Our second time staying here was just as wonderful as the first! Bright, spacious, and in close proximity to the beach, with a great view and everything you need for a week at the beach.

It suited our family of 7 adults and 4 young children (three generations) quite well. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms. Opportunity for privacy and plenty of room for group activities. Our host was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again. Other family members staying elsewhere were very impressed as well.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We have been visiting IOP for several years and this was definitely the cleanest house we’ve had. The space is really nice and the bedrooms are large. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay! House was large, clean, and cozy, and provided for all our needs. Loved the view from the living room and the kids had lots of fun in the pool. Short walk to the beach and short drive to Charleston. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Amazing stay

We have been visiting Isle of Palms for the past 5 years and this was our favorite stay so far. The house was extremely clean and the location is great. Absolutely amazing view.

IOP Paradise

Beautiful and spacious house. Large bedrooms and very nice bathrooms. We enjoyed the balconies ,viewing decks and pool area at different times of the day. A quick walk to beach allowed us to come and go often. With several restaurants near by, made it a perfect vacation place.

Best beach rental

Highly recommend this property. We wanted for nothing except reservations at some of the nearby restaurants (book early!). Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, views amazing, pool toys a bonus even for teens. Would come back again for sure.

Can’t wait to go back

We had a phenomenal visit and loved everything about this house. More than enough room to accommodate our family of 11 (4 kids, 7 adults). Fabulous pool and great location. The view was absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been renting places in IOP for a decade and this has been my favorite.

We enjoyed our family vacation! We had a few maintenance issues but the host was responsive and fixed all of the issues in a timely manner. The only negative as was mentioned in prior reviews is a short walk to the beach on a busy road with no sidewalk.

We could not speak more highly of our stay on Isle of Palms. The house was fabulous, and the few very small issues we had were fixed by the property manager within minutes. Highly recommend!

Oh, my goodness. I wish I could give 10 stars. First of all, the house is absolutely adorable and we are pretty picky. The layout was such a great use of space and the bedrooms were all so cute. Second - I’ve stayed in some well-stocked beach homes but this went above and beyond. If we needed it, the house had it. No one could stop remarking on that! Third - the pool was great and there’s a really nice covered section. Loved that it had the built-in seats in the corners of the pool. Fourth - and this one is truly above and beyond - they came by to roll out trash cans for us mid-week and to fix a couple little things. The owners and their family clearly take pride in their property. And fifth - communication was fantastic. They were so kind and responsive! I would echo what others have said - it’s a busy road so it can be a little challenging to get out. But it’s so convenient and allows for such a magnificent view that it’s hard to complain about that! What a lovely home and experience this was.

Another wonderful week!

This was our second time staying at this property. The booking/check in process was seamless! The owner was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We have young children and they loved the short walk to the beach and spending time in the backyard pool in the afternoons. The house was clean and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to stay here again next summer!

Wonderful house with indoor and outdoor spaces

We rented this property for 5 adults and 3 kids and it was really wonderful. The layout lended itself well to groups with many spaces both indoors and outdoors to hide away. Sunsets on the rooftop were awesome and the pool a great feature to keep things going after returning from the beach. Very clean, comfortable, with beautiful views! Super friendly and responsive host!

Family beach trip

The house was perfect for our family! The rooms were all co-ordinated and nicely decorated .There was plenty of room for the 2 yr old to run around without getting into too much trouble. The house was well located for dining and and an easy walk to the beach. The elevator was an added bonus. The host were very responsive when we needed them. We had a great time and can’t wait to return!

Family Beach Time

The property was just what we wanted in terms of room configuration and layout. We had one couple in their late 70s, so use of the elevator was extremely helpful. The owner was very responsive to questions we had during the week. The daily provision of beach chairs and umbrella were nice for the grandparents. We hope to come again!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering. We had 9 adults and 1 infant under 1 and we all were able to eat together at the dinner table and hang around the pool or TV without any issues. We were a short walk to the beach and loved that 2 chairs with an umbrella were provided. You could walk into town which we did a couple times or bike. Overall we would rent from here again and appreciated the communication and recommendations provided!

IOP FAMILY GET AWAY

Loved the layout of this beautiful home. Every detail was well planned. Beautiful views of the Marsh and inlet The city was filled with protests so we did everything right on the island. Cooked all our meals in the kitchen and ate on the screened porch. Bring BUG SPRAY!

Isle of Palm Rental

This property is very nice and very roomy. We had 6 six adults, 2 pre teens, 2 six year olds and a 2 year old. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. Also, big bedrooms for them to get away from the other kids. Nice pool and sitting area next to it. Wish they had more large skillets to cook in with the number of people able to stay at the house.

We love Isle of Palms

The house was comfortable and perfect in size for our family of 10. Only reason for a 4 star as opposed to a 5 star is due to the house facing a noisy, busy, main road that was a source of concern when walking 4 toddlers to the beach. Additionally the house involved a longer walk to the beach than we felt advertised.

Hey Laura! Thank you for staying with us. I'm sorry that you felt that way. We do state that the house is 2.5 blocks to the beach with a detailed map on the house listing. There is a bike path and grass to walk the half-block on Palm Blvd (speed limit 35) before turning onto 5th or 6th ave (15mph and quiet) that I hope you were able to utilize. Because we aren't directly on the beach, we offer a free setup of beach chairs and an umbrella ($140 value) set up for our guests on the beach every day during their stay. I hope you enjoyed this free gift from the owners to help alleviate the items you had to carry for the little ones. We hope you continue to enjoy all that Isle of Palms has to offer in future years. 2020 Family Vacation

The house was great. We enjoyed the spacious living space. The property could use an extra full refrigerator. The general location was good for us as it was close the beach, intercoastal waterway, and close to sightseeing and historical areas, such as Charleston. The views from the decks where great of both the ocean and ICW. One concern, if you have children, is the busy traffic in front of the house.

We’re glad you enjoyed the house! This year the traffic on the whole island is so much more than usual due to the restrictions on nearby Sullivan s Island’s beach. Everyone has decided to enjoy the Isle of Palms! We do have a full size SubZero refrigerator in the kitchen and an under counter refrigerator in the wet bar area but we thank you for the suggestion. We’re happy you enjoyed the views. The views are great! We hope you come back and visit soon!

Very comfortable and nicely appointed. Close to the beach. Kitchen stocked with all you would need to cook and entertain. View is spectacular of intercostal waterways.. Loved the outdoor shower. Pool was perfect for our family and enjoyed daily swims and hanging out. I would recommend upgrading the tv (Westinghouse) in the living room and going to a universal remote. TV definition and sound marginal at best. An upgrade to internet for better downloading performance (especially when streaming ) is a must.
