Denna fjällstuga är den perfekta platsen för din fantastiska utomhusupplevelse, för en romantisk tillflyktsort eller för ett mycket förtjänt paus! Du kommer att upptäcka att det här huset har allt du behöver: ett fullt utrustat kök, två matplatser, en öppen spis, avskärmad veranda, stort yttre däck med eldstad, allt inbäddat på ca. en tunnland på en avskild cul-de-sac.

När du njuter av din tid på ett av de stora däcken (det finns tre totalt och den avskärmade verandan) lyssnar du på vattenfallet som ligger längst ner på fastigheten. Det är en brant nedstigning för att se vattenfallet - men värt upplevelsen.

Parkeringsområdet ligger precis utanför ytterdörren.

Gästerna kan njuta av fiske som ligger ett kvarter bort vid Hogback Lake. För gäster som önskar en aktiv vistelse erbjuder våra Wyndham Resort på Fairfield Sapphire Valley bekvämligheter *: golf, tennis, bergsbestigande putt-puttgolf, två uppvärmda pooler, utomhuspool, badtunnor, bastu, spelrum, gym, joggingspår, skid- / slangområdet (vintermånaderna), och vi har en kanot för ditt nöje på natursköna Fairfield Lake. Pontoon-hyror ligger i närheten vid den vackra Lake Glenville.

De flesta gäster på sommaren / hösten håller med om att "husets bästa rum" faktiskt är den visade i bakre veranda. Den bekväma soffan och stolarna inbjuder dig att sitta och njuta av en vacker utsikt över Hogback Mountain!

* Med denna hyra kan vuxna gäster (barn är gratis) köpa ett gästkort för $ 6 för ett tre dagars pass (ytterligare dagar kan köpas för $ 2 / dag). Perfect Miuntain Spot!

This was a great stay for our family! We were here dropping our daughter at camp. Our dog loved the location as well! Owners are wonderful and quickly respond. We highly recommend this house for a peaceful and convenient stay.

Check in was no problem. House has a very stocked kitchen, pots and pans, spices. Anything needed was there. Lovely flower garden, with 4 separate places to go to and enjoy the outdoors. Very private location in the mountains. We hope to return.

Perfect Mountain Stay

This cabin is located in a wooded community but far enough from neighbors for full privacy. It is extremely cozy and comfortable and is stocked with anything you could need during your stay. We especially enjoyed the screened porch with beautiful views. The host was very communicative and responsive to my many questions. The location is convenient to hiking, waterfalls and other outdoor pursuits as well as dining and shopping. We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying there in the future. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Best Mountain Weekend Stay

We loved our weekend stay when we dropped our girls off at camp. It was so peaceful, clean, and beautiful! Our favorite spot to sit and relax was the screened in porch. Our dog was welcome and loved relaxing at the house and taking walks around the neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic mountain cabin

Our stay at Hogback Heaven was fabulous! The cabin, its amenities, the gorgeous views , nearby restaurants & grocery store plus the wonderful communication with the owners made this a fabulous vacation week. We plan to stay here again if at all possible! We highly recommend it!!

Hogback Heaven Cabin

My husband and I along with our 10 year old Sheltie stayed at this cabin Thursday November 14 to Monday November 18. What a wonderful cabin and perfect location. The cabin is well stocked and has everything one would need. The cabin is comfy and very cozy. We enjoyed sitting in the screened porch every afternoon and had a fire in fireplace every evening. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable. We loved our stay and will return.

Wonderful

While we only visited for two nights… It was a lovely stay. The house had exactly all the amenities as described and more cozy and quaint in person. We would love to visit again. Maybe this time in the summer to take advantage of the lake activities . The hiking was very close and made for a wonderful day for my family. And it’s hard to please teenagers these days. A wonderful mountain hideaway

We've visited the Cashiers/Sapphire, NC area before but this was our first time with a VRBO property. The cabin was well-appointed, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Gwenn was a delight to work with and very responsive.

Wonderful stay in the mountains

We travel to the mountains twice a year and we always travel with our dog. This house is very nice and has everything you would ever need. The owners really make you feel welcome in their home from supplying k-cups for your morning coffee to brochures of beautiful sapphire and things to do. Would definitely stay at hog back again!

Perfect mountain getaway

We’ve stayed at many different Vrbo properties over the years and this is one has to be one of our all time favorites. We loved the location and took advantage of the resort amenities access. This house, as other reviews have commented, is just so homey and comfortable, and has just about everything one would need, including lots of condiments in the kitchen and Keurig pods. We would love to stay here again for sure, when we come back to the area. We found the beds to be very comfy as well which is always something I look for in reviews, so wanted to give that a mention.

Fabulous mountain home

This home truly felt like a home away from home. Well-stocked kitchen, cozy decor, and the screened in porch was like being in a treehouse looking down into an enchanted forest! The owner was a delight to speak to. Nice neighborhood for walking our dog and close to excellent restaurants. We hope to visit again!

Your owners are Glenn and Gwenn Thomas and our permanent residence is Florida. When we retired several years ago we decided that we had to buy a house in NC so we could have a place to share with our family and others. We both have spent many summers in this area over the years.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When Gwenn's parents retired, they spent 26 summers in the area and each summer they kept their grandchildren for a month. You can only imagine the memories that were created! We too, want to help create memories for your family in this magical area of the world.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We have spent time at the house during each month of the year and we still can't determine which month is the best one to visit. Each month brings its own uniqueness. The winter time has the snow and all of the outdoor activities associated with it and the summer has the swimming pools and lake activities. Every single month allows for exploring the area; whether it is hiking, sight-seeing, bird watching, shopping, dining in the great restaurants or just enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
