really nice when we came back inside after being gone. Randy and Janice were great hosts! We’ll definitely stay there again!

Beautiful location, comfortable cabin

Great spot for a couples getaway. Only 10 minutes from downtown Murphy but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Great hiking trails and vineyards nearby too.

Charming Cabin

My wife and I were in town taking classes at the Folk School, and this cabin was a lovely retreat. It was cozy without us feeling on top of each other, well stocked with toiletries, dishes, laundry, etc., and gave us that secluded mountain feeling while still being conveniently located near main roads. We would gladly stay here again, and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for their next getaway!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Owl’s Nest. It is very conveniently located to Murphy’s restaurants and stores while the cabin’s location is in a lovely wooded area. We liked the carved wooden Owl’s Nest sign pointing the way to the cabin.

Excellent stay!

Clean property, very pleasant, loved sitting on the porch and listening to the rain. We're contemplating visiting this property again. We recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away and just have peace and quiet. Close to town and restaurants, etc. if one wanted to do that, but also close to plenty of hiking and outdoorsy things .

Perfect cabin & location

I absolutely loved this cabin and its location, it is super clean & cozy and has everything you could need for your stay. Very conveniently located. Gorgeous wooded area with perfect porch, I had a magnificent experience witnessing about 15-20 deer about the property this morning around sunrise! Downtown Murphy has so many great shops and restaurants! Downtown

We came to Murphy in 1996 from Lake Mary, Florida, on vacation and fell in love with this mountain town and surrounding areas. We purchased a home while on vacation and 1 year later we decided to move here permanently. Our dream was to build a cabin on our property where others could come and enjoy the mountains.
