Beautiful and peaceful lake and location. Very cute, cozy and clean cabin. Kayaking the creek to Eagle Lake is a must! Fun lake to swim and fish. Owners are easy to reach and respond in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our time as a family here!

Great cabin, clean spaces and cozy. The A/C was fantastic and kept my family cool in all rooms. Really neat lift down to the lake, the loons were a frequent guest down by the dock. We caught 4 different species of fish off the dock without even trying very hard. Great stay!

Fun in the sun

Nice rustic Cabin, AC worked great, Lift was amazing, less than 2 minutes up or down. Fishing off dock was great, shore a little rocky bring your swim shoes and floaties. Golf at Golden Eagle was fabulous, great deck to chill and relax on.

Great little cabin, clean and tidy

Had a great time staying here! Cabin was organized, clean, and the lift to the dock was a fun little adventure. Kayaking around the lake was peaceful, and even had a few vocal loons we paddled by each day. Master bed was very comfortable and I’m impressed with how quickly and well the AC worked. Would def stay here again!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Highly recommend this property it had everything we needed for a short little getaway. It was also a great location not to far from town, but just far enough to really have a nice peaceful and relaxing time.

Cute, Comfortable and Clean Cabin!

Super cute cabin on beautiful lake Mitchell. Great fishing and the lift down to the lake is awesome!! We caught all kinds of fish off the private dock and thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

This property was top-notch in cleanliness and fit our needs perfectly traveling with six adults. The air conditioner worked perfectly and having two bathrooms is always a must. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and insured we have all of our needs met. Would definitely stay again!

Calming

We had a wonderful time. Sitting in the deck relaxing watching the calming if the water. Waking up hearing loons, Hummingbirds were buzzing around, watched an Eagle fly around and hunt, and even saw a pileated woodpecker. Slept fantastic. Rejuvenated and relaxed, exactly what we needed.

Winter getaway

We had an amazing time. Close to Emily and Crosslake. Highly recommend the pickled loon. Their ahi tuna crisps are amazing. The property is well kept. Access to lake is steep, but manageable. The only thing I would change is the fireplace. There is a brick incline and hard to see. I stubbed my toe serval times. Host is quick to respond and very helpful!

Delightful Cabin on a Beautiful Lake

My husband and I wanted a short getaway on a lake for a few days. Jill & Richard's cabin on Mitchell Lake was the perfect rental. Everything was exactly as advertised/expected, and the communication with us throughout the process was timely and comprehensive. The cabin had everything we needed/wanted, including some really fun puzzles. The lake was a delightful surprise - not only was it the perfect size, we had so many cool encounters with wildlife. We caught at least six species of fish using just worms off the dock. We used the canoe to explore the lake and tributaries - saw two loon families, turtles, and a very active eagle family, who liked to nest in the trees above our dock. We could hardly bear to leave when it was time... we will be back for sure!

Good for fishing but not suitable for family with young kids

We stayed in this peoperty for a week. The location is okay, and the property is good for fishing but not suitable for young kids. It did not have a bathtub, and the shower is too tight and not installed properly. Our 4 year old could not shower properly, and we ended up using a bucket to wash her. It's not very convenient. I was told we could swim, but the water had lots of weed and no shoreline. It had a pretty steep drop and can only get to the water using the lift, no stairs. We had issues with the laundry, and it started leaking, and the basement floor in the laundry room was flooded. The cabin is okay but not worth the money we paid.

Everything was great. The cabin was with ample room and as described. Good living area, kitchen, dining room and deck. The dock was great for the boat and fishing and swimming.

Great cabin, great communication

Had a wonderful week at the cabin. Very comfortable with everything we needed. Hosts were easy to reach if we needed anything and extremely accommodating. Great location close to so many places to visit and a wonderful deck to enjoy the evening sunsets. We caught more fish off the dock than we did in the boat... Got to love that!

We love this property due to its beautiful lake views with the convenience of a hill lift to get to the water. We love spending time on the lake - fishing, kayaking, or tooling around in the boat. We also enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter.

Mitchell Lake has a great social atmosphere where people pull up in boats, kayaks, and sailboats to the sandbar in the Northwest corner to play games and socialize. Mitchell has great fishing, and creeks perfect for a day of kayaking or canoeing. It is also close to great golfing, hiking, hunting, and hiking, ATV and snowmobiling trails.
