Spacious and convenient location

Our family truly enjoyed our stay here, check in and out was very easy and loved the views and connivence of location. We were so close to everything and the parks! Hosts were very attentive to every message and responded very quickly when needed! Would rent this home again

Terrible Experience

Great location, but that’s about it. Upon checking in, we were hit with a smell that could only be described as vomit. The house was dirty. Furniture was broken, stained, ripped, and falling apart. Beds were terrible. Tiles in bathrooms were loose and we had one in our party cut their foot on pieces of grout that were coming out. Had another in our party almost get hurt trying to sit on a chair outside that had a leg almost bent in half, luckily someone saw it before they sat down completely. Other chairs outside had holes in the middle of them. Sun chairs were so dirty we had to give one of our littles a bath after they climbed on it. Contacted OneVactionHome about the issues and sent pictures, to which they told us they would send someone out. I explained that we didn’t want someone there cleaning the home while our children are there and we are trying to eat dinner and that we were there to go to Disney, so also don’t want someone there while we are gone and all our stuff is in the home. They sent someone anyway around dinner time (6pm) who told us they were not there to clean, but just to ask about the issues. They told us they cleaned the house for 7 hours, to which I responded by showing my kids and my own feet, which were black just from walking around. They then stormed off. We spent 3 hours cleaning the house and were told by the rental agency there was no way for a cleaning fee refund, because they did everything could and the house was cleaned thoroughly. Stay away

Business trip to Orlandi

Property was nice but not maintained very well. Many of the beds did not have fitted sheets, just a top sheet so you ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. One of the patio chairs had a hole in the seat and another had a broken leg. The wallpaper in the 2nd floor Master was peeking off and the bed had a very uncomfortable lump in the middle.

Good Home

This place is very spacious. Very nice home, only one thing that I didn’t like that there were little dead bugs swept in a few corners. It seemed as if the cleaners swept them up but didn’t pick the pile up. They were not like beetle looking bugs. Overall beautiful home to stay. Enough space for everyone to have be comfortable. Check in and out process was smooth. The back g gate would never open for us we had to come through the exit gate. But definitely a good stay.

Lots of bedrooms

The property is ok. The beds were not real comfortable but sleepable. There were some extra well used pillows but no additional pillowcases. The bottom sheets were flat sheets and did not stay on beds. The kitchen was minimally supplied. A few things were missing. No plug for kitchen sink drain. The downstairs bath had one plugged sink. Only two extra garbage bags for 6 day stay. No extra TP. The lication was good but the gate was broken and not secured.

Met our needs

Property was nice, but you can tell that it is rented out quite a bit and could use some upgrades. For example, the carpet on the stairs is loose. The beds were not comfortable and seemed like cheap mattresses. The kitchen and living area were nice, but the couch had rips in it which I alerted the owners of upon arrival. Although it isn’t the owners fault, the check-in process was crazy and no one had given us a heads up about it. You have to check in at the neighborhood gate. Since lots of people are checking into their rental about the same time, it takes a very long time to get your parking pass and get through the gate. We loved the neighborhood pool. It really is great. The house was perfect for what we needed. We liked the layout and the number of bathrooms.

Beautiful home and great location

The location of this home is so perfect for any of the parks of Orlando. The amenities of the home made it such a relaxing get-away. Enjoyed the pool, the spacious bedrooms and the surrounding grounds for walking and wildlife watching.

Orlando 2024

First of all a great location and view over the lake. The house was generally clean but could do with a proper clean , skirting boards and floors particularly . Wallpaper in the master bedroom is peeling and the bed broken , held up with a brick . One of the sun loungers is broken and can’t be used , why don’t you replace it ? The table tennis table was also broken and not useable , again , if you advertise it and it’s broken , then , change the ad or replace it …. Overall the house was acceptable but nothing more , all appliances worked and the pool/area clean and tidy. I was disappointed the BBQ wasn’t included , maybe an oversight on my part , but I’ve never had a villa where it wasn’t included in the rental .

Plenty big for the 5 adults that stayed. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. I will definitely be using this home again for a family vacation, and business next time we are in Orlando

Not exactly what we thought...

Pictures reflect the house. There was a strange smell especially in the kitchen area, so we did not use the back part of the downstairs. The pool wasn't very clean, not sure if that is just a Florida thing. The couch in the living room had notable wear and tear, but the couch in the family room looked brand new.

Nice place

The place was just about perfect. Great location that was close to the area attractions and getting to and from the airport was very easy. Lots of local dining options, grocery stores, and other fun things to do. The property had a nice pool area, a nice kitchen, and plenty of space for our family of 7. The resort clubhouse was an excellent addition for those days we needed some downtime. I definitely recommend this property..!

Spring break 2023

The house was the perfect size for 8 of us. Overall I give it 5 stars, but just a few suggestions... The kids enjoyed the game room, but most of the ping pong paddles were broken and there were no balls; we purchased some balls and played with broken paddles. The pool table needs to be leveled, and the cue stick tips repaired (they were broken and/or had no tips from the get-go). The first floor bedroom toilet is loose to the floor. The great room furniture could use an upgrade. I think it was worth it to pay extra to heat the pool, but the temperature seemed to be very inconsistent. More advice on this topic in the listing might be beneficial.

The house is nice, fits my needs. This is my second time renting this house. I would definitely rent it again. This time the house needed a little more attention in reference to cleanliness. Trash can was broke, refrigerator was dirty. Once notified attempts to correct the complaint were timely. Hard to communicate with property manager. Email was not answered until the next day. Phone calls not answered. Kim

Nice house, but one bathroom room was nasty.

The house is nice, it could use a few more things in the kitchen. The cleaning crew did a horrible job in the Jack and Jill bathroom. There was a considerable amount of hair in the shower and the pocket door even had excrement smeared on the door. No response to my email with pictures. After 2 calls on Monday and Tuesday someone finally returned a call on Wednesday, but I had to ask them to call back and they never did. The pool heater at the house was a lifesaver. However, the pools and lazy river are not heated at Storey Lake Resort.

Great area

Whilst we had a good time we were quite saddened at how much the house was showing signs of wear and tear considering it is a fairly new house (less than 3 years old) the sofa had very bad signs of wear and tear, white bits of leather stuck to your clothes when you stood up, wallpaper peeling off the walls, what looked like blood on the back of one toilet door, filthy air conditioning vents, very poor quality towels, freezing cold pool. However a very spacious and stunning house in a great location and great communal pool area.

Recommend Renting Elsewhere

This house was very dirty. Carpet was filthy. Throw pillows covered in dust. Shower grout with mold and mildew. HVAC air filters were black and looked like they hadn’t been changed in years (we saw this because the covers are not secure and one fell off upon someone going up the stairs). Dishwasher was broken upon arrival and was never fixed throughout our entire stay. We had to hand wash dishes for 12 people for 6 nights. I had to call the 1-800 number 5 times just to get a simple work order started for the dishwasher which still didn’t resolve the issue. One of the rooms was so terribly hot my family members had to buy a $50 fan at Target. Although I mentioned the venting issue to the property management company, nothing was done to fix it or even look into it. I would not rent this place again and would recommend spending a little more money to rent something better.

Perfect house for our group of 10

There were 10 of us who stayed in house, and it worked out perfectly for us! Pool was a refreshing treat for everyone. Neighborhood was quiet and we had no issues entering/leaving the community via rear gate (a couple previous reviews noted issues with noise and rear gate). Our young adult children and their significant others raved about the house all week. Plenty of space, and they enjoyed the game room and watched movies together one night. Two recommendations: additional outside dining seating as it was for just 6 people and the house holds 13 and replacement of bar seats in kitchen as they were very worn and one had holes in it. House is easy driving distance to Disney and Universal parks (15-25 minutes based on park). Walmart, Target, and grocery store & any other shopping needs just a couple minutes away for all necessities. We will recommend this property to others and if we head that way again as a large group we would stay again. Good communication with property management as well prior to stay and upon arrival.

Nice place to stay with family

The house was clean and spacious for our family (4 families). Each family liked a private bedroom and a bathroom of their own. We also liked the spacious kitchen and great room areas for social gathering. The house is located in a safe and convenient community that is close to the Disney and other theme parks. The only things that were inconvenient during our stay were (1) there are TVs in the great room and the theater room on the first floor and each TV needs two remote controls to operate, and each TV was missing a remote control of different kind and (2) the Wi-Fi was not available on the departure day. The host informed us that one set of the remote controls on the first floor should operate both TVs; however, that was not the case. Not having the Wi-Fi available on the day of departure was disappointing and inconvenient. At the end, we were fine with not watching TVs in the great room and the theater room, and we managed the network connection on our own on the departure day. Even with these minor issues we had, we give five star ratings to this property. We will not hesitate to stay here again when we visit the Orlando area next time, and we recommend the property to others.
