The house is in a nice location. The ocean view is perfect. There were heavy equipment operators posted up in front of our house dredging sand all night though and their bright lights beamed through the windows. No trash bags which I found weird and inconvenient for the amount we paid for the weekend. The pictures make the house look a lot better than in reality.

The location of the home was superior, best that I have had for a beach front home. It was only 5 miles to WalMart. They allow short stays, which is perfect because we like 4 nights. Bring all of your own beach supplies including chairs & towels.

This house was just far away from the main town to be secluded but close enough to get there fast. The house was amazing. The proximity to beach was perfect.

Excellent Get Away

The house was just as described: close to the beach and very nice. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The only negative, and it is small, is that the tub shower on the main floor is EXTREMELY slippery and poses a hazard. A few tub appliques might be in order. Otherwise, we LOVED our visit and hope to return.

September 2019 Stay

This house is just amazing our family had a great and relaxing time. The accommodation are perfect for enjoying nice beach days. I propose to the love of my life at the beach and our family had an amazing view from the house, he loved it. Plus a great dinner after with a view to die for.

Great Property

I rented this property for an 80th birthday party for my husband. It was a great success, his kids loved the beach just across the street. The only problem I see is if you have elderly folks make sure they are in good shape as there are stairs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My only complaint was the shirt stay. My family and I enjoyed this vacation. Any concerns where assisted to immediately. Everyone in or group thoroughly enjoyed this time away. Will be renting as often as we can with extended stays. Thanks so much.

Lovely home directly on the beach. Plenty of room to be comfortable. Well supplied for kitchen needs. I did need to rewash bath, hand and face towels that were supplied to us because of mildewy odor. Other than that, we enjoyed the home very much!!

Cousins trip

Property is very nice and Gary Greene took care of the one problem we had very quickly. If there is a hard rain water stands in the doorway of the ground floor room which makes it hard getting in the room. The house is very well kept and has everything you need.

Beautiful house!

Great location and right on beach! The house if very well equipped. Soaps and shampoos are provided. There’s a great outdoor shower and bathroom. The view is amazing and in a quiet area. Love this place. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is for the firm beds. They are good mattresses but very firm. I did not sleep very well on them, otherwise this place is great!

Great house great location

House was great for me and 12 teens. Plenty of space. The only trouble was the management company gave me a hassle and threatened me before we came about having security all over me, I guess because of the girls ages. That part I didn’t like. I never saw a security guard once.

We spent 3 nights at this house & overall really enjoyed ourselves. We loved the location- right across from the beach! With little ones in tow I had not realized how convenient having quick access is. The exterior showed some wear & tear from the saltwater. But that should be somewhat expected given the proximity to the beach. There was a grill but it was too rusted to be usable. Luckily I reached out & confirmed beforehand that there wouldn’t be a grill so we came prepared, but it would have been nice to have already at the house. The porch swing and rinse off area was great. One evening we decided to have dinner on the porch but realized we were eating in the dark- need more lightThe first floor bedroom is completely removed from the rest of the house. You have to go outside and up the stairs to enter the main house. It was too far away for us so no one slept in there. I suppose previous guests felt that way too because the room did have a stale smell to it. It was a great use of space for a midday break from the beach though because it was so cold. The kids huddled up and watched a movie while the sun was blazing outside. The kitchen had all the pots/pans you could ever need. Some were well loved but others were still usable. Fridge/freezer worked well. The bedrooms and bathrooms fit our needs also. The floor mats seemed dirty and needed a good wash.Overall, the neg did not outweigh the positives and we all enjoyed our time in Galveston and most def will return

Loved the location and the house

We did enjoy staying here. It was a nice house and loved the location. But the whole down stairs room and bathroom (on the lower level) had a terrible musty odor and therefore we could not use that bedroom and I even called them to tell them we couldn’t use that room and they did not really seem that concerned or offer to accommodate us for it or offer any money back (and I asked). We paid a good bit for this place! Very disappointing bc our friends (7 people including children) had to be squashed up into two rooms and share one bathroom 
that’s not good! That was the whole reason we rented this beach house was bc it was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably! Just disappointed! But inspite of it, we did have a good time, esp loved the location! And it was a nice house, just could have been even better if we had been able to use the whole property!

More an issue with PM than house

Lots of issues with Property Manager. Check in at 3. They are supposed to text you at 3 what your entrance code is. Nothing by 3. Nothing by 3:15. Finally got it by 3:20 after multiple texts and calls. Got into the house and one of the toilets was clogged. There was some random person’s shirt and shorts left on the ground. Contacted PM
.no response. The bunk bed rooms didn’t have sheets put on the beds; you had to do it yourself. Called the PM about the toilet. By the time we checked out it was still clogged and no one came to fix it. The house itself has a great location. We’ve stayed in 8 STRs in the past year and this was by far the worst run. We also own 2 STRs and if my place were run like this I’d fire my PM immediately.

Literally 100 steps to the water with excellent viewing from porch! This made for a memorable 50th anniversary with family!

Annual Getaway with friends

We have been coming to Galveston for the past 6 years and have rented a house each year. This was the most disappointing house we’ve rented. While the pictures accurately depict the layout, the pictures are otherwise very misleading. The house is extremely aged, with black mold coming out of the light fixture in the kitchen. However, The location was perfect and it did have good space for 3 families (2 kids, 2 adults per family) to fit comfortably. This is the first time we’ve rented from a company vs. an individual and you can tell the difference in the care of the house. The company does not check on the wellness of house like an individual would do before guests arrive. Was not clean when we arrived and has not been updated. Other than location, we were extremely disappointed.

Shifted to a new rental property due to a water leak and ceiling collapse

Our first rental property experienced significant water damage due to a slow leak resulting in the collapse of the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Luckily no one was hurt, but the impacted bedroom was inhabitable. After a night of shifting the guests and a stay at a local hotel another property was offered which met our needs. The company did their best rectify the situation and the inconvenience. The new rental property was an upgrade but was located in a more remote location of the island making enjoying the popular attractions of the island difficult.
