Namnet på denna plats är "Bear With Us" stuga, en nybyggd, mysig och unik reträtt. Skönheten är i detaljerna - från det varma, exponerade träet och gott om soliga utrymmen till moderna bekvämligheter som en het dusch och kockens kök. Inbäddat på fyra hektar privat skog, har "Bear With Us" -hyttan en fantastisk utsikt över de omgivande bergen, liksom strömmar och diverse flora och fauna. Och du är fortfarande bara några minuter från 21-talets bekvämligheter, som Walmart, Harrahs Cherokee casino och lokala hantverksbutiker.

I kabinen hittar du alla apparater i rostfritt stål, plattskärms-TV, Blu-ray / DVD-spelare. (TV: n kan endast användas för att spela DVD-skivor). Loggen har två sovrum och ett gemensamt badrum med badkar. Varje rum har träväggar och trägolv. I köket finns ett fullkvalitativt kylskåp, kaffebryggare, brödrost ugn, elektrisk ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn, crock gryta, frityrkokare, och massor av användbara köksredskap. Stugan rymmer perfekt små, familjeföreningar eller romantiska utflykter. Koppla bort dig från den hektiska v��rlden och njut av lugnet i naturen.

Släck upp grillen på den stora verandaen som du ser ut över den fantastiska sylvan vistas. Tillbringa en avkopplande kvällsmatsal eller njut av vin framför eldstaden.

Älskare av det stora utomhus kan tillbringa sin semestervandring och utforska klipporna, spåren och omgivande vilda djur. Gå forsränning, eller fiske längs de gamla skogsvägarna vid huset. När du återvänder väntar dig hemma bekvämligheter.

Det finns en Walmart i staden Sylva några miles öster, liksom hantverk och antikaffärer i närliggande Dillsboro. Med västerut, nära Franklin, hittar du Harrahs Cherokee casino. Bes��k en ��kta pärlemruva, som Mason, i Cowee Valley. Prova rafting i Nantahala, eller ta en körning över berget till Gaitlinburg och Pigeon Forge, där du kan åka ridning. Du kanske vill åka skidor i Cataloochee, beroende på säsong, förstås! Precis som du passerar genom centrala Sylva, till höger kommer du till marknaden, där du kan köpa nylagda ägg, liksom alla slags frukt och grönsaker, sylt och gelé. För god mat, prova Ruth Chris Steak House på Harrahs, buffén på kasinot eller ett antal andra bra restauranger.

Very unclean

Well, the property owners never sent the keys to open the property until the very last minute. I normally get an email that says “here are the keys to your rental”. Also, there were lots of cobwebs/spiders and pubic hair on toilet rim. In addition, the hot tub never heated!!!!

Neat place

We throughly enjoyed our stay, with one exception. The owner was literal on top of us the whole time. He’s building a tree house at the back corner of the house and did construction starting as early as 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 the entire 4 day stay 30 ish feet above the bedrooms! I’m sure it will be outstanding once done, however, we felt like we were being watched the entire time, and, he lives directly below this house a hundred feet away, with cameras everywhere! Would we go back, most likely after it’s all finished. Only letting folks know what to expect should they want to go over the next few weeks or months.

Great View

Cabin is contemporary, safe, and has a fantastic view. Internet is minimal but the owner made that clear in the listing. Verizon gets great reception (T-Mobile not so much) there so maybe get a hotspot if necessary (unlimited for $50/mo). The only risk seems to be the road if there is inclement weather. We were able to navigate it fine because we were careful (and it was dry) but there is a trench in the road (diagonally across) that could certainly cause problems. The rest of the road has obviously been taken care of; I suspect the trench just happened. There are neighbors (very quiet ones) so there's probably an easement agreement or something.

Great Stay by the Smoky Mountains

The cabin was clean and cozy and the views were beautiful! I stayed with my boyfriend and our dog. It was a great place to come back to after hiking in the parks all day. Playing bags, sitting by a fire, and watching the sunset was the perfect way to spend the evenings. The owners/rental company were super easy to work with as well. I recommend staying here!

Comfortable 5 day stay

Exactly what we were looking for, secluded place with easy access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cabin is very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and a beautiful view. There's convenient access to the national park, Cherokee, Bryson City, and Dillsboro which has a Walmart. We loved the location. The road to the cabin is fine for regular cars (we drive a sedan). There's just one curve that is an incline, but it was never any trouble for us. As the description says, just drive slowly while off-road and plan to arrive during daylight for the first day so it's easy to find the way. The booking process was simple, and includes a contract. Check-in was a breeze, instructions were very clear. Cabin was very clean, all appliances were in good condition, heating and water pressure were great. The cabin has great amenities like the swing to watch the sunset from, fire pit, and deck with lots of furniture. The only minor issue we had was with the internet, no streaming possible, and we did try using our phones as hot spots but that didn't work well either. The internet worked fine for everything else, including backing up pictures and social media. Not a big deal as we weren't there to watch TV anyways, but be aware in case you need high speed internet for streaming video. We would definitely go back to this cabin and book through this service.

Great stay and well equipped kitchen

Very cute and clean. If you want to make a fire might want to bring a hatchet. Would not recommend a small car to go to the cabin in the winter time it can be done but 4x4 or suv would be better.

Great Getaway

We stayed at this wonderful cabin over Christmas and loved it! The owners had it decorated for Christmas inside and out! It was perfect! Views were amazing and communication was great! Only issue I would say was the drive up to the cabin. We arrived after dark and had trouble finding the cabin. Also, the drive up it was a bit steep. It snowed on Christmas Eve and had we not had a 4 wheel drive, we would not have made it up the mountain. Otherwise, it is an amazing and the small touches the owners added we noticed and appreciated!

Remote and quiet

Overall nice place, cabin was very clean and roomie, view very good. Cabin well decorated and stocked, we did some cooking while there, and the outside fire pit great on cooler nights. The driveway/road to get to the property was fairly steep and some sharp turns I would suggest a truck and can be made in 2WD however wouldn't want to try it in a low car. My complaint was the porch gas tabletop fire would not stay lit, found and followed instructions, but would not stay lit, yes the gas bottle was full. all in all we woulld come back.

Comfortable and relaxing

Comfortable on the property despite being “alone” in the woods. House was tidy, organized, and appeared well-kept. A couple of small issues I reported via email with prompt responses. Our stay was too short- we didn’t want to leave!

Bear With Us rental in Whittier, NC

We stayed here for 5 nights while we hiked in Smoky Mt. Park. The house is clean, nicely furnished, well stocked, and has a beautiful view of the mountains. It is conveniently located to the park and Bryson City. The main issue is the steep, gravel road and main driveway. Our 2018 Honda CRV could not get up the main driveway after multiple attempts due to it's steepness and a large tree root that goes across the driveway. All that's needed is to add the house number to the white sign that is to the left of the large bear statue, this leads to a separate, less steep entrance. We finally found this on the instruction sheet, but the overall directions were confusing. The instructions state that the key is located in the lock box near the French doors. The code was for the front door with no key needed. Once these 2 points are cleared up, this is a nice place for a getaway with a wonderful mountain view.

Cute cabin with mountain view

The cabin was cozy and nicely maintained. My family stayed for 5 nights during July and our children loved all of the bear themed furnishings in and around the cabin. Beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains from the porch and this cabin was in a private spot, not overlooked by the neighboring cabins. Cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The drive up to the cabin is a little nerve-wrecking at first, but we got used to it. The only downside we found to our stay was having to haul our own trash over to the recycling plant at the end of the stay. Driving 7 miles with the smell of trash in the car was not ideal.

BED BUGS

My husband and I stayed at this property over 4th of July week-end. It went from bad to worse..... The bed bugs by far the worst part. We both have several bites on us and they are Bed Bug bites for sure. When I informed the manager she said no one else have ever said that was problem and she would check with the cleaning crew. Not I am sorry - never heard from her again. Also the cameras are very creepy and make you think they have also hidden them inside the property. The locks and alarms and all the outdoor furniture is pad locked makes you feel that you are staying somewhere that is not safe. Needless to say we will not be back and will never get a VRBO with MNM company as the rental company. The instructions for the cabin are unlike anything I have ever seen for a VRBO and during the stay we received emails with "friendly reminders" with more rules to follow. Tonya who met us at the rental upon arrival was very nice.

Cozy Cabin with an Amazing view!

Such a cute, cozy cabin! Very clean and they had everything you needed. Great location. We enjoyed spending time out on the porch having coffee in the mornings. Owners did a great job with directions, making our way to the cabin very smooth. Amenities were available, including towels, cooking ware, toiletries and more. This property made our first trip to the mountains one to remember. Definitely recommend for a couple’s getaway or a small group trip!

Lovely cabin!

The cabin was just as lovely as it was in the pictures! We got there really late the first night, so it was a beast to get to terrain wise, but the GPS actually took us right there. Don’t rely on it though. Everything was clean and the whole place smelled wonderful! I would definitely stay here again!
