Fantastic location!

This was such a wonderful location. It made our stay in Athens effortless. Everything we wanted to do was a walk or short train ride away. The rooftop has a beautiful view of acropolis, and we spent every night enjoying a bottle of wine and talking about our day. Thank you for the honeymoon memories!!

We were thrilled with the apartment and the proximity to the Acropolis. What a treat to look out from the patio to see the side view . Close to groceries,restaurants and transportation.

Perfect place for a stay in Athens!

We did not know we had such a gem when we booked this location! The Acropolis Lodge is situated perfectly in Plaka. Close to the action but quiet at night. The host was very responsive to our questions. Very clean and we had everything we needed. If we return, we will stay here again!

Comfortable stay with amazing location

You can't ask for a better location in Athens - feels like the center of Plaka with shops, cafes, restaurants, a mini market, Metro, and the museum within a very short walk. Rooftop terrace is great for relaxing in the evening, and location is only steps off the beaten path, so it's quiet and feels very safe. Clear and easy directions from host, clean place, with all the basics travellers need.

Great 3 Day Stay

Stay for the view and walkability of the city center in Plaka. Everything was in walking distance. AC was great for warmer days and the upstairs patio has a great view of the Acropolis. The only con that stood out to us was that there was no hot water. Thanks, Kyle and Steffi

Review of JJ Hospitality property in Plaka

Small, but very clean apartment near the Acropolis. Very nice, lovely neighborhood. Only 2 small suggestions for the owners: provide a box of tissues and a few extra towels. None of these are deal breakers and probably have more to do without American expectations.

Le Charme de Plaka en duplex !

Séjour parfait en famille dans cet appartement refait neuf et trÚs agréable. Excellemment bien situé et calme malgré l'animation du quartier. L'appartement a été rénové avec goût et permet un accÚs facile, à pieds, aux différents sites d'AthÚnes. Restaurants, boutiques sont à proximité immédiate. Excellents contacts avec JJ Hospitality qui est toujours disponible et réactif pour vous assister au besoin (réservation transfer aéroport par exemple). SystÚme de remise/ dépÎt des clefs trÚs facile et pratique. Nous recommandons fortement !

Convenient property in the heart of Plaka

The location of this property can't be beat! It's in the heart of Plaka, super close to many shops and restaurants, and an easy walk to all the attractions in the neighborhood as well as nearby areas of Syntagma, Psiri and Monastiraki. It also has a great view of the Acropolis (and we even spied our Vrbo from the top). Communication with the host was fantastic, the property is large and well stocked, and the condition of everything was good. We had a few minor issues during our stay (showerhead wasn't attached until the last day, the hot water situation is a bit complicated, and the sofa bed was not made so we had to make the bed ourselves), but we overall had a great stay and would return the next time we're in Athens.

Perfect quiet spot

This is right next to so many attractions with lots of tourists, but it is on the edge so you have easy access and quiet. Great views and a great system for access to the property.

Simple, solid rental but TERRIBLE taxi up-sell

The property was as advertised: a no-frills older house in a central and interesting area of Plaka. You can tell is a holiday rental because things are very basic, and there are almost no items for cooking in the kitchen (I finally caved in and bought a spatula). My major complaint is that the management company sent me an email prompting me to book a taxi through their service when I left. So, looking over all the material I did, because I had two heavy bags to move to my next apartment, 10 minutes away. When the taxi came, I asked the man how we would be calculating the fare: meter or flat rate? And he said it is 50 euros. Flat rate, minimum charge. For 10 minutes of driving! (This was not mentioned in the booking form anywhere.) I was SHOCKED and said so and talked to his boss on the phone and ultimately just got out of the car and hailed a taxi. Complete robbery. The actual cost of the trip in the taxi? 3.50 euros. And I knew this going in, and though I was willing to pay extra for a booked car, 50 euros was insane, insulting and bad business. I expect that JJ Hospitality gets a kickback as part of that. So...do not book a ride with them unless you know in advance how much they are charging.

It sleeps 4 comfortably in a double bed and sofabed in the lounge. With the ancient sites and magical lanes of Plaka at your doorstep, you really can't do better than this.
