Här är en vacker 20-årig stuga som ligger på 86 meter privat
strandlinjen på Galway Lake. Galway Lake är ett privatägt 550 tunnland
sjö med sju miles från kusten ligger i västra Saratoga
County i staden Galway. Stugan ligger i en vik på
södra kanten av Galway Lake i Maywood Grove med vacker utsikt
av de nordliga kullarna. En liten bäck gränsar till sidan av
egendom och funktioner under och efter regnoväder. Webbplatsen är
ligger i en lantlig lund av en återvändsgränd väg, vilket säkerställer en
privat och lugn oas. Det är också minuter till viktiga platser.

Saratoga Race Track och Saratoga Performing Arts Center ligger bara 15 minuter bort. Två golfbanor är fem minuter och fantastiska restauranger ligger några minuter bort. Stora återförsäljare ligger bara 10 minuter bort. Många attraktioner är i det omgivande området. Stugan ligger 15 minuter från avfart 26 i New York State Thruway och 20 minuter från exit 12 av Adirondack Northway.

Denna vackra A-ram ligger på en tre tunnland sluttande mycket med
gott om parkeringsplatser. Fastigheten har en utfart som leder till posten
gångväg. Det finns sten stigar, trädgårdar och belysning i
vackert anlagd trädgård. Det finns en privat 16-fots docka med en
sandstrand område. Stugan är inte utrustade med båtar, men
du kan ta med egen båt, så länge det inte finns några bensin
motorer. Trollingmotorer är tillåtna. Roddbåtar, kajaker, kanoter,
och segelbåtar är tillåtna på Galway Lake. Det finns ett skjul på
egendom för enkel förvaring. En gasgrill, uteplats bord och stolar är
försedd

Stugan har ett stort sovrum på första våningen med en dubbel
säng och ett loft på övervåningen med två enkelsängar. Soffan drar ut
i en stor säng. Stugan är fullt möblerad och sängkläder är
försedd. Det finns ett fullt fungerande kök med en full storlek
kylskåp och elspis. En kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn, och
brödrost finns. Det finns ett stort vardagsrum och en mycket stor
matplats med ett stort bord och förvaring garderob. Interiören är
sammansatt av kvistig furu väggar och tak. Det är överdimensionerade
fönster i fronten med en altandörr som leder till överdimensionerade
däck, med utsikt över sjön. Två takfläktar hålla stugan sval
på de fuktiga dagar.

Stugan kommer med skräp service, premium digital kabel och fast telefonstjänst. Hyresperioder anges i hyreskostnaderna.

Quiet and peaceful lake house...

We had a very nice stay at this property. The manager was there when we arrived to show us the property. It was clean and there was a lot of attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable. We had our two older kids in the loft (11 and 12). The ladder to the loft is easy to navigate for older kids, but I wouldn't recommend putting kids under 5 up there. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and there is a nice grill outside. Be sure to read the welcome letter as there are a few things they recommend you bring, such as, towels. The wifi worked well and the YouTubeTV was a nice bonus for the kids. Galway lake holds a charm that will never go away. You will love this place!

Galway Lake Retreat

Can’t get any closer to the lake than this - it’s just a few steps outside the door. Adorable cabin was very comfortable, kitchenette worked well for our needs, and WiFi was key. View from the deck can’t be beat. Lake is nice and calm, we brought our kayak and paddle board and used them every day. We’re already planning our next stay!

Peaceful, comfortable property in beautiful setting

My wife and I tremendously enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious, well equipped and in excellent shape. The peaceful setting and the ever changing, serene view onto the lake make this a perfect place for relaxing and decompressing. We also used this location as convenient base for excursions to Saratoga Springs, along Lake George to Ticonderoga and into the southern Adirondacks for hiking. William is a fantastic host!! Overall, one of our best vacations ever.

Peaceful and relaxing get away

This comfortable and cozy cabin sits right on Lake Galway. Views of the lake are visible from most of the windows, and the back deck offers a private spot to sip coffee and watch the water. There is a little creek that runs beside the cabin (bedroom side); leave the window slightly open and you will have the best white noise for falling asleep at night! The kitchen is well-equipped for anyone needing to make their own meals. Due to our drive time we were scheduled to arrive very late, and the owner was very accommodating of our schedule. If we need to travel to upstate NY in the future, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

My 9 year old was in the lake all day. Or looking for frogs/salamanders in the stream. We ate out on the deck every night. Made S’mores in the outdoor fireplace. I was able to work during the week as well with the great WiFi connection. We had a blast during our week stay.

Great spot

The property was is a prime location for rest and relaxation. Fishing and kayaking was amazing, my children had no problem catching huge fish and going out on the kayak. The waters were calm and no motorized boats makes it safe for children of any age. The July 4th fireworks display around the lake was second to none and all were viewed perfectly from the back yard. Very quiet on all other days and very private.

Peaceful lakeside camp

We had a very peaceful week on this beautiful lake. Everyone was content. Kids could fish,swim and row a small boat. They loved sleeping in the loft. Adults could read and relax and watch the fish jump and the birds fly overhead. Beautiful at night also for campfires and sleep! Also having wifi and tv was key on the rainy days. Owners are accommodating to your personal needs. Will be back next year!

Quiet, beautiful

We had a great time at Galway - the lake is beautiful and quiet - there are no gas motors allowed, so sailboats, canoes and kayaks are the order of the day. We spent a lot of time kayaking, bird watching and sitting on the large deck enjoying the peace and the view. The water is clear, although this year there are a lot of weeds in the water, which wouldn't be ideal for swimming near the shore. This is a well constructed nicely kept cottage with comfortable furniture that you won't worry about the kids hurting. Cable tv and secure wireless network worked great; our ATT phones had intermittent reception, but there is a land line you can use for local calls. The kitchen (or more accurately, kitchenette) has a new toaster, coffee maker and a small microwave. The refrigerator is full sized and there is a 4 burner stove top; no oven. Propane gas grill in the yard. Clean sheets provided, no towels. The original A-frame had only a sink and toilet, but there's a stall shower in the newer part of the cottage. The cottage has running water but the water is out of the lake and not drinkable. The landlord will provide two large containers of drinking water and there is a public tap nearby for additional water. There's a local farmers market on Fridays and plenty of nearby farm stands for fresh produce, eggs and maple syrup. The site is quite steep, but we were able to walk my 90 year old father-in-law down - would not be suitable for anyone with impaired mobility. This was a beautiful place to be - no bright lights but a lovely quiet retreat. Saratoga is 15 minutes away if you'd like more excitement!

This property is directly on the water, yet offers a private setting. As you drive off the main road into Maywood Grove, you are greeted by private roads and trails that lead to the cottage. At the cottage, you have views of the entire lake and not of your neighbors. We are secluded, but close to everything and Saratoga.
