Dijkstra huset ligger inbäddat vid sidan av Mount Agassiz i hjärtat av de vita bergen på 7 hektar. Huset, designat av den holländska arkitekten Tjeerd Dijkstra, är en modern post- och strålkonstruktion. Huset är mindre än 2 miles från centrum.
Den har stora fönster som ger en vidsträckt utsikt över dalen och omgivande moutains.

På första våningen finns ett stort vardagsrum med en tegel spis, 46 tums TV och katedralen taket; ett fullt utrustat modernt kök med högkvalitativa bekvämligheter, inklusive en induktionspanna; mikrovågsugn, väggugn, kylskåp och diskmaskin.

Huset är också utrustat med en verkstad, trådlöst internet, ett lera rum med tvättmaskin och torktumlare, stort däck med barnsäkerhetsskenor, utemöbler och en kolgrill.

På andra våningen finns fyra sovrum: ett med en king size-säng, en två dubbelsängar och handfat, en en dubbelsäng våningssäng och handfat. och ett mindre fjärde bäddsrum bäst lämpat för barn / tonåring.

Great Stay, As Usual

This is my third time staying at this property and it was just as amazing! The cleanliness of the property was immaculate. Location is perfect for me, which is why I have atayed here three times. I was comfortable, had everything I could possibly need or want on site and the property owners are very communicative and responaive to any needs. Since I last stayed, they have even upgraded several appliances. It was a perfect stay and I will definitely book again!

Beautiful hideaway in a unique house.

Really loved the house and the owners were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with... the only issue we had was extremely slow internet service which made it tricky to plan our rainy day activities, but otherwise made for a great vacation away from those distractions...

Beautiful Mountain Home

This beautiful home is located on a private gravel road up on a mountain top overlooking the valley below. Great views from the deck and inside through the huge windows. Home was immaculate and very well equipped with everything we needed. King bed was very comfortable. Easy communication with owners. Town of Bethlehem was a short 10 min drive away. The Rek-Lis microbrew has excellent food & brews, the general store was nicely provisioned, and the larger town of Littleton was 20 minutes away. Great location, close to main roads and highway to get to all the area’s activities. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Fantastic view and very clean

We liked the view, the location and the privacy of this very unique rental. We were not so happy with the very small bathrooms or bedroom. The view is beautiful and that alone will make many guests very happy. Lots of games and books were available. The home is built rock solid and it is truly unique. Several improvements should be considered IMO. A spa should be added outside to take advantage of the view. Dry and split firewood should be available and the fireplace needs to be repaired so anyone can operate the flue. The single older TV should be replaced with a new HD large screen available under $400. A 2nd TV should be considered for the main bedroom upstairs. There isn't a view from any of the bedrooms or dining area but some interesting art could be added to the walls to make the rooms more exciting. We love the area and think a few small improvements would add a huge advantage for the guests.

Second Times Also A Charm

This was my second time staying at this property. I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It was clean, beautiful, had amazing views, and a great location. Location. My family and I had the best vacation ever. I would highly recommend this house as it is located in the middle of all the major attractions. It is comfortable, extremely clean and the host is wonderful. I have absolutely nothing negative to say whatsoever.

Beautifully designed, amazing view

We had a wonderful stay at the Dikjstra House. Close to hikes and town, but quiet and private. The view is the star and the living room and deck take full advantage. Comfortable, with all conveniences - felt like a welcoming home rather than the cold, generic feeling of some rentals. Window A/Cs came in handy during our stay in 90 degree heat, but don’t imagine that is a frequent problem. Would happily stay again!

Fantastic base for Franconia Notch State Park

Floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views, spacious open plan living area, and a perfect base for exploring Franconia Notch and the surrounding area. Kitchen was particularly well-equipped, all linens were provided, and the provision of basics like paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap was appreciated. Our family of three didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay! Highly recommend.

Incredible mountain getaway!!

My family and I had an amazing time in Bethlehem, NH at this wonderful property! The house itself is beautifully designed, clean, spacious and unique. The huge windows in the living room look out to a gorgeous view that really takes your breath away. The owners made sure that the instructions were clear, and were always immediately available to help us if we needed anything. Although it is remote and tucked away, it was also an easy drive to the grocery store as well to get food and supplies. We would absolutely stay there again. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!!

Amazing, Amazing Property!

This house was amazing! The pictures don't even do it justice. It was an amazing space for a family vacation. The main area is open and large.. There was a cute kids area with some toys and games that my kids flocked to. Furniture was comfortable and cozy and there was a huge picture window with an amazing mountain view. Deck was also georgous and equipped with BBQ which we enjoyed. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and my kids loved the loft beds. The house was meticulously clean and comfortable. House was stocked with anything you could need or want. Netflix was included on TVs. Jenn was excellent and available for all questions we had. The location was really good and right in the middle of all of the activities we were doing. There was even a good resturant and a small grocery store less than 5 minutes away. House is on a private road and it feels super private. Ample parking spaces and laundry amenities too. I will definatly stay again at this property and recommend to anyone else as well.

Beautiful retreat

The Dijkstra House is truly an oasis of beauty in the mountain woods, with all the amenities of home. The view from the living room is spectacular. When we Zoomed with our family for a birthday party they were convinced it was a virtual background. I loved going out at night, sitting under the pergola and seeing the Big Dipper in front of me and the Milky Way above, The only downside (for me) is my wife is now in love with induction cooking,,,,

Beautiful property and view

We rented this property at the end of august and were truly impressed. The property and the views were amazing It was remote and offered us privacy however it’s just a short drive to the town. It made a great location to do day trips and hikes. We loved seeing wildlife (deer) in the evening as well. Jenn was a pleasure to work with and was very prompt to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this place.

lovely location

We were three couples enjoying a fall weekend while attending a wedding. The house is very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The view is wonderful! While the bed arrangements are likely best for families (one room had bunkbeds) the living room and kitchen space were great. We would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at this house with our 2 young kids. We had a great experience- loved the calm, clean vibe of the home, the gorgeous view, convenient location, and 3 amazing bear sitings! The house was good for kids, as there was a play area and they loved their bedrooms (though it got pretty hot in the rooms they chose). My favorite part was the enormous living room window with a view.

Fantastic views from a swiss style chalet

The Dijkstra house was very comfortable with beautiful views of the valley below out the large window in the sitting area and a very well designed kitchen and laundry area. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans and utensils to make the home very functional. The home feels open and warm with its simple design. There are lots of hiking and outdoors activities all within about 30 minutes of leaving the house.

Great Views and an amazing location. Incredibly peaceful.

Clean. Comfortable and Relaxing. What a beautiful home with such style and finesse. The pictures for this property do not do this home justice. If your looking for privacy and solitude look no further because youve found it. The beds are very comfortable along the rest of the furniture and the layout is nice and open with plenty of room for everyone to have some space. The kitchen is well equipped with excellent appliances. (I love to cook and was blown away by the stove and oven,most vaca rentals do not have this level of quality). As for Jenn (my contact for the property), she was absolutely wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and she even made sure we arrived ok! Its obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and make the extra effort to care for their guests. -Podlejski Family

Beautiful house, fantastic views

Hi, My family of a toddler, pre-schooler, husband and I, had a wonderful time at the Dijkstra House. Jen was very easy to talk to, and gave us lots of tips on what to do. The house is beautiful, functional, and had everything we could ask for. The galley kitchen was very well equipped, there were toys/board games to keep the kids entertained all day, and even on a rainy day. The views were gorgeous, we could just spend all day at this house, without having to venture out. The backyard has wild flowers, that my older one loved to pick. We used the grill, and relaxed on the patio. The wrap-around deck proved a hit with both kids playing hide and seek! The books were a nice touch, and we enjoyed them as well. A special shout out to Mike Heath, the care-taker. We took a wrong turn uphill, and got stuck, trying to reach the house. He was so kind to tow us out. The house is easily accessible, a gently down slope from Mt.View Rd. Mike also helped us figure out the washer :) We were being too careful and did not want to use too much force, to open the door. Can't wait to come back to this house! Thanks Jen and Mike!
