Detta vackra hem ligger mindre än 75 meter från stranden på Narraguagus Bay där man kan sitta och titta på hummerbåtar, sälar, örnar och ta in hela livets skönhet på havet.

När du inte njuter av utsikten och kopplar av på uteplatsen kan du njuta av en kort bilresa (45 min) till Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Rogue Bluff eller lokal vandring. Du kommer aldrig att bli uttråkad på din semester!

Medan du besöker Milbridge kan du äta på lokala restauranger (44 grader och Milbridge House), ta en rundtur med en lokal hummerfiskare eller ha hummer på däcket från den största och bästa lobstermanen i området!

Huset är uppbyggt med kök, nöjesrum, stor uteplats, sovrum (king size-säng) och ett loft med 2 enkelsängar. Dessutom är huset utrustat med alla matlagningsbehov så att du inte behöver äta ute varje kväll medan du njuter av utsikten i slutet av dagen!

Platsen är extremt privat och av vägen med ett stort område så att barn har gott om utrymme att säkert spela utan bekymmer för trafiken. Ligger på fastigheten under en promenad till stranden, kommer du att kunna välja Maine Wild Blueberries under månaderna juli och augusti.

Du hittar inte en bättre plats i Milbridge eller Downeast Maine. De flesta människor kommer att berätta att detta är ett av ett slag!

Stay was okay

The view is beautiful. The cottage is a nice size. We enjoyed watching the lobster boats. Sunrises were amazing. We never received check-in information so we had to contact the owner. We did get a quick response and he was helpful with questions.However, as others have mentioned, there was activity in the lot 10 feet from the house 24/7. It gave an uneasy feeling. Trucks were peeling out. The lobster boats began going out at 2-3am. Conversations were loud. The lights were bright shining right in making it impossible to sleep. We had our dog with us, and there was nowhere for him to do his business. No grass and poor drainage so puddles were very large and the ground was saturated. We had to take him to the campground/park down the road twice a day. The cottage is in need of maintainance. Tiles were off the wall, light switches broken, the vacuum didn’t work and there was no hot water in the kitchen to do dishes. They are simple things to fix and would allow for a better experience.The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. And an overall cleaning was needed. I am a huge dog lover but coming in to a couch covered in dog hair is a turn off. We ended up leaving early.

Maine express trip

We had a wonderful time it’s such a great location with beautiful views. We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle and this was perfect. Food was plentiful and easy to access (the freshest seafood you could imagine) and the house had everything you need. The local people were so friendly and helpful. This a can’t miss location

Perfect accommodations

The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Everything one could possibly need or imagine needing was provided at the location. Great for kids lots of toys, books, movies, and room to play. We would definitely rent again in this location from this owner!!!

Perfect View & Quiet Retreat

The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Peace, quiet, secluded, great views, comfortable living space!! Very clean, decorated nicely, close to local attractions but far enough away to be removed from the "tourist" feel. Loved it - thank you!!!

Anniversary trip

Overall the place was very nice. Beautiful view! Milbridge was such a cute, friendly town. The place could use a few updates and there were quite a few things that needed maintenance.- Weeds blocking the view, broken window and Keurig, and it was so dark in there at night. Definitely could use more lights.

Amazing Little Gem

Everything with this property is excellent. This cottage is not only pretty, it is also clean and has all basic things you need in a home away from home. The view is spectacular. When we first arrived, in a late afternoon, we were greeted by the amazing water view, which instantly gave a wonderful feeling. Our drive from the cottage to Acadia National Park and Schoodic Point was also easy. Our little stay in Acadia was truly wonderful. Thank you!

Perfect stay

Our stay was excellent. The house and property are as pictured. The house is charming and has a pefect layout. Our teen enjoyed the loft. The check-in and check-out was easy. The owners are very friendly, accessible, and have very few demands except to take care of the basics and to enjoy the stay. We definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore Downeast Maine.

Great location! Enjoyed picking fresh blueberries and watching lobster boats off of the pier! Loved the private beach area for drinking morning coffee! Within an hours drive to most attractions! Breakfast at Sugar and Crumbs Bakery and Paisley Loon. Fresh lobster eating at 44 Degrees North.

Bright Charming Cottage

This was a great place to celebrate my wife’s birthday weekend. The beautiful sunrise over the working waterfront was just relaxing each morning. Even on a rainy morning the coast provides a mystique that is unparalleled. The cottage is very clean and spacious with great natural light. We were able to get few hikes in along the bold coast each day, with plenty of time to get back to the cottage and relax.

Lobster

It was a nice place to get away. A bit far from other places to go visit. Food was good in the area. House did have several ants inside be kitchen, we bout some ant traps and that took care of them. Beautiful morning sunrises if we got up in time. Did get some nice pictures. Lobster people are very busy. Goggled a lot on lobstering. It was fun and a great East Coast Trip. Headed to Boston then Philly. Thank you The Fishers

beautiful home and even better views. Only about an hour drive from bar harbor and acadia which made day trips easy. Far enough away from there to enjoy peace and quit. Eat some of the best lobster rolls at Chipmans Warf for half the price you will pay in bar harbor!

Harbor house stay

What an exceptional property! Had everything we needed to feel right at home. We had a glorious time here and spent much time exploring the surrounding towns offerings. Watching The Boats Go By

Great location right next to an active fishing pier. We have stayed here before and enjoy the open area that combines the kitchen and living room. There's a nice TV (around 55 inches with Roku ) to enjoy for the days you just want to hang around . There's a fire pit that my husband loves while watching the stars at night. You can get firewood at several places within 10 minutes of the place. The beds are comfortable and the master bedroom on the first floor has a new air conditioner which we only needed one night. The other days we opened the windows and got a nice coastal breeze in the house. A few minor things to improve would be to update the plates and utensils. Access to the shore was limited due to the weeds in the field being high and no easy way to find your way to the beach area. Overall, it's a great place to stay, relax and enjoy the fishing boats all day.

I am currently the Superintendent of School in Bidderford, ME. The property was owned by my grandfather who once operated a sardine factory in the town of Milbridge. We have been renting this location for the past 4 summers and are currently adding a second cottage to the location so that people can travel with family and friends. My family and friends still live about a 1/2 mile from this location.

The house offers a private setting on a working waterfront. I don't believe you will find a setting like this anywhere else. It is unbelievably close to the ocean and lobster boats.
