För dig som tycker om stranden är färjan till södra Venedigs privata strand en snabb cykeltur bort (pass ingår i hyran). Enkel åtkomst till shopping, matställen och timmar med utomhusunderhållning eller så kan du smutta på en cool vid din egen privata pool ... behöver du fler bilder? Bara låt mig veta!

Mellan stränderna, poolen och parken kanske du inte befinner dig inuti mycket, men hemmet har tre tv-apparater med comcast-kabel och gratis wifi.

När det gäller Venedig, kommer denna charmiga strandstad att bli ditt hem hemifrån. Känd som världens huvudhaj och njut av promenader längs de lokala stränderna och letar efter dessa små souvenirer. Ta en kort bilresa ner till Sharkey's på piren för en solnedgången dryck eller god måltid. Se delfinerna, ta med en fiskestång eller bara se solen gå ner längs vattnet i viken. Venedigs stränder inkluderar bevarande av parker, fågelreservat, kanot, kajakpaddling, vandring och cykelleder. Property location was excellent. Two minute bike ride to the park and close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Probably the best location in my opinion of anywhere we've stayed. My youngest son stayed in the pool whenever we were at the house. The host has basically anything you need at the property which was really nice.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was great, perfect for our family of 4, it was close to all the beaches and food! The neighborhood was very peaceful. The communication with the host was great! We had zero issues! We will be booking here again!

Very comfortable home in a terrific location. You can easily take day trips to Sarasota, Bradenton, Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island, it's all so easy to do from Venice. And make sure you explore Venice too! (I highly recommend Scoops in town for ice cream.) From the cozy beds, to your own private pool, this home is so much better than a hotel hands down!! We've been here before and always look forward to an opportunity to stay at this home again. The owner Jason always makes us feel so welcomed and appreciated, and his communication is first rate.

Vacation from the cold

We booked this house based on the great reviews. This house had everything we needed for a wonderful two week stay. The house is next door to a beautiful park and biking trails that go forever! The owner provides bikes and beach gear! They have thought of everything you would need for a perfect stay.

Fantastic Venice experience

I try to visit different areas each year and this stay was AMAZING. The neighborhood was fantastic, the house was spottless, the pool and lanai and back yard were the star of the show! Couldn't of asked for a better outdoor area. The 8 foot tall privacy fence not only offered great privacy like you were in your own little resort but it was secure enough my 5 lb dog couldn't get out. I will definitely be returning.

Shark teeth capital!

Jason is an awesome owner. Always in touch with us. Any issues and he will fix it immediately! House is lovely and has a heated pool and nice size yard. Everything you could want or need is there! We found about 300 shark teeth while visiting the local beachs! We will be staying here again!

Venice life

We visited Venice, FL for the month of January. Although the weather was all over the place we enjoyed our stay and the house had all that you could possibly need. The owner was readily available and helpful. Easy,friendly communication. We didn’t get to use the pool due to cooler temps and just doing all the things to do in the Venice/Sarasota area, but the pool/ lanai area is a great spot to just chill out . Shamrock park is so, so close and a delight for walking, and biking. The month went by so quickly! Really enjoyed our time in the area and at the house.

The ferry pass was a real plus spent several days on that beach. Very comfortable home. Jason had lots of extras available sunscreen sunglasses shampoos toothbrushes anything you might of forgot. Well stocked kitchen for spices and condiments. Even beach necessities in the garage along with bicycle s. Perfect place for a family. Would recommend to anyone especially if flying in and can’t take all these extras on a plane. Loved the heated and very private pool!

Perfect Place To Stay

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, well maintained, comfortable and well supplied. All appliances worked well, cable was better than we expected plus the benefits of being able to use your laptop. The location was great! We enjoyed riding bikes (which were provided by the owners) in Shamrock Park and along the intertal costal water way. The beaches we enjoyed were Manasota and Nakomis. We enjoyed the Venice Theater and also the town of Venice. Venice has great shopping and many fine restaurants. The pool was EXCELLENT, it has a solar cover so the water temperature was perfect. The owners was accomadating and extremely easy to deal with, they want your to enjoy their home. We're looking forward to returning.

Nice house and Neighborhood

Had a water pressure problem when we arrived due to clogged water softener. Took a couple of days to get it fixed. Coffee maker didn’t work. Owner was very responsive though and very accommodating.

House Filthy!

I would love to send pictures! The house was filthy. Beds had been slept in, I have pictures to show blood or something on sheets and also a clot of blood. Every room was discussing, even put our beach towels down to sit on furniture. We used paper towels to open doors as they were dirty. The pictures do NOT show the real home but my pictures do! First time using VRBO and this house needs removed!!!!! Not sure if this is what all VRBO homes look like??

GREAT FAMILY PLACE, GREAT OWNER!

The location is great! Right by Shamrock park. We walked our dogs around the waters edge just 2 blocks from the house! The pool was warm and the AC cool! The BEST Thing about this house is that it is WELL STOCKED! Usually you end up having to buy stuff at walmart. Not Here! Everything we needed was here. Kitchen is well stocked with everything imaginable. AS for the beach, umbrellas, toys, ice chest, diggers to sift for shark teeth, everything. I would have spent quite a bit of money buying these things and then leaving them there! Very impressed. They even have extra sunglasses and reading glasses for us! WOW> THank you Jason for letting us bring our dogs and for everything! We WILL be back! Greg and Tracy

Venice in July

The House was in a great location. Close walk to the community park, 5 min drive to the beach, or a 5 min drive to the ferry to the private beach. One Word to describe Quiet. Where this house is located there was no through traffic. Quiet street with great friendly neighbors. The pool is large enough to enjoy, but with the beach so close we didn't use the pool much. July however may be a little too hot for some, being in the mid to upper 90's. A great location to start from. Boca Grande to the south, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda to the east, Sarrasota to the north and Sunsets to the west. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great quiet place, close to everything far enough away to slow down and relax, where you can take your pet to, at an affordable price. The owner, Jason, is a friendly fellow who cares about more than the money, he wants you to have a great time. Everything you need he has there for the beach even the scoop to find sharks teeth with. We found 109 sharks teeth in about 3hrs. If I don't buy a house there myself, I will schedule this property again.

Meet our Expectations

This was our second stay in the South Venice area and we really enjoyed our vacation. It is a great neighborhood, close to Walmart, Shamrock Park, Legacy Trail and only minutes from the beaches. This year was better because we knew our way around the area. As any homeowner knows sometimes things happen that you cannot control. When we arrived the AC unit had quit working and it was 84 in the house. Luckily storms had came through and the outside temp was only 75 that night so we could open the windows. Jason got the unit repaired the next day so we just enjoyed the pool until the house cooled down. We like the layout of the home and the fact it has a covered porch area with table and chairs which is where we spent most of out time after a swim. Backyard has a wonderful pool, lots of beautiful shrubs and for the most part private. Gas grilled was used and worked great. Home was very clean and everything you should need is provided. The reason we give it a 4 and not a 5 is the bathrooms are 1970's style and need updating and there is no dishwasher or ice maker. We grew up without all three so we survived others may not. Overall we were happy with the home and plan on returning again next year. Hopefully in a few years we can find a home like it in the general area to purchase. We just love the Venice area.and are ready to go back.today.

Very Nice Vacation Home

We were at Jason's home for a week, January 4 through 11, and enjoyed our stay. It was quite cool that week, we weren't able to use the pool. However, we really enjoyed sitting out on the patio/lanai area every day as much as possible. We absolutely loved the neighborhood the home is located in. We would really like to purchase a vacation home in this area, too. Shamrock Park, which is basically right down the street, is a very easy walk. One of the paved trails/walkways is right along the Intercoastal Waterway, which is absolutely beautiful! People ride bikes there, walk, etc. It's a great place. We also took the ferry over to the private beach, which was like a five-minute ride, seeing pelicans all over. The weather was in the mid-70-'s that day, and it was great. Many people were sitting out at the beach, and we took a long walk along the beach. There were hundreds of seashells there to collect & people were looking for shark's teeth. There was plenty of shopping in this area, several beaches. Historic Venice was very nice with lot of cute shops to walk through. We liked this home, but, unfortunately, the night we arrived there was no heat, and it was during Florida's cold spell. We phoned Jason that evening, and he told us to call a local plumber, but the plumber said he was required to speak to the owner, but it all got straightened out, and he came out the next morning and replaced the thermostat, cleaned the overhead vents, then the heat worked fine. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, but we are used to a king-sized bed at home, so we were a little crowded. The home was extremely well stocked, and we only had to purchase our actual meals. All of the staples were already there, including paper towels, toilet paper, washcloths, towels, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee, filters, etc., etc., just real nice. One of the things I would change about the home is to provide more lighting in the living room/dining room area. There is a ceiling fan above the dining room table, but no light in it. There was no overhead lighting in the living or dining room, only a couple of lamps with dark shades, which made it difficult to read at times in the evenings. We would definitely stay at Jason's home again. He was very nice to talk to and very helpful.
