Girls trip

We chose this location for our annual ladies scrapbooking trip. there was adequate space for the five of us. There would not have been room for any more in the living room space. It was hard to tell from the pictures as the space looks bigger in the photographs, but it was perfect for our small group of five. The bedrooms were awesome and the beds were super comfy. There were just a few minor hiccups, but overall first day was great and would choose this location again if we were to go back to Bandon. The walk to the beach was super close which was awesome.

Avoid this windy dump.

Wind blows through cracks and windows. Sofa was horrible. Washing machine didn't work. TVs in bedrooms weren't connected to cable, satellite, or Internet. Bad water pressure in showers.

Great location, needs updates

The location was great. Cassandra the host was a 5/5 as well (she was my favorite part of this stay to be honest). The house is quirky though. There is one bathtub/shower that is still not working (another review mentioned it), the fireplace is missing its gausket seal around the door (and the door has a crack) so when we tried to make a fire smoke seeped through the gap. The only large burner on the stove also was not working which made cooking difficult for us. The dishwasher top rack has a broken slider so be careful using it. I liked how there were enough beds, but they were very hard and uncomfortable. There was also no seeable light for the backyard burn pit area so we never tried using it because it was too dark! I was told that the owners are planning to make repairs and once those repairs happen i am sure this quirky home will be closer to a 5 star, but for now it felt like a 3 star. It was a great location, a fun layout with enough beds, but you can feel the age of the home for sure.

Weekend getaway

Cassandra was an excellent host!! Lots of communication and extremely helpful! Location was perfect, close beach access and short drive to old town. There needs to be some updates to the home. Electric stove needs to be replaced. Do not count on current one being used to cook on. Water pressure could use some help. Do not use washing machine if you want to take a shower at the same time. There are a few other cosmetic things to fix but all in all a nice place to stay! Would stay again!

Needs some TLC

Because the property is older, we weren't expecting a new, updated place, but some items and areas definitely need attention. Check-in was at 4:00pm. We couldn't get in until 4:45 because cleaning wasn't finished. The shower across the hall from the master bedroom was "cleaned" but it wasn't rinsed out at all leaving a film inside. The bath mat is small so it was impossible not to touch the surface of the shower. Being so slippery, it caused a fall, resulting in a bruised hip and a torn shower liner on the way down. The 2nd bedroom window does not open, which is probably a fire hazard. Some of the mattresses were obviously old and not very clean. Old pillows could be replaced. Also, if the firepit is not useable, why not remove it from the property? It appears to be quite portable. The location is great...short walk to the beach, which was very nice.

We loved the location and square footage. The ocean was less than a block away and we loved hearing the waves. We would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet, convenient outpost for golf

We were bummed that there was no room at Bandon Resort for us, but this turned out even better. The location is right on the water, near a little light house, but still only about 15 minutes away from the golf resort. The beds were great, the host attentive, and the value outstanding.

Sea Breeze

The Sea Breeze house could be a great vacation house, it’s just two blocks from the beach, has a nice view from the room upstairs, is close to downtown and shopping, and just a short drive to many other beaches and the very nice zoo. The shuffleboard table was fun. However, the house itself is in disrepair, not very clean, and there are other housekeeping issues. I’m listing issues here, some are in other reviews and haven’t been dealt with, some are security issues. As with other rentals we were asked to strip beds we had used. The mattress pads and pillows had shockingly egregious large stains on them, bright red and brown. The linens themselves were very wrinkled. There were not enough towels. There were no bath mats. The blinds had broken slats and one was missing the closure rod. The living room curtains did not close to cover the sliding doors. The front porch light was dim. The lights on the steps to the upstairs room did not work, very unsafe. The home had several single steps throughout. The kitchen area floor was not clean and the floor under the cabinet near the dining table was very dirty. There were ants in the kitchen. The toilet in the middle size bathroom rocked. The washing machine IS missing a part. One of the couches in the living room is too uncomfortable to sit on.

Location, location, location

Sea Breeze is what I would call sort of a "funky beach house". It is located a block from the South Jetty so you can be on the jetty or the sand in under five minutes, It's close to Old Town Bandon, maybe a five minute drive and it is capable of sleeping a large number of people. Only four in my party so we barely used the all the space available. I'd recomend Sea Breeze for those with extended family as the best fit. There is a nice wood stove in the main room and a fire pit out back. Those who are into that kind of thing will love hearing the fog horn sing quite often, you can hear it all through the house. The wifi and TV were fine. If you are looking for a gourmet, executive kitchen or five star amenities this is not the place but it is quite nice, 'Beachy' may be the best word. I would probably not stay again but that is based on the size of my family rather than the Sea Breeze itself. I enjoyed my stay quite a bit.

Great location, but house is in disrepair

The location was great, good proximity to Old Town. However, in one of the bathrooms, the shower didn't work at all and the sink didn't drain. Another shower was so small that the shower hit you in the face (no getting away from it). The house was advertised that there were TV's in every room...one bedroom didn't have a TV at all, the TV didn't work in another bedroom, and the TV's were only set up with streaming so you couldn't watch TV at all if you didn't have your own accounts with the streaming services. The washing machine was missing the agitator and there was a mouse running around in the house. Our check-in time kept getting pushed back and we were finally let in to the place around 6pm due to the previous rental party leaving the place a total mess. Cassandra, the host, was wonderful. She did her best to try and fix the issues with the house and stayed in communication well. Unfortunately, the shower and washing machine were not able to be repaired while we were there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. The sitting areas were nice. Overall, the house would've been a nice place to stay if it hadn't been in such disrepair. We feel the rental fee was way too high for a house in that condition.

Bandon Jetty Neighborhood

Location was GREAT! Quick short walk to beach and nice neighborhoods to walk in. You could definitely tell the house was “once” nice…but years of rental neglect is wearing on it. ALL window coverings needed fixed, did not fit or did not even have 😥. The flooring and master bathroom updates were appreciated and the fully stocked and cut wood for the fire pit 😊. If you want a nice, cozy, in door vacation with lots of eating and socializing in kitchen area, this is NOT the house for you. But location and 5 separate bedrooms for privacy was great!

Golf Trip 2021

This was a golf trip for four of us. While this is an older home it fit our needs well as we were playing in a golf tournament at Bandon Trails. With 5 bedrooms we each had plenty of room to stretch out and rest between rounds. Because of the golf tournament we did not spend a great deal of time in the house except for breakfast and late nights.

Place was great. Cassandra had us taken care of and made sure we were good the first night. Could use another chair or couch in living room. But great place and we will.be back.

Nice, but could be more comfortable

There were 6 of us. The home can sleep 10, but isn't really equipped for that. The microwave was missing its glass plate, which made it basically unusable for the most part. The oven is small, the burners on the stove were slow to heat. We were cooking in because of COVID-19, so the kitchen was needed. There's not much of an ocean view, but the house is just a block from beach access.
